The speaker thanks Heather Johnson, Dean, Alex Boyd, and Elle Copeland for their support and mentorship. She contrasts her current community with her previous B2B tech sales job, where she drove major pipeline growth but faced inappropriate demands like strip-club team building and sharing rooms while pregnant. She says this online community feels like home.

Hey y'all, it is Friendship Friday and today I actually just wanted to shout out some friends in the channel who see me, check up on me, and are good to me. I just want to call them out. So first of all, Heather Johnson from Gozinta. You are such a powerful woman. I'm so incredibly grateful that I found you, that I know you, that we're working together. Heather saw on Facebook that I meal prep and so she sent me a book full of meal prepping tips and tricks as well as one of her favorite books about kind of calming the chaos in our lives at a period when I was down. And she did not have to do that. There was no real like motivated reason for her to do that other than just being a kind and wonderful individual. And it is just so incredible to find and get to collaborate with other independent, strong, Powerful, intelligent women in the channel and have people to look up to and learn from. Dean, you've been a pal since absolutely forever, basically as far back as I can remember, honestly. The number of times that you have reached out to me, spoken up for me, and just been a bro and called me out and looped me into conversations. I think I owe you a good chunk of my business. It's due to you. Alex Boyd, oh my God. To my fellow witchy sister on the channel, you bring me life. Every time I see you, I feel rejuvenated and so excited to be here and keep on going. Over the last couple of years, the channel has really become my home. It's, it's hard to give the appropriate words to something that has been so impactful in my life, both personally and professionally. I come from a B2B tech sales background where I was expected to go to the strip club for team building, where I was expected to room with male sales bro colleagues and share space with them while I was pregnant. And where I have not been valued for my contributions despite quadrupling, 5xing, building the entire pipeline for orgs up until the, you know, point where they could get acquired for half a billion dollars. And it is so wonderful to be in a community where I'm seen. where I'm appreciated and where I add value and get to see the impact of that every single day. But more importantly, it's just so incredible for my colleagues to have become friends who've become family. Uh, additional shout out to Elle Copeland. Um, every single time that we meet and we talk, I feel like we just vibe and we make so much progress and we have so many incredible ideas. And it's just wonderful to have that person to bounce ideas off of and continue to grow things. With, um, anyways, this Friendship Friday, I don't really have any advice other than, um, to give as much as you can to this community and you will receive it back tenfold. And thank you so much to my friends for being there for me through all of the stages of my professional journey. I appreciate you more than I could ever put into words.
