Which AI Is Better? 🖥️ WEBSITE EDITION

Matt Wolfe compares Framer and Claude Design for building websites with AI. Framer's agents edit and publish directly on a live canvas, while Claude generates code you must export elsewhere. For shipping a finished site in one place, Framer wins.

I tested two popular AI website builders to see which one looks better. Both were tasked with building a landing page advertising Midjourney's new full body scanner product. I actually made another video about this that went viral. It's actually pretty insane. But here's the website from Midjourney. It's pretty simple. First, I'll try Framer. This is one of the most popular AI site builders and they just rolled out Framer Agents that can operate directly on a live website. I described the product and the visual style I'm after and the agent starts building the site right of Framer's design canvas. It creates sections and layouts and animations and responsive pages in the same place where the final website actually lives. If I don't like something, I can ask the agent to fix it or manually tweak things myself, like redesign the hero section, change the typography, and even optimize the SEO metadata. Or I could branch off and compare versions, only publish the one I actually want. Now I'm gonna try to do the same thing using Claude Design. Again, I'm using the same prompt to describe what I want and it generated a clean design with solid copywriting and a nice layout. But I will say that this workflow is different. Claude created the design and code, then you still have to take that output and turn it into a production website in another platform to launch it. With Framer, design, editing, AI collaboration, and publishing, they all happen in this one place. So here's the final comparison. Let me know in the comments which one you think looks better. And if your goal is to build, refine, maintain, and actually ship a professional website all in one place, Framer's AI agents do a a great job. So for client sites or for your own business, check out Framer.
