Matt Wolfe shows how to create seamless video transitions using AI. Record two clips in different outfits or locations, extract the first and last frames, upload them to an AI video tool like Runway with a prompt for camera motion, then blend the generated transition between your clips.

I'm gonna show you how to do this edit. It's actually pretty easy. First, film the beginning of your shot in one location. So for example, I wanna start in my studio, so I would just record me saying some sort of intro. Then when you get to that second location, the one you wanna jump to, film yourself again in the same shirt, holding the same pose, or as close to it as possible. And this will make the transition feel way more believable. Now you'll have to grab two still frames. Frame 1 is the very last frame from that first location. Frame 2 is the very first frame from your second location. Then go into an AI video tool like Runway or Leonardo or Kllng or any tool that supports keyframes, but they all work pretty well. Upload frame 1 as the starting frame, frame 2 as the ending frame, and then prompt the transition with something like this: "The camera shoots up like a big jump transition and reveals the second location in one smooth motion. The man does not speak." That last part is kind of important because AI models love to make you randomly talk gibberish for some reason. I recommend generating a few versions, then pick the best one, download it, and drop it into your editor. Then cut it between the two real clips and use a smooth cut or short crossfade to try to hide that seam. And here's the whole clip. So, uh, I've got a trick. All I gotta do is this. And I'm here. You can use the same concept for a bunch of different transitions like teleporting, time travel, wormholes, mic tosses, outfit changes, like whatever you want. So there you have it.
