A breakdown of the Black Panther teaser trailer. Ulysses Klaue opens discussing Wakanda's wealth, Erik Killmonger appears as the likely villain, and the Dora Milaje look sharp. The film seems to center on T'Challa facing an internal coup while other Avengers stay absent.
And guys, we got it! As I patiently awaited during the NBA Finals, we just got the Black Panther official teaser trailer, and it looks— oh man, guys, it looks great! It did not disappoint at all. Oh wow, it's just like, uh, so much was going on. Uh, we can, we can pretty much see that, uh, T'Challa had returned to Wakanda as his king. But in the trailer, we got this awesome opening scene of, uh, Ulysses Klaue, and he's talking about, uh, you know, how Wakanda, uh, is this rich, uh, advanced civilization As he's speaking with this gentleman, I'm not sure who this gentleman is, this character who he's speaking to is going to be, but it's clear that nobody has ventured into Wakanda. Klaue is one of the only people who has actually seen Wakanda and tried to go in and actually fight inside Wakanda. Leading a small band of rebels, you know, according to the comic books. So it just looked great. We got to see what appears to be Erik Killmonger. We know him to be the arch nemesis of the Black Panther. Erik Killmonger, you know, his story goes according to the comic books, he had been exiled to the Americas from Wakanda because his father had actually sought to overthrow the Wakandan government along with the mercenary force Ulysses Klaue. And everything looks great. We got to see the Dora Milaje and some interesting combat scenes with them. And I mean, guys, these The way Wakanda looks, the cinematography, everything looks spot on. It looks awesome, guys. I mean, it just looks fantastic. Uh, you know, I don't know, guys, this might turn out to be one of my favorite Marvel films of all time. Uh, it just looks really good, and I'm really excited about what we're gonna get, uh, with the Black Panther. Didn't, didn't see any other, uh, stuff going on in there. Like, uh, didn't see, uh like anything happening with the other Avengers or Captain America or anything like that. So, you know, just, you know, it looks like T'Challa is going to be dealing with the politics of Wakanda, you know, when in dealing with these invasion forces with Ulysses Klaue trying to get inside Wakanda and with Erik Killmonger, you know, who's you know, basically, you know, going to— looks like probably gonna lead a coup against Wakanda, just the way it looks to be set up. He is looking like he's gonna be the main villain. I love what they've done with his hair, kind of, you know, you know, I'm just— I just loved everything about the— just loved everything about the trailer. And guys, I would have loved to done a reaction video on this trailer, but But, uh, you know, YouTube's very iffy about, uh, using trailer content and things like that. And, uh, uh, you know, so, uh, you know, uh, I don't want to get any strikes against the account, uh, but we'll be, you know, going back and, and trying to, trying to do a scene-by-scene analysis a little bit later. Uh, just wanted to put out there just how excited I was about this trailer. Guys, it looks awesome. Can't wait to February 2018. Guys, let me know if you all like this trailer and if you're excited as I am about the Black Panther movie that's coming out. Guys, if you like content like this, don't forget to like and subscribe. And until next time, take care.
