Electroneum jumped 62.51% this week. The presenter explains the difference between a pump and buying at a discount, then argues the coin's $3 trillion addressable market and major partnerships may justify the surge rather than it being pure speculation.

Hey you, welcome back to the channel. And guys, today I want to talk about the gains of Electroneum, uh, for the week. Um, you know, of course we can see that Electroneum is selling on, and, um, I think it's great too because I just remember speaking with some people about a week ago and, uh, they were saying they were going to pick up some more Electroneum. And I said, well, you know what, I always pick up a little Electroneum here and there. So I did happen to pick up a little bit more about last week. And after I was checking out here the gains for the week, we can see it's up 62.51%, which is great. That's awesome. Um, and so some people, you know, are wondering, some people are even asking, should they pick up some more? Is this a good time to pick up some more? So before I answer that question, and I think a lot of you deep down know what my answer probably is, but I, I thought it was important to, um, talk to you all about a topic I think is very important, and that's understanding the difference between buying at discount, uh, the difference between buying at a premium, and the, and the difference in what a pump is, you know, when you're pumping up the value of something. And so I probably should have did this as a standalone video, and I probably will in the future. But I just want to touch on some of what, you know, what that's all about in this video, because I think it's important, especially when people ask questions about if they should buy, you know, especially when the market starts to move in your favor. And everybody's starting to see this thing move and they want to jump on. And so, so let's, let's first quickly just get some definitions here. When we're talking about a premium, we're generally talking about a market that is already overpriced in a way, right? It's, you're buying at the high, you know, the old saying that you buy red, you sell green. So buying at a premium would be the opposite of that, right? And buying at a discount is when you think the market is undervalued, right? And so you're getting in. And a pump is generally— a pump is just you don't care if people are buying at discount or premium, you know? You just want to keep buying to no end so you can make as much money as you as you can. So that's what some of the differences are. Sometimes buying at premium and pump, and a pump can almost feel synonymous. I don't think it is synonymous because I think buying at a premium, you could just be a speculator, right? You're just like, you know, some people trade no logic to the reason, right? You know, they just, because the market is part psychological, right? Uh, and so because the market is part psychological, there are components about the market we'll never clearly understand because people are complicated and what makes people do certain things, uh, don't always follow a logical pattern, right? And so we'll probably never be able to figure that out. I don't know if a computer could figure that out. I don't know if we could, you know, of course we use charts and graphs and technical analysis, but And sometimes it does work to a degree, but obviously it's never been perfected to the point where anybody could really boast about it or really say they got a handle on things. Um, and so the reason I think this is very important, because when we really start to see Electroneum take off and a lot of us are starting to just jump in and in and buy and buy and buy, I think it's important that we understand that certain aspects of that shouldn't be considered a pump, especially if you believe the product is undervalued. And there are components that go into that, you know, obviously, like, you know, market cap, overall market cap. And when I say overall market cap, you know, obviously I'm talking about the entire cryptocurrency market. If you if there's not an entire lot of money in a cryptocurrency market, um, you know, it probably will start to resemble a pump or feel like a pump. Uh, so you have to be mindful of the atmosphere, what's going on in the market. Now, that's not to say that I don't believe that there could be introduction of new money into a token specifically, and that drives the price up of that token. But there would have to precede that some type of blueprint or good plan that's not just being talked about, but pretty, you know, pretty much has been executed or is being used or something like that, you know. Then I think it makes sense because some coins— the next coin I'm going to talk about might be guilty of that in my next upcoming video. But some, you know, we got some coins where the people constantly constantly just talk about things and, um, uh, and that drives the price up. And there doesn't have to be the direct result of the action related and various things like that. So there's several things that goes on with that. And I'm like I said, I might do a future video that kind of goes a little bit more in depth about, uh, these situations that happen in the market and, uh, when you're buying and why you're buying and what the difference is between if it's just being pumped up or if it's really holding value. Now, when you're talking about something like Electroneum that's going to be tapping into a $3 trillion market, that's doing huge partnerships, you know, it's going to be many reasons why many of us will find it undervalued and reason to invest more into it. So, so that's a, that's another story. But guys, that's, that's all I want to say in this particular video. I hope that you did buy some last week as well as I know a lot of people have. And you know, like I said, 62.51% for the, for the week is excellent return. I don't know too many opportunities like you're gonna get like that with a coin like this and in this, this market, these market conditions we're under right now. But anyway guys, that's all I want to say. Don't forget about our $2,500 Electroneum contest. That will end on the 27th. That's 2,500 Bitcoin months, and what a good time to receive them. Uh, people have been signing up, but I, I can tell you this, uh, this is completely random, uh, and so if you haven't signed up or joined yet, it's not too late. Uh, it's very easy, you just go on our website and fill out some minor, some minor, very minor details, and you can, you got a chance, uh, as good a chance as anybody of winning this $2,500. Um, And that's about it, guys. If you like content like this, don't forget to like and subscribe. And until next time, take care.
