Coinbase Customers - Have Not Received Bitcoin SV Tokens/ New Bitcoin Fork

Coinbase hasn't delivered Bitcoin SV tokens to users seven weeks after the fork, while other exchanges already did. The host claimed his BSV on Bittrex and sold it around $200, then promotes his own fork, BitcoinNYK, which lets users claim tokens without penalties.

Hey you, welcome back to the channel. And guys, today we want to talk about, uh, Coinbase and how the Bitcoin Satoshi Vision fork was handled. Um, a lot of people disappointed with the, uh, Coinbase's handling of the fork to date. Uh, they are not able to, um gain access to their Bitcoin Satoshi Vision coins, uh, whereas most other coins have— or I'm sorry, exchanges, um, were able to, uh, get everyone who participated in the fork or who were eligible to receive Bitcoin Satoshi Vision coins received their coins no problem. And so after 7 weeks, people still haven't received their coins. And so it just seems like a lot of my news coming out of Coinbase camp has not been well received, has, it hasn't been good news rather. And I just report the news. I would much rather report good news Uh, now Coinbase, uh, there have been going around a lot of, uh, concerns about how they would list coins and many conspiracy theories, many concerns, um, about how they would do that. And many of us were under the impression that it would be done, uh, deal, you know, dealing with either tokens that maybe weren't securities, or if they were securities, that they were compliant with local laws and the laws of their lands. And we thought that Coinbase would work in that route. Some new information was released from Coinbase, or at least I was able to find it, that it seems that they're targeting ERC-20 tokens apparently those tokens were a little bit easier to integrate with their system. And so that's why many of the ERC-20 tokens were being— I guess the idea was for them to be listed first, or I guess that's probably what the idea was. But now in recent news, Bitcoin Satoshi Vision holders As this user repeatedly requested his Bitcoin Satoshi Vision, he was stonewalled by Coinbase. And the problem with this is that I participated in the fork. I was able to not only get my Bitcoin SV tokens right away, I got mines on Bittrex, and I was able to sell when it was over $200. Around that rate. It was in that ballpark somewhere. And so while I profited pretty good, I did pretty good with Bitcoin Satoshi Vision, you know, despite the fact that many people do not like Craig Wright. Apparently there has been a split in the, you know, in the camp. Some people support Bitcoin Satoshi Vision and some people, you know, obviously support Bitcoin Cash. And some people feel like the fork was never necessary because they're essentially the same thing. There's no need for both to exist, yet they do. But whatever the case is, there seemingly was no reason for no exchange to be able to handle this. I think at this point in time, every exchange was able to handle the Bitcoin Satoshi Vision fork with no problem. For the most part, and yet Coinbase is still, uh, not able to, um, uh, fix this issue. So, um, you know, for the Bitcoin Satoshi Vision coin holders waiting on it, waiting to receive their coins, um, I regret that you weren't able to be able to really benefit from the fork. You know, it's very important during a fork that if you really want to benefit from a fork, that you get your tokens right away. And liquidating them at the right time might be the best thing to do. Now, not saying that, you know, that's the idea to always sell fork tokens. My project BitcoinNYK, we're a fork of Bitcoin. And so, you know, the bottom line is whether people sell our tokens or not, we give everybody the opportunity and time to get them and do as they wish with them. And what I want to say to Bitcoin Satoshi Vision holders at this point in time is that you have an opportunity now to participate with our FortBitcoinNYK. Get in at a time where everybody's getting in and you won't be left behind and lose value in the token. if necessary, you know, and, you know, or if the value starts to go down, rather, you can, you know, you can take advantage of that or hold it or, but whatever you decide, it'll be your choice. So we just want to make that known that we will handle our fork for everybody who holds Bitcoin the same way, or rather, in a good way and efficiently. So, uh, you do have to hold Bitcoin, but we do also have tokens that aren't claimed in a certain time. There's a penalty, and you're able to go over to the site and claim them as well. But guys, anyway, I just want to bring you that news. Um, hopefully Coinbase will get this resolved.
