EPIC interviews ( iii )

People who went to Epicurrence Five in Jackson Hole talk about snowboarding, the community, and a power outage that happened during the event. They reflect on what made it meaningful and fun.
I came to Epicurrents for the people, the passion and the powder, but not the power. Please do. These are interviews from a small selection of folks who left at the same time from Jackson Hole, Wyoming airport after Epicurrence Number five. Had a lot of fun learning how to snowboard for the first time. Matt here was a great guy and taught me some stuff. I had a blast at Epicurrence. First time snowboarding in waist deep powder. I met amazing people and Epicureans was awesome. There you. Yeah, it was great. How awesome was it, Ramon? It was really powerful and a powerful experience. Yeah, that's good. Without the power. Three words. Epic Wind storm. It was great to just meet so many people from all over and hear about their life stories. Epicurrence is aptly named because it was an epic occurrence. So we don't need power to have good times and it's good to meet everyone. My favorite thing about Epicurrence was just meeting all of these amazing people and getting a better sense of my life direction. Epicurus. I really enjoy just meeting really awesome people and their experience. Such a talent taker. Had an awesome time at Epicurrents and learned how to make nachos in a campfire. I think Epicurrents was absolutely epic. Especially the blackout. The whole storm thing. That even made it best. We made great relationships and that's the best thing about it. Epicurrence. It's a week long therapy for me. Like seeing all the new friends. For sure. I'm here again. I would say the best thing about Epicureans is finding out this guy has four kids. Four kids and one more that doesn't have anything to do about me. That you're from Athens, Georgia, not me. It's like. No, I would say the talks. The talks are really good. And the fact that the power rang out and everybody got probably closer because the talks were actually, you know, because we had no power. Bad thing about Repeca winds is waking up at 3am in the morning because the fire alarm went off. So that was really fun. I thought the house was on fire. What's up people? Welcome to my channel. The most epic thing was when we were building that jump and all of us were going down it and it was super fun. Ate some crap. That was cool. Something epic about this conference. Besides our crazy alarm story at the Two Wolves house. That sucked. But we had a lot of really good snowball fights on the Snow King Mountain and some epic slides made by Lauren in front of the Epic house. I think the most epic part about Epicurrence was Actually, the power outage bringing us closer together. I thought it was amazing and I had a great time. Big thing, I think for me was just the experience. I mean, it was just like an amazing experience. Got to meet awesome people. It was an epic adventure with all the power outages and alarm issues. But yeah, I will come again. It was amazing. Most epic thing about this trip for me was learning to snowboard and face planning big time in the snow, rent a helmet. I think the most epic part about this trip was, well one, taking two days to get here, arriving to no power, but still having amazing people and even better talks. So I hope to come again. Most epic piece was kind of seeing how epic we all are in the sense that everyone was super flexible. We adjusted. We made the most out of this experience. So I think it was just probably awesome to see, like, when placed in crazy situations, how we all bounce back. So I think that was the most epic piece is kind of everyone's attitudes and kind of seeing that we have it in us to deal with anything. So thanks. Epicurrence is one of the best community experiences I think that I've ever been a part of. Epicurrence, to me, was bridging creativity as a community and just meeting the people is what's. What it's really all about for me. So that's what I enjoyed the most. Having the fun adventure of the no power and all that super dope.
