Electroneum - Reputation/Chris Gorman

Hey you, welcome back to the channel. And guys, today we want to talk about reputation in a coin, in a company, and we want to talk about Chris Gorman, the director of Electroneum. So guys, um, it's been, um, uh, I think this might be my second video of the week or so. It seems kind of not putting out as many videos as normal. And generally when the markets are not going the way we want and when it's kind of quiet, that's when I like to do the most of my talking because I feel like that's when people are doing less. So surprisingly, I've cut back a bit, but it's not so much to do with the market. I have a side project I'm working on. I have to stay active with something. I have a busy mind. And so if you've been watching the channel, you probably already know what that is. But have to get in my Electroneum videos all the same. So, so this is going to be the second one for the week. I'm not sure, I have to check, I have to check, but I'm going to keep trying to keep them coming to you guys as much as possible. But that's why you might see a slight reduction in the Electroneum videos. Nothing to do with the market, just trying to, you know, schedule my time properly so I can get a lot done as I take on more and more projects. But I want to discuss the importance of reputation in a coin and what Chris Gorman is to Electroneum. Many of you have probably recently seen an all-star cast panel interview and discussion with Chris Gorman, and it was put on, looks like, by All About Tech, Sean Dave's Crypto for the People, all the great, all the, all the great superstars that bring us the great Electroneum news. And so they got, they got to speak with Mr. Chris Gorman, and right off you could see that he was just so high energy, and that excited me a lot. I was glad to see that because I could pick up the excitement in this gentleman. Uh, speaking of which, gentlemen, he's a literal gentleman, um, as in he's what they term OBE, an Officer of the British Empire. And he got that rank and award, um, in business, I believe. Now, as far as the, uh, the British, uh, political system goes in that regard, Uh, I have a little experience with it. Uh, uh, my uncle was a part of a Commonwealth country where he, uh, was a member of their parliament, and it worked on a very similar system to the British, uh, parliament, um, you know, things. And so I got to learn a little bit about how that works and, uh, some things about the peerage system and various things like that. So, uh, Basically, he's a, he's a gentleman of the, of the English court, um, and, uh, you know, just a fascinating person, uh, I would say a person of reputation that can be assessed and verified. And so let's, let's talk about that a little bit here. You know, I, I have heard countless times people put Electroneum in the same sentence as a scam coin, and this is very confusing to me because, um, you know, a lot of these coins and tokens that are talking, I don't even— their team I've never heard of them. I don't know anything about these people, and, and, uh, they want us to give, give us their money. And, uh, I haven't verified these people. I don't know a lot what they've done in their careers. All I know is what they jot on their websites. But with someone like Chris Gorbin, it's worldwide, right? He's been actually awarded by the Queen. And some people might say, well, yeah, that doesn't have anything to do— he could still— they could still be scammers. But hey, wait a minute, what makes more sense? It makes more sense to me that a, a gentleman of the English court would align himself with the proper atmosphere and the proper association than people I never heard of that say they were a developer who went to school in some college I never heard of. Um, and so the bottom line, guys, is that when you see the proper people affiliated with a project, especially on this caliber, that's a very good sign that you're in a good token. And so, uh, it also shows me that people who speak ill of Electroneum haven't done their research, right? They clearly haven't, and they continue on anyway, ill-informed, misinformed, uninformed, uh, down this path. So if a coin, uh, exists in our ecosystem, what type of people should be affiliated with their coins, right? If If people like Chris Gorman aren't the proper people, then who is? Um, just so— it's very, just very exciting to watch the high energy of Chris Gorman. I can't help but saying it again. I mean, his energy was so high that, uh, he pretty much just took over that entire podcast, didn't he? They were speechless, weren't they? Uh, and that's a great thing, guys. I love to see that. I, I love to see, you know, you know, in comparison to Chris Gorman and Richard Ailes, what I find with Richard is he's very attentive, right? He listens carefully and he answers questions carefully, but he's, he's kind of reserved, right? And that, that's a, that's a good thing too, to a degree, right? But maybe not all the time when you're the man at the helm, because like you're the guy we're looking to for all the answers. Now I love Richard, uh, but he might can take a page out of Chris Gorham's book. I, I don't want to pry information out of you. I want you to jump out and be excited and full of energy. Like you just can't help but give me everything I'm dying to hear and hoping to hear. Like Chris Gorman does. Uh, Chris Gorman just goes on and on. I love the guys. That's what I want to— I want to see somebody who's happy in their position, somebody who's happy to be a part and want to work and has the energy. Also, he has done, uh, put together 40, 50 deals, big deals. So, you know, he's, he's, he's this person and he has a a past too of being a multi-millionaire running other successful companies. So this, this guy obviously has the credentials, uh, very impressive credentials at that. So, uh, I was very excited to see him there, uh, and, uh, reputation, guys, is everything to your token and your coin, but that also involves having the right people in association with your token and coin. People who have done great things that can really help and bring the token where we want it to be. And unfortunately, some of these tokens that go around and have the most to say about Electroneum and it not being a proper coin, or that it being a scam coin, many of them I don't think are in a position to say anything like that.
