Like any great idea, the inspiration for Managed Services Group came from a problem that needed solving. You see, a man named Mark was frustrated with corporate America. Mark saw that a concerning trend was happening over and over again. Companies that traditionally made copiers were trying to transition to becoming computer companies, and frankly, they were doing a terrible job of it. The way they were doing things, digital copiers had to be connected to the network to get anything done, which inevitably caused one big headache for clients. Mark saw the repeated failures of these copier companies, and he knew that there was a better way. He knew he could do IT better. But back then, managed IT wasn't even a thing. So Mark and his team had to teach people what it was. They were off to a strong start, but then things got even more complicated with the dawn of the internet. Mark knew that the managed IT services his business provided were more important now than ever. MSG started as a Windows server maintenance, monitoring, and remediation company. Eventually, we evolved to workstations, switches, and firewalls. At this point, Everything connected to the server, but every single piece of hardware needed to be quarterbacked. Clients just wanted copiers that worked, but vendors couldn't play nice together. This lack of communication created a big issue. The stubborn vendors couldn't get things working cohesively between the network and the multiple pieces of hardware. Everyone just wanted to point the finger. Finally, Mark and his team at MSG got sick of it. They stepped in time and time again, and this eventually led to them offering vendor management services. This much-needed intervention grew rapidly to include software layers with things like Microsoft. Microsoft Office, cloud storage, and even automation. MSG deals with robust and respected hardware such as Dell, SonicWall, Barracuda, and Xerox. As for software, we manage programs like Office 365, Barracuda Essentials, Malwarebytes, LastPass, and SSL Wildcard. With our vendor management secret sauce, our clients save thousands each month, and it's all thanks to our buying power and the seed of an idea planted by Mark all those years ago. Today, we are proud to use our expertise and experience to exceed client expectations every time. When you need superior managed IT services, partner with MSG.
