BTCMYK - It's Time Social Media Paid You!

In this video, the host argues that the massive amount of time users spend on social media should be compensated directly by the platforms, rather than only rewarding a small subset of creators who meet high follower or watch‑time thresholds. He outlines existing profit‑sharing ideas—pay‑per‑like, pay‑per‑minute, and monthly stipends—and then presents BitcoinMYK (BTCMYK) as an amalgam of these concepts. BitcoinMYK claims to pay users instantly for any engagement (likes given or received, page visits, etc.) through a native token (BTCNYK) that can be converted to other cryptocurrencies or fiat. The platform is positioned as a free, 30‑second sign‑up service that provides a universal basic‑income‑style monthly stipend to every active account, eliminating the need for creators to reach any qualification. The host links this model to broader societal concerns about automation displacing jobs, arguing that a universal income derived from social‑media profit sharing could serve as a contingency plan. He demonstrates his wallet showing BTCNYK balances, invites viewers to join the BitcoinMYK site, and encourages subscription for future content.

Welcome back to the channel. I hope you're having a great evening, great Sunday evening, uh, coming off of the Fourth of July holiday. Uh, for those of y'all who celebrated, uh, I hope it was a good one. Uh, hearing stories that Some people just kind of didn't do much of anything. Uh, not sure why that is. Is there some type of financial reason as to why that is? I don't know, but getting a lot of messages that, uh, there was very little activity going around, you know. Uh, and, uh, hopefully that wasn't the reasons why. Today we're going to talk about time that social media paid you, right? That is time social media paid you. So there are certain social media models out there where people engage in social media, they earn money. Many of us know that. Many of us know that people make money from whether it's TikTok or Instagram or Facebook and YouTube, typically what happens to, to be able to generate income, there is a certain set of requirements that one has to surpass. That might come down to subscribers, that might come down to the engagement, the watch time hours, right? And that means if you don't reach that pinnacle, then you can't earn anything. And some people just Um, you know, even though they're spending a great amount of time on social media, you know, they're saying that, uh, social media is a highly addictive, uh, situation for many people now. And, uh, people are spending many hours per week, you know, on social media. And, you know, obviously the problem with that is that It can be, uh, cause problems for your healthy lifestyle of going out and engaging with people publicly. It can be expensive and costly because that's time you can be maybe earning money or doing something elsewhere, and these social media companies are usurping all that time away from you. Right? So it's led many of us to come up with the, uh, idea that, damn, what it should be is it should be that social media companies pay you for your time. It's time you were paid for your social media engagement and activity. And when I say it's time that you were paid Right? I don't mean like you go out and you become a content creator, or you go out and you become a, you know, some type of YouTuber, or, you know, you go out and you get this expensive studio and you do all these things. That's not what I'm talking about. I'm talking about a situation where social media companies are finding so many ways to monetize your data, to monetize the time you spend on there, your activity. To the point, right, where you showing up on social media, just being part of that network, should give you value, should give you earnings, right? And so, uh, some people propose ideas like whether it be profit sharing, right? You have proposals from profit sharing. You have proposals of, um, uh, whether it be something like, you know, every time you get a like or you give somebody a like, you get paid. You have proposals like the amount of time you spend on social media, you get paid. And so it kind of goes into this kind of profit-sharing model, right? And there have been many ideas about how one can do things like that, right? So what we're proposing at BitcoinMYK is what we're basically saying is we kind of have an amalgam of all those models where you can come in and when you like posts you earn money, when people like your posts you both earn money, right? We have a situation where just by being part of the network you earn so much money like a profit sharing model. We have it to where every month you log in you get the same amount of money stipend, uh, that some might refer to as a universal basic income, a basic income, a guaranteed income, uh, a universal resource inheritance credit, uh, it can fall— a dividend, right? Fall on many names. But the bottom line is there should be, uh, earnings from your social media engagement. I guess the, the other part about BitcoinMYK which would be different is that unlike the other social networks where you would have to basically reach a certain threshold, whether it be followers or subscribers, you got to qualify. With this, your participation alone qualifies you for earning money, so you don't have to do anything. The system is 100% free. You just set up an account, takes about 30 seconds, absolutely free. Um, and once you do that, you're off to start earning just from your activity, uh, on the network, right? So all very interesting stuff to consider. One thing for sure though, one thing that has become clear to many of us, especially in this climate is that everything we do, especially when it comes to businesses, companies, cooperations, and so on, everything that we do, oh, we're in a state of affairs where we need to be earning and generating value and sharing in the resources of the planet. We need to be doing this because we're moving into a into an age of automation that is either going to be one of the best things ever happened to us, or it might end up being one of the most catastrophic things that ever happened to us. Whichever side of the road you fall on, what is clear is that there needs to be a contingency plan in case things go wrong, right? As to say We can't afford to be wrong about automation and not being able to go out there and get jobs because machines have taken all your jobs. As to say, there's this funny idea that machines are going to be doing all the jobs, we're going to be home on social media, we're going to be playing games, we're going to be doing entertainment-based things, like whether it be being a Zumba instructor or something like that. There's, there's not going to be any, whether it be white-collar jobs or blue-collar jobs, that are going to need to be performed by a human. And as businesses' models are all profit-based, there will be no need to hire humans over machines because machines will be the cheaper yet most profitable outcome, right? Situation. Businesses don't work to, to gain profits, uh, based on putting humans ahead of profits. We live in a model today where profits unfortunately will end up going against humans. There are laws that say corporations, uh, their fiduciary responsibility is to make the shareholders as much profits as they can. And in many events, that's going to mean not hiring humans in place of robots, right? So in short, that could mean if we do live in a world where it's going to be that you profit share in all of these various businesses, that you don't actually go to work, that you own the social media companies, that you profit share in all the revenues coming through and all the value that's circulating, right? In those set of events, then what we're going to have, we're going to end up having, is we're going to have a, um, a situation where models like this might need to be put into place, right? So Bitcoin MYK is one of those models, right? I hit the like button. Um, it— the value goes into, um, a wallet, right? And, uh, just, you know, making friends, viewing, uh, other members' pages, and so on and so forth. As you can see right here, as I go into my wallet, I'm actually earning money, right? These BTCNYK dollars, right, that can be traded for various dollars, whether it be, uh, you know, uh, cryptocurrencies, uh, and moving on to US dollars and so on, right? Uh, that's what's happening here with these models, right? So are you earning money on your social media activities? And if, if not, why aren't you earning money? And, uh, what are your thoughts about moving to a model where everything you do on the internet is paying you to be there, because I think that's a fantastic idea. And, uh, if you agree with that, make sure you subscribe to the channel as there will be more content related to that coming. Uh, you can join the Bitcoin NYC site, which is going to do all those things mentioned in the video. Link should be available in the description. And as always, take care of yourselves and each other.
