Matt Wolfe asks a guest to rank six major technological milestones: superhuman AI, full self-driving, Mars missions, global internet, supersonic jets, and disease cures. The guest weighs which will arrive first and which within the next decade.
I'll read a tweet real quick. Put out. You said in the next 10 years we're going to have superhuman AI full self driving everywhere in the world. Humans on Mars, Internet everywhere on earth, supersonic commercial jets and cures for major diseases. What do you think is coming first of those? And I'm just kind of curious to hear your sort of future scenario and what do you think is kind of coming within the next few years? What do you think is still 10 years out? Like how does this story unfold?
Yeah I would imagine.
That all of.
This comes back to being like a physical hardware challenge which will be really interesting to see how that plays out. Like I imagine the main limitation on a lot of the progress it takes place is like can we get enough GPUs or I'm guessing in 10 years there'll be some new iteration. It won't be gpus but some new compute to power all of these things.
