Welcome back to the channel. Hope you're having a great day. So want to talk today about the latest poll out of New Hampshire conducted by the University of New Hampshire, co-sponsored by CNN, that shows Andrew Yang polling at about 5%. This is a qualifying poll for the December debates. And so Andrew Yang, um, is qualifying in this poll. Now what's quite interesting is Joe Biden is not doing so well. In fact, he has dropped a tremendous lot, um, about 10 points. I believe he's down to 15%, pushing Sanders up to 21%, and Elizabeth Warren drops by a point. So she's at 18%. Um, Pete Buttigieg at 10%, and then there's this tie between, uh, what would be Tulsi, Amy Klobuchar, and, uh, Andrew at around 5%. Now what's also quite interesting about this is that Tulsi Gabbard has jumped from 1% to 5%. And a lot of people believe it's due to the situation with Hillary Clinton coming after her. And that's quite interesting. Um, you know, Hillary Clinton came after Tulsi. And so if her hope was to somehow, uh, knock Tulsi down, it's backfired tremendously. It's pushed Tulsi to her, uh, her best polling score so far, polling at 5%. And this certainly is going to put Tulsi in a situation to be a contender here. Now, I'm not surprised by Joe Biden. You know, we have been predicting quite some time now that Joe Biden, you know, was going to come down quite a bit and it's hitting them hard. Now, I'm not quite sure if it has anything to do with the situation with the Ukraine. if that's kind of pulling them down some. Um, also interesting enough, uh, it had been teased, um, I believe from Andrew Yang about working with Joe Biden, but, uh, Andrew cleared that up and said that he is seriously looking to win this thing. But him and Joe Biden spoke about, um, working together. Of course, we saw Joe Biden repeatedly speak and use terms like Andrew used, like Fourth Industrial Revolution, kind of out of the blue. So we could see that Joe Biden was latching on to Andrew's campaign. But what it's looking like from this, this tremendous drop, it's looking like Joe Biden is going to, you know, basically be coming down a lot. And when you start coming down like that, you know, it's kind of just like I think how we predicted it. That Andrew Yang's campaign was going to keep moving in a forward position, but it was going to be Joe Biden, uh, and many other candidates who start to slip down. That's happening with Elizabeth Warren, happening with Biden. But now, um, of course Bernie seems to be the person who came out on top, um, with the latest poll here, uh, at 21%. Uh, looking pretty good there. Um, you know, but the thing about Bernie Sanders, uh, you know, looking at Bernie Sanders and looking at his history and looking at his record, you know, I think that, um, Bernie has had an impressive record. I think he's done a lot of great things for the country, uh, fighting inequality his entire career. Bernie Sanders deserves honor and he deserves many things. And, but, you know, but the thing is with Bernie that I'm a, uh, that kind of concerns me about Bernie in this whole election thing is that, uh, um, when he sees a policy like Andrew Yang's putting out there, you know, these are, these are two candidates as far as I can see probably more on the same side than any other candidate out there. So they're very close together in their approach to how to deal with America, you know, with some differences. But the difference I see in Andrew Yang and Bernie Sanders, when I really look at these gentlemen, is I see Andrew Yang as the reluctant leader, right? And I see Bernie Sanders more as this person who you know, is pushing for to be president. And, um, you know, he, to me, he doesn't seem to be considering, uh, you know, other policies that might work in the best interest of the American people. You know, for instance, um, and one of Andrew Yang's latest interviews, when they were asking him about the Joe Biden situation, would you work with Joe Biden? You know, ultimately what Andrew Yang was saying was that you know, my, my entire direction is to help the American people to the best of their ability. And if that means that I'm not president but somebody else is helping the American people, I'm fine with that. You know, I didn't really seek to be president, right? And that, and that's, you know, when you think about that, just think about it. Who really wants to be the president of the United States, right? It's not like it's a job that pays a lot. It ages you, it puts you in trouble. Sure, you get to hear Hail to the Chief, but you know, it really isn't a job that successful rich people would necessarily want to do. Now, Donald Trump did it, and you know, he kind of got there on the idea of, uh, you know, doing it for the American people and caring about the American people. And I can't look into Donald Trump's heart and say that, uh, that that idea is somewhere not in there. But I think what's so confusing about Donald Trump and the whole situation is he has come off so badly as a narcissist, as an egomaniac. He's been that way his entire life that it, even if he is sincere, is very difficult for people to see it. Uh, whereas with Andrew Yang, I think it is, um, you know, it is very authentic. Very believable. And when he says he really wants the American people to come out okay in this, uh, I believe him. And, uh, I believe him a great deal. Now with Bernie, again, Bernie has done many good things all his life, but you know, I really think that Bernie should be open to other ideas because I feel a lot and I see a lot of resistance between Bernie and Andrew Yang's, uh, policy, whereas I think they should be very much so open to one another. In other words, right, I feel like Bernie Sanders and Andrew Yang should have a relationship similar to how he has with Marianne Williamson. And, uh, I just feel like it's a lot of resistance from Bernie Sanders to Andrew Yang's policies. I don't really know why, uh, Bernie Sanders would have an issue with Andrew Yang, not praise his, um, policies to a degree such as Marianne Williamson did with Andrew. You know, it is okay to find good ideas and good policies in the other candidates, uh, uh, you know, policies. And it's okay, but it just seems very resistant with Bernie Sanders. And he's on about this federal jobs guarantee, and it feels like to me Bernie Sanders just wants to win. Uh, and I'm a little bit concerned about that. Maybe I'm looking a little too deep into that with Bernie Sanders, but you know, um, I, I prefer the reluctant leader, right? And I prefer that. I prefer that guy who says, look, I'm doing this because nobody else is doing this. Nobody else identifies the problem. Uh, you know, I wish Bernie Sanders the best. Uh, you know, I, he's definitely done a lot of great things, but you know, at the end of the day, uh, Bernie Sanders having health problems, he's at an age where I personally believe that we might just start looking at an age limit on presidential candidates, right? And much like with driver's license and a variety of things, and that's not to be ageist or ageism, but there are reasons why when people reach a certain age, they're more susceptible to many more health issues and why we should be a little bit careful with that. And Bernie has had some scares on the trail. And so I just wonder if, you know, he, he should still even be out there. You know, personally, I don't think I would. I don't think it, you know, would— I would be. But, you know, uh, I just wish, you know, Bernie the best because I really do like Bernie Sanders. But, you know, just had to point out some things there. Um, want to also talk a little bit about independence, right? So I think at this point, you know, we look at all these various polls and what it comes down to is who's going to show up at the voting box. Right. And I really believe that everybody who's pulling for Yang, we can pretty much count on those people showing up at the, at the, at the voting box. Right. Uh, I believe it's going to happen. Um, but, um, and so in that way, I think Andrew is going to fare very well, whereas, uh, it's not necessarily that it's going to be the case with many of these other candidates. Right. And these polls are going to dwindle away as we get closer to to election time, right, to Election Day. Um, but looking at independents, right, let's really take a look at the independents who a lot of people are trying to get, you know, and, uh, which of these candidates can really draw independents, you know. Um, even if you look at Bernie, Bernie's been around since 2016, and you look at people like Bernie Sanders, look at people like Donald Trump, look at people like Elizabeth Warren, you look at people like Joe Biden, you know, are there really independents sitting on the fence for them? Uh, you know, a lot of these people are so extreme in their policies that I don't think it's going to be a lot of confusion about where these independents are going to go. Right. I can see independents going with somebody like Tulsi Gabbard or Andrew Yang. I don't know if at this point we're going to see a lot going with, uh, Sanders, although some stats do suggest that a lot of people are moving from, you know, people who wouldn't vote for Trump would vote for Sanders. So that's what it's suggesting. Although I can't really see it. I kind of, feel like Bernie Sanders has been around since 2016 and I just kind of feel like, and way before that, but I just kind of feel like people would have pretty much made up their mind about Bernie Sanders. But when you look at somebody like Andrew Yang, who's this very exciting new candidate, he's gonna shake up a lot of these independents to the point where I think they're gonna be able to pull something from Andrew Yang that, um, you know, that they can really side, get on the side of. And, uh, so Andrew Yang is definitely a good person to get independents. Uh, and whereas they are saying Bernie can do it too, I just don't know. Bernie to me has always kind of been, uh, you know, I, you know, Bernie Sanders supporters, you know, although I have heard it said now, uh, that, you know, you know, Trump supporters are, are considering voting for Biden, uh, or sorry, Bernie. But, uh, I certainly don't see it on a level like Andrew Yang or Tulsi Gabbard. So this is going to be interesting to see what happens with this. And, uh, but I think, uh, Andrew Yang's gonna keep pushing forward. You know, Buttigieg and Biden are going to be the next people he, he, he passes, he surpasses. And I don't think Elizabeth Warren is going to last long either. I think her drum is starting to count down. And so it looks like it's going to be, um, I'm looking at like Buttigieg, Andrew Yang, and Bernie Sanders. Now it's just kind of this, this kind of triumphant thing going on with them. And, um, you know, who's going to fall first? I don't— I, it's probably more likely going to be Pete Buttigieg. There's going to be down to Andrew and Bernie. Right. I don't think Joe Biden can get the nomination. Uh, I think it's going to be down now to Bernie and, um, Andrew. And this is going to be interesting to see, uh, you know, what was, you know, how this is going to play out. Um, but, uh, I think Andrew is going to pull it off. You know, I'm very, I'm still very optimistic. I don't usually get quite optimistic, but I'm starting to really, uh, confidently see Andrew Yang pulling this thing off. You know, and, uh, you know, a lot of people who even on the Republican side who don't want Trump in there, they're gonna, they're gonna vote for Andrew Yang if it comes down to it. Because remember, Andrew Yang is not for wealth tax either. So that's gonna pull a lot of support for Yang that it doesn't seem like he's out to punish, uh, people just for having money. Right. And wealth taxes, the way that it's being presented by Warren and how it's being presented by Sanders, um, you know, the way it's coming out, many world, you know, world-renowned economists are saying that they do not favor the view of, of the approach of Bernie Sanders and Elizabeth Warren on the wealth tax. This is something that Andrew Yang does not advocate. And so because of that, he's going to be able to pull people from against the aisle. He doesn't spend a lot of his time attacking candidates, right? He doesn't attack a candidate on the Democratic side, really. He doesn't attack, uh, you know, uh, in that way. He doesn't— he's not really making that the focal point of his campaign. So it's gonna be, you know, gonna be interesting to watch this. But those are kind of how I see this thing going.
