I stepped on TWO nails

The creator stepped on two nails during office renovations and had to get a tetanus shot. They're rebuilding their space with soundproofing, rugs, and panels to improve video quality.
Just because it's the middle of night, I don't think I won't hunt you. Now, sitting here editing a bunch of footage from the last week or so, we've been doing a lot of work on our office. This room right in here is like a small little room that I'm going to try to soundproof for videos like this. But when I'm not out here, I'm out there and we're took down a bunch of walls. So here are the. Take a good look at these walls because they're coming down today. We're going to take down this wall and we're going to take down this long wall and take down this wall. But technically, after we get them done, we're going to take this wall down here and we're going to move it to this column. Not column, post, beam, whatever. It's called these. The walls right here. They were in. They were put in by the tenant previous to us. The original space didn't have them, and that's how we remembered it. But these big walls sectioned off the warehouse section from their offices, and they also had screen printers in there. And we actually thought about keeping them for a little while and thought about subleasing out that smaller space. But it's not like completely private because the wall only goes up and then there's open air. So we ultimately decided to just take them down and make a smaller section. So if you're wondering, it's not just me in here. There is currently four other people, including myself. Sometimes Shanna works here on Fridays and does her thing. There's like a. The previous tenant had a screen printer in this area, and there's like screen printing tub and whatnot. So that's all gonna have to come out. All of this is gonna come down. We may leave this wall up to kind of keep the bathrooms and the kitchen area separate. But we're. I didn't realize you were saying that. Look in my eye for some more. I don't know, for. From the windows up here. Almost there. The wall is coming down. I just stepped on a nail and my foot hurts. God. Did you say you stepped on two nails? Oh, yeah. Excuse me. Two nails together. It wasn't just any nail. It was one of those Brad nails. It's like a U shape and. But they're like pretty long. And I was just walking along and I filmed a lot of stuff that day, but I missed the part where I stepped on a nail. I went and got a tetanus shot the next day. It Hurt. It went directly into my heel, like up to the side. And. Ah, it. It was nasty. It's all healed up now. For the most part, it's not that sore. So I think overall, I'm doing pretty good on the nail and the foot front as of. That's pretty good for a day's work. Come back tomorrow and finish it up. We did it. We. We knocked this wall down. Took this wall that was up here, moved it to the back. Now we've got a little U shape over here. A little U shape action. It should have been tightened. Oh. And untightens it when it freaks out like that. I don't know if that's better or not, but it's freaking hard to do. Oh, they're long. They're very long. Just as a heads up. Okay, you can do it. Now. I'm gonna go get my other. I'm gonna put this rug in the sound room to try to take out a little bit of the echo. Also, I need to put up those, like, the sound panels everywhere. But gonna start with the rug. It's a quick fix. So this is a couple of days later. I bought a rug for this room to try to cut down on some of the echo. I've also, like, you can't really see it right now, but if I take this off. So I've got some sound panels started up in here, and I've got some stuff ordered for the rest of the room. I got this rug down here. So anyway. All right, testing, testing. One, two, three, testing. With no rug. Testing, testing. One, two, three, testing. I don't actually know if it helped at all. Pretty cozy. All right, that's where I'm gonna end this video. I think I'm still in this room. I'm trying to figure out how to get the echo to be not as echoey, but with a small room with a bunch of flat surfaces. You just have to put stuff in here. So I've got this rug. I've got the sound panel started, and I'm probably gonna put some more stuff in here later. And probably just experiment with, like, shooting in different directions and see just how the sound sounds. So. Because I don't want to disturb everyone out there when I'm making. If I'm making these videos pretty regularly, I don't want to have to shoot where everyone's at their desk. So it's just kind of nice to have a quiet room, that it has a good sound quality. But I gotta work on the sound quality. So I was gonna show the intro to Icon's landing page walkthrough in this video, but I think I'm gonna save it for another video because merging the two just seems weird now, so I'm gonna end it there. Thank you for watching and putting up with all of the disjointedness of just all these random clips. I haven't been as consistent with, like, paying attention to the exact footage I need for certain videos. So you just end up with all this different footage, and you just, like, you get kind of overwhelmed with the footage. So that's what this video is. It's just getting rid of some footage. So thanks for watching. Hit the thumbs up if you liked it. Hit the subscribe if you haven't done already, and I'll see you in the next video. Peace out, baby? My love is gone?
