Matt Wolfe demos the Oasis One, a $289 titanium ring with a noise-isolating mic that converts whispered speech to text and a tiny trackpad on top for scrolling and cursor control. It works with Mac, iPhone, and Vision Pro, lasts 16 hours per charge.
This tech startup wants you to throw away your keyboard and replace it with a ring? This is the Oasis One. It's a titanium ring built to control your computer. You hold your hand near your mouth and whisper an email, message, document, or AI prompt, and it has a noise isolation microphone that captures your voice and Whisper Flow turns it into text. Then the top of the ring is an actual miniature 2D trackpad. You can swipe with your thumb to scroll, move the cursor, navigate, or edit what you just dictated, all without touching a keyboard or mouse. It even has haptic feedback. The Ring gets up to 16 hours of battery life and is designed to work with Macs, iPhones, and the Apple Vision Pro. The Oasis One costs $289 and pre-orders are open right now. This isn't sponsored, by the way. This is just cool tech that I wanted to share. Would you replace your keyboard with this? Let me know in the comments and follow for more AI and tech videos.
