We're officially getting ads inside of chat GPT. This was announced on February 9th. We knew this was coming. As of this week, apparently they're actually rolling them out. They do give a bit of a sneak peek of what the ads will look like. We can see them typing a prompt. It gives the response to their prompt as it normally would. But then at the very bottom, once the prompt is finished responding, we actually see an ad that is very clearly marked sponsor. And there's no doubt that that's actually an ad. And you can even see here they have a disclaimer. Ads do not influence the answers you get from GPT. Your chat stay private. Learn about ads and personalization. They also show here that you have control. You can turn off ad personalization, you can turn off the ability for ads to see your past chats and memory, and you can delete all ad data if you want.
