first vlog of 2017

This is a YouTube video titled "first vlog of 2017" created in early January 2017. It features a single speaker sharing a personal vlog about their plans to produce design tutorial videos twice a week, reflecting on the challenges of consistent video creation, and inviting viewer interaction. The content is a monologue focused on video production goals and personal updates.
All right, so up here, part. See, move that thing around. Had a hat on all day, but it's casting this weird shadow. It's not too bad for wearing a hat all day. Alright, so welcome. Thank you for watching. And I want to let you know that this is my very first video of 2017, and I'm gonna try to make videos every Tuesday and Thursday. And, you know, getting started is pretty difficult because I've got lots of ideas and I don't want to make the wrong video or do the wrong thing or commit to something. But I tried doing a little bit of vlogging last year and it was really fun, but it's just not sustainable. I've got client work all day long, most days, not every day, but most days. And then I come home, spend time with the kids, spend time with my wife, and I just. There's no way I'm gonna stay up editing a bunch of videos every single day. It's just not gonna happen. And I. So anyway, but I do want to make videos. I want to make more design tutorials. I'm gonna be making some sketch videos, some XD videos, might even do some coding videos or something like that, who knows? What I'm really trying to say, though, is that I'm not making videos every day. It's just. I can't do it. It's not possible. I commend Casey Neistat for doing that for so long. It was really inspiring, but I just, I can't do that. I'm not gonna try to do it and I'm not going to do it. So Tuesdays and Thursdays are as good as you're going to get from me. I'm going to try to commit to do it for the full year. I don't like to do that because I might change my mind, but who knows? It's actually after five right now. I need to go home right now to go home and see my family because I've been at the office all day. But what I do want to say is, well, you know what? I've got a bunch of notes right here that I was gonna do like a 2016 review kind of video, but I don't even want to do that. I just. I'm just gonna say this is a video. Today is Tuesday, January 3, 2017, and this is a true video log. It's boring. I'm talking directly to the camera right here, to you. I think if I can just push myself to make these videos when I don't have scheduled content that I want to produce. I think that I could probably bust that out and it could work. I mean, I've got a list of like a lot of design tutorial videos. I've got some more courses that I want to do, but I've got to start somewhere. I've got to start producing videos and this is the start. So happy New Year to you. That's all I'm gonna do for this video. That's it. Oh, one other thing I forgot to mention before I leave, before I go home, if you have been watching my videos, all 360 of you, if you've gotten any value out of them and you just have in your mind, you've thought, man, I really wish. I really wish Matt would put these types of videos out. I wish he would show more about this process, more about UI design, more about UX design, more about freelancing, more about life with four kids. It's kind of cool because, you know, there's not going to be that many people commenting. If you do comment on this one, I can guarantee if I read it before I make the next video, I will answer your question. So, anyway, thanks a lot for watching. I will talk to you in the next video.
