The biggest news a couple of weeks ago was Anthropic's Mythos, the model that was so big and so scary that Anthropic said, we can't release it to the world. Well, it got accessed by unauthorized users and people that weren't supposed to get their hands on it apparently got their hands on it. If you're going to go around and market your model as this is the greatest model the world's ever seen, but it's too powerful and too scary for anybody out there to use it, that just makes people want to get their hands on it even more. Apparently Anthropic is saying that there's no evidence that the access is impacting any of its systems. So I don't know. If it's been used for anything too nefarious yet. On the Core Memory podcast, Sam Altman shared exactly how he feels about what's going on.
