Dtube - Review

Hey you, welcome back to the channel. And guys, today we're going to review, uh, DTube, um, and this is a decentralized video hosting service. Uh, videos put up, they can't be taken down, all the good things that go with decentralized platforms. And you can see it kind of resembles, uh YouTube a little bit. And if you're on Steemit, you know, of course now you don't have to rely on, you know, outside video hosting services to upload your videos. You can upload them directly through DTube, and you know, it's already shown on the Steemit platform, you know. And as you can see that these, these videos that are uploaded, they're being voted up on Steemit Network. So pretty good, pretty cool stuff, exciting stuff. I was waiting for Steemit to have something like this, especially if you use YouTube a lot. This is a good option for YouTube. Users who come over to Steemit. And what I really liked about it, the experience so far with DTube has been very good. It's been a quick upload, smooth, no problems. And I like that I was able to get my, some of my videos up here, no problem at all. And I think that's, I think that's awesome. So You know, basically a good situation here. And you, as you can see, a lot of the normal Steemit guys are now using DTube, you know. So I think we're gonna get a lot of people uploading directly to DTube. And also, of course, you're gonna make a lot more money uploading your videos to, to stream it as opposed to YouTube. So that's, you know, pretty awesome stuff. There are some negatives about DTube, some things I'm a bit concerned about. There are some, you know, videos that, you know, get uploaded on DTube that are owned by other people, and if that happens, you know, it's probably hard, you know, for people who are uploading plagiarized material and various things like that. So hopefully those videos will get flagged down and, uh, right, you know, that, that can be stopped, uh, you know, because people who put out content put out their hard work, you know, obviously they don't want it to be misused and used improperly and by the wrong people. Uh, so that's one concern about a decentralized video hosting site. But so far, guys, so good. I, I, I, I, you know, I really like what I'm seeing here with DTube. Like I said, it's very, uh, it's very simple to use. Right up here is the upload button. Just hit upload. You can upload your videos directly to DTube. Once you do that, uh, it's, uh, it begins to show on the Steemit.com site, and you can, um, you you know, start to get upvotes on that video. You don't have to do anything else. So I thought that was awesome as well. Guys, if you're using DTube, let me know what you think about DTube so far. I like it. Don't forget to follow me on Steemit. Don't forget to like and subscribe. And guys, until next time, take care.
