Hey you, welcome back to the channel. And guys, today we're gonna talk troubleshooting on BitTube, specifically with uploading your content. So I have been having some trouble uploading my content on BitTube, and I want to go over some things, some issues that were on my end and some on BitTube's end. Mostly on my end, like 90% of it was on my end, but I want to go over those things and hopefully it might cover some of your issues, or it might be of some help to you in some way, I hope. Because for me, I just couldn't figure it out. I didn't know what was going on, and now the problem is solved. So let's talk about that a little bit. Also, real quick, although I did solve the problem, I am now found over on bitTube, bitTube.com/tube Mikos. It's no longer under Mikos Inglewood. So if you're a watcher to my channel, I hope that you all will subscribe over here. This won't affect the contest. It won't affect any— that account's still active over there, but I will be uploading from this account, and I'm going to explain why that is and how that was part of some of the uploading issues. So let's get into that. So first, Many of you all probably remember early on that you could log, you could set up a BitTube account with a Facebook account. And so you could do this login, you can log in through Facebook and you can register with BitTube. That was changed later by BitTube. They took all of that out, which I think was a good idea. Unfortunately, although I'm not a technical person, One assumption now for me is that may have affected my account, and I'm gonna explain to you why that is. So during a lot of the upload issues and problems, what had came to my attention was that none of my videos were being uploaded, although they were saying they were successfully uploaded. So it was this kind of buggy thing going on, and I think that might have been related to accounts that were logged in through Facebook, and let me explain why I believe that is the case. The reason I think that that might have been the case is because after I couldn't upload videos on my main BitTube account, it came to my attention that, hey, maybe you need to try to start over. Maybe it's some kind of issue after the update. Try to set up a new account. So I do set up a new account and then I realized that I'm still unable to load videos, but this time it's telling me why I can't upload videos. And the reason I can't upload videos is it's saying that my videos aren't over the sufficient mark, which is 360p. So I go, hmm, that's strange. What the heck's going on? So I checked my recording software to find out that it's set below 360p, and that's the first part of the troubleshooting I want to ask you all to consider and look at. And that is that whatever means you're using to upload your video, whatever software you're using, make sure that your equipment is set to an efficient level to accept the video. It's just like mine went back to some type of default setting. I was unaware of it. And So I was able to correct that. Now, in my case, I say it was mostly on my end because it— which it was— was because with the Indie account I set up through Facebook with BitTube, I was getting no indications, no errors or anything like that to indicate to me that I was doing something wrong on my end. But I noticed when I set up a new account, every time I tried, it would give me an error message saying this video quality is insufficient. And so I was able to understand. Now here's a, here's a possibly another issue you might want to look at in the troubleshooting, and it's probably obvious, but if, if you're using a YouTube importer, you might want to stop using that and just go to direct uploads if that's a problem for you. And I know that's gonna be a problem for many of you, especially like me coming over from YouTube. It's a severe problem because I have so many videos I've done and it would be a lot easier to upload them. Unfortunately, it may still not work for me as a lot of those videos probably have been already uploaded over on YouTube at my default software recording level. And so what that means is they're probably not gonna work anyway unless I go through trouble trying to upgrade them some kind of way. And when I get done, it's probably not gonna be the trouble it's worth, you know, to go through all of these hundreds of videos. So the next thing I would suggest is not using the YouTube importer. Just trying to do manual uploads to get your content over. And I don't know exactly why. There have been some rumors that the YouTube importer, it might be kind of some bug type thing is going on. It could be from YouTube's end. I'm not sure if anyone knows exactly as of this time, but if you can't get videos uploaded anyway, I would definitely suggest just doing a manual upload. Upload. So definitely want to check your, your screen recording software, make sure it's up to par with the requirements to upload the videos. Also, you might not be able to use the YouTube importer if you're trying that. It doesn't always work, and it's probably going to be best to get away from that anyway and mostly do a lot of your uploads to BitTube, as going through third parties, it may not be ideal. Going forward into the future. And yeah, you may just find those are the issues that were plaguing me. You might, you know, try to reach out to BitTube support, and I want to tell you right now, these guys are working real hard. They're getting slammed with a lot of uploads daily, but from what I can see now, it's working at an optimal level. I have no problems at all at this point. So what that's telling me is that if you are having a problem, it probably more likely might be something on your end, just like it was on my end. So just check out those things, make sure you're set in that area. And I think that might possibly solve a lot of your problems. If you were one of these people who signed up with a Facebook account, it might be necessary to do what I did and either sign out of that account account or just start an entire new account, you know, not using that type of login situation or not using that account.
