In this concise video, the speaker outlines practical steps for salespeople to boost demand generation on LinkedIn. The key points are: individual LinkedIn profiles have roughly ten times the reach of company pages, so personal posting is more effective; create original content rather than just sharing others; deeply define and understand your Ideal Customer Profile (ICP) and use the buyer’s jargon and topics that matter to them; organize your posts into a few (ideally three) content buckets or themes to satisfy the platform’s algorithm; maintain a consistent posting schedule—whether weekly or multiple times per day—to stay visible; and use LinkedIn content as a complementary layer to outbound outreach, allowing prospects to see relevant, value‑adding material before they are contacted. The speaker encourages viewers to reach out with questions.

Hey guys, I'm going to share a few quick tips on how to increase demand generation for the company you work for as a salesperson on LinkedIn. First and foremost, the average individual user of LinkedIn has 10 times the reach of a company profile. So it's important for you and your company to know that when you post on LinkedIn, more people are going to see it than when the company profile posts. Not so much if you share their post, but if you create original content on LinkedIn. Second of all, you need to narrow and understand your ICP and your niche. Once you dive deep on the buyer personas that you're trying to talk to, you will understand what actually brings value to them. What do they talk about? What language do they use? You're gonna want to use the jargon and the language of your ideal buyer. You're gonna want to talk about things that matter to them, and you're going to want to pick content buckets so that you know the types of things that you want to talk about on LinkedIn. For me, I talk about sales, marketing, leadership, and sometimes other random stuff because I'm ADHD and I can't focus on just 3 things. But the algorithm says you focus on 3, you're going to do better. If you can do this and you can post regularly, whether that's once a week, 3 times a week, every day, 3 times a day, whatever that looks like for you, if you can get some consistency behind it and you can talk about things that are valuable to your ICP, your customers are going to start coming to you instead of you having to go to your customers. And in the beginning, when you start doing this, it should be more as a secondary piece to your outreach so that you are solidifying yourself. When you message a prospect and you say whatever it is that you say to them, whatever it is that is your value proposition, you're trying to get them to buy from you. How much better would it be if they go to your LinkedIn and they see relevant valuable content rather than just basically your resume? I hope this helps and always feel free to message me if you have questions. Bye for now!
