The video opens with a lyrical excerpt that references change and hardship, setting a reflective mood. The main speaker then delivers a monologue that commemorates Martin Luther King Jr.'s birthday while linking King's historic advocacy to the modern concept of universal basic income (UBI). The speaker argues that UBI is a longstanding American idea, rooted in thinkers like Thomas Paine, and frames it as a conservative, dignity‑preserving policy rather than welfare. Andrew Yang’s “Yang Gang” is presented as the contemporary champion of this vision, carrying forward what the speaker describes as part of King’s unfinished work. The monologue then pivots to promote a blockchain‑based UBI initiative—BitcoinNYK/BitcoinMYK—claiming that cryptocurrency can efficiently distribute UBI worldwide. The speaker cites economic benefits such as stabilizing the middle class, preventing dual‑economy polarization, and improving global health, while emphasizing that every UBI project is a collective win. The video concludes with a call to action: viewers are urged to visit the project website, support the Yang Gang, and celebrate King’s legacy by helping realize a universal basic income for all Americans.

It's been a long, a long time coming, but I know a change gonna come. Oh yes, it will. Then I go to my brother. And I said, brother, help me please. But he winds up knocking me back down on my knees. Every time that I thought I couldn't last for long Happy Martin Luther King Jr.
birthday, Yang Gang! So many of you all who follow Andrew Yang probably by this time knows he talks about quite a bit Martin Luther King was championing guaranteed income, basically universal basic income. Right before he was assassinated. Just so how to show how important universal basic income has been to the history of America. Thomas Paine, even if you go back, um, centuries prior to that. So this is a very American idea. Uh, it is not something that is foreign to the Americas. it is not some type of welfare or something to that degree. Um, it is a very conservative American idea, and we celebrate today Martin Luther King's birthday, and we hope that you all will help us to make what some of his last life's work was to be about and that was to invest back in the American people, uh, give them dignity and make sure their basic needs are taken care of as citizens in America. And by investing in the citizens of America, you make a better, stronger, and healthy America. And that's what Andrew Yang is fighting for. He's kind of taking up that mantle And we as well celebrate Martin Luther King's birthday, and hopefully along with the Yang Gang, help to make this a reality. What we've done is we've tried to do our little part in this, and the way we've done it is we're using some of the most advanced technology in the world right now, blockchain technology, in order to, um, basically be able to distribute these universal basic income cryptocurrencies to the globe. Now, one thing I've learned about universal basic income, uh, since it's been a great interest of mine from an economical standpoint, and, uh, when I really looked into it and looked at it, what really got me interested in universal basic income, uh, is when I seen just how well it could be distributed and how many people it can help across the globe. And creating this distinction and difference between many problems that occur in an economy where you might have basically a shrinking middle class. Some places you might have a dual economy where you're either rich or you're poor. And my belief is a project like universal basic income would balance that and would stop those dangerous economies from occurring. That are unhealthy in the long term. So with universal basic income projects, I found no matter how many they are, they're always a good thing because they help to facilitate that. And so universal basic income isn't a competitive market at all. In fact, every time I see any type of project that is participating in universal basic income it is a win for us overall. That means that eventually everyone will have access to their basic human needs, and that's very important to the health of the world. It's hard to calculate the, uh, great advantages this will have on our society. I believe that they will be tremendous. Um, Uh, there's a lot of data and research as to why I believe that, but hopefully we can make this happen and we're doing our part to help establish that. So thebitcoinmyk.com along with Yang Gang, Andrew Yang, we hope will celebrate Martin Luther King's birthday and honor, uh, this great man and help to complete his dream for the future of America. That's all I want to say in this video. I hope you all have a great Martin Luther King birthday. Don't forget to join our project BitcoinNYK.com, our universal basic income project, uh, and until next time, take care of yourselves and each other.
