A brief YouTube discussion where two speakers speculate whether OpenAI might pay Apple as part of a partnership, drawing analogy to Google’s existing multi-billion-dollar payments to Apple to be the default search engine.
It wouldn't be actually the first time that Apple did something like this. Right. They bowed out of the search game. And Google pays Apple billions of dollars a year to be their search engine. So, like, would it be, like, a similar setup?
You know, I don't know. That is interesting.
Can you see OpenAI paying Apple?
I don't. I think, actually, Apple's gonna pay them. If I had to guess, I assume with the Google thing, Apple had more leverage. Cause they could come in and say, hey, we actually do have the talent to build something like Google. Maybe it's not going to be as good, but it's going to be 95%. And so with that argument, then they could get it where? Okay, yeah, Google, you pay us.
