A short YouTube conversation (Matt Wolfe and another speaker) comparing Apple’s Siri to the Rabbit R1 voice assistant; speakers suggest Siri’s upcoming improvements may replicate or exceed Rabbit R1’s capabilities and comment on how Siri’s voice has remained similar for many years.
The point is, I got this the same day they made those announcements. And I feel like Siri, when it rolls out on our phones, will be able to do every single thing this can do, plus more. So it's like, what did we need these things for again?
Yeah. Yeah. It's kind of amazing it's taken them this long to make Siri good. It's been, like, what, over 10 years now?
And the voice was still the same?
Yeah, the voice was still the same. It was an upgrade, but it was not, like, as dramatic as I was expecting. Like, it was, like, a solid upgrade.
