What happens if YOU take DMT for 97 days?

Tillman took DMT daily for 97 days at around 35 mg per session, documenting fractal entities, reality as simulation, and intense perceptual shifts. Unlike LSD or psilocybin, DMT showed little tolerance, allowing consistent breakthroughs. Lung damage from the corrosive smoke eventually forced him to stop, though final sessions brought profound joy and reflection on mortality.

This is Tillman. He has taken DMT 97 days in a row. The strongest psychedelic on Earth. Most people only take DMT once in their life because the experience is so profound and mind-boggling. When they come back, they don't even have words to convey what they've been through. Because of this, Tillman is one of the very few people on Earth that may be able to answer the impossible questions that we all wonder about the DMT experience. Is DMT really taking you to another dimension, or is it just in your mind? How did taking DMT 97 times in a row affect you cognitively? And Tillman, are you okay? Today I will be interviewing Tillman, and we will answer all of these questions and more. After taking DMT 97 times continuously, how has it affected you cognitively?
I was a bit worried about this, and I was speaking to my partner obviously in advance. I said, look, at one point, if I'm losing myself and I have no frame of reference that I'm losing myself, you know, you have to tell me. And I was taking it into consideration that it could have an effect on my brain. And I was even a bit hoping for it. I wanted to immerse myself into the psychedelic space more often. What can I do? What about if I do it every day? So that was the, that was the idea. I wanted to go on the other side. So I was recording myself all the time. The first times I would just tell what my current situation is, what I'm going to do today, what kind of method I'm using. And how much milligram I'm inhaling. I would smoke it, inhale it, get my recording device again, and speak in it. That would be the first session. Reality felt like a simulation, and it was like I had the chance to look behind the simulation in the DMT space, and now I'm back and I'm simulated now, like, like this avatar. And also my friends and everyone I know is just a mathematical representation in a fractal simulation. Sometimes it feels like you're opening a door or a window, and after this, it's open forever. So for example, I'm really interested in insects.
Mm-hmm.
After I have done a lot of psychedelics, I'm now looking closer. My vision is completely the same. I'm seeing the same thing, and I'm seeing the same insect. But now I take more precise conscious awareness on the little details, and I'm really looking at it.
Have you noticed any tolerance?
There's not much of a tolerance with DMT in consecutive daily uses. It's not the same like with LSD or psilocybin. 35 milligrams breaks you through yesterday, it breaks you through tomorrow. I was actually hoping to find some answers when I had my first experience. I wanted so hard to find out what's actually the substance of reality. My background is science, so I was digging deeper in physics, in chemistry. So, you know, at the end, you kind of end at physics. I figured maybe DMT could help. The last experience was— the last experience was I was basically just crying. I was crying about happiness. That I'm alive, that I'm in this 3-dimensional body. I'm happy that I'm aging, you know, I'm happy that I'm decaying, I'm happy that I'm dying at one point. You know, the 97th day was my last one. Probably at 90 or 85, I figured it's not good for my lungs because this substance is really corrosive.
Mm-hmm.
And it affects your tissue, especially soft tissue. 4 or 5 days from the week, I was like, no, I don't want to smoke DMT today. So I didn't really like it, but I said to myself, if I'm gonna stop, I'm gonna stop at least after 100. So before, I was sometimes forcing myself cognitively to do it today, okay? And then I figured my body is suffering, so I was pushing myself physically. This experience was the last. I'm like— Okay, I'm finished. So I don't have to do it anymore. That's you know I've done so much. I've I forced myself, and then I was in communication with this entity, and it said, "You're ready." And I'm like, "Yeah, but you know I wanted to do like 150 or at least 100 or 101." And it was like, "No, you are ready when you're ready. You don't have to push yourself." And also 97 sounds cool enough. Why you know? What's the point with the 100 or 99? Make something out of it. Be creative. Become the best version of yourself to really express yourself.
Humanity was born to explore. From Neil Armstrong stepping on the moon to Christopher Columbus sailing across the Atlantic Sea. To Tillman, a man that was willing to embrace uncertainty and explore the unknown. We are explorers. Cameron, the editor, and I are going to continue to explore new topics and make videos about it for you guys. Subscribe to join this journey with us. Thank you very much. I love you guys.
