(created 2021-09-24). The excerpt is a conversational exchange between Megan Killion and another participant labeled here as 'Speaker A' (likely Matt McComb per the title). They discuss business-building and marketing topics—automated outreach, focusing on strengths and delegation (video editing vs. content creation), hiring creatives, positioning in the cannabis industry, community monetization, and a recent sales win—within the context of a business/marketing discussion.

That's why I was like, you know what? I'm okay with just like, you know, messaging this person that I totally blew it on with the first couple messages. And being like, that's a bot.
Right? Automated outreach right there. Well, yeah.
And I'm like, okay, let's talk about cannabis.
And be like, listen, cannabis is not about making money. Cannabis is about changing lives and healing people. And like, If you don't even understand the restorative properties of the plant that you're pushing, like, how can you possibly be in this industry? The thing that you are naturally good at, organically always learning about, that you're passionate about, that aligns with your purpose, and that energizes you. And the more you can focus on that stuff, the more productive you are, the better your company gets. All like, that's when you start winning. Mm-hmm. So why would I not give the video editing to the person who's like, that's all I wanna do, and I'll go write a new piece of content cuz that's all I wanted to do. Focus on what you're good at, we'll take care of everything else, right?
That's already our pitch.
Yeah.
It's our philosophy is 90% of the work should be done by us and 10% by you because you hired a marketing department, not a marketing agency. As long as there's one point of contact, we'll do it all for you.
The timing is so good because I was going to hire creatives.
So remember when I first messaged you today and I said, I want to build a relationship? Yeah. It was serious about that. I'm in this for the long term. So however you want to do it.
When you think about paganism, it's most often represented by a divine feminine. And it's just now that women are feeling like empowered to explore their own like divinity and faith and their internal magic. I was like, wait, so you're telling me no one else is going to tell me what this means and I get to define it for myself? Okay. I don't know what that makes me, but I'm super excited to find out with a bunch of other people who are also curious on a platform that I created that I can hopefully monetize. I love it. And you're paid.
Oh my God, girl, I'm gonna have to do the sales dance now. We just made a sale, we just made a sale. Hey, can I tell you guys something? I just made a sale, I just made a sale.
That's awesome, I love it. I actually, I literally have a project to hand to you the second you send me somebody, so.
Cool.
We're gonna pop— we're gonna roll it right out. All right, talk to you later.
