If I were drafting AI regulation, I'd prioritize this

If you were drafting legislation with policymakers to make sure AI is developed safely and responsibly, what would you prioritize? I'd probably look for three basic principles in that drafting 1 Focus on the misuses, not the models. Focus on the malicious users, not the underlying infrastructure. The second would be to prioritize concrete security problems over these sort of super theoretical, borderline sci fi, doomsday Terminator scenarios that they're calling AI safety. Those are not our most pressing safety issues, where a model autonomously goes rogue and launches a cyber attack on our power grid. Like that's the plotline of our Schwarzenegger movie.
