Electroneum Vs Bit-Tube

Electroneum targets unbanked mobile users with instant payments, while BitTube offers a decentralized YouTube alternative. Electroneum has broader potential but weak marketing; BitTube has technical issues and low liquidity. The host sees Electroneum as closer to crypto's original promise of global money, though both projects could complement each other.

Hey you, welcome back to the channel. And guys, you, as you can tell by the title of the video, this video today is going to be Electronium versus BitTube. So kind of sounded inevitable that it would eventually, uh, come to the point where these two, what I think to be Awesome Coins, uh, with me to comparison. Um, a few weeks ago we had this interesting competition over at Twitter. Quite a bit of controversy, quite a bit of, um, poor sportsmanship, uh, some hurt feelings and some corruption there. And, and just, you know, all these things that were happening during this, this competition. And BitTube wasn't part of it. BitTube, new out the box, only going about 3 or 4 months now. And if you're like me, you didn't even know what it was. You had never heard of it. But BitTube has impressed me a lot. The concept behind it, the idea behind it, um, has really got me excited about it. So I want to do some comparisons today. I want to kind of go back in time and look at had Bit2 been in the competition, um, and Electroneum, you know, would it have been a little bit different? Would my emotions been a little bit, um, You know, bothered by these two great tokens that I like going head-to-head. And so we're gonna talk about that a little bit today. We're gonna compare BitTube and Electroneum. We're gonna look at these, these two, these two tokens and try to see where one shines where the other maybe doesn't shine, and their futures, and, uh, you know, maybe, uh, talk about how, you know, what's going to happen, uh, with these two tokens. So let's, uh, let's start with, of course, uh, what has been the most impressive token, uh, that I've seen in cryptocurrency, and that's Electroneum. Electroneum got it from the beginning. They went after the mobile device market, which most people use. They went after the unbanked, which has the greatest use case I've seen in cryptocurrency to date. And they created this instant payment processor that addresses the issue of making payments with cryptocurrency, uh, in an efficient way. So those are huge, huge things. Over 200 million people involved. Um, and so, uh, you know, Electroneum, uh, how can, how can you not see that that solves most of cryptocurrency's issues and, you know, see that this coin has a bright future. Seems like a no-brainer, but we know that Electroneum hasn't really affected the cryptocurrency market like it's affected many of us, right? Cryptocurrency market continues on with the worst marketing, you know, one could ever, you know, in any product could see. And, you know, I'm not gonna talk about the marketing right now. Now I want to contrast it a bit to what— and what's BitTube doing? What's its shining points? So BitTube has this very easy user interface that we're all familiar with. It looks like YouTube. So, um, that's great for dealing with, uh, mass adoption because it already has over 2 million users. So, um, the way it's set up as a video hosting site, gonna reach a lot of people, uh, it's gonna want to, uh, have a large amount of viewers So it's very easy. That's, that's right. That's straight off the point. It's easy for people who don't know a whole lot about crypto but want to get involved in it. BitTube also addresses censorship, you know, censorship being a huge deal these last few years, especially related to one of the biggest uh, websites, social media sites, platforms in the world. I think the second largest, uh, social media site in the world, YouTube. Billions upon billions of views. Uh, but as we got to see in recent times, uh, big, uh, content creators like Alex Jones has been kicked out of there. You know, PewDiePie, he's been, you know, under the gun several times. Some of his content maybe has created problems in YouTube from censorship and various things like that, and the list goes on. So right there, BitTube does a great job of solving the problem of censorship as a decentralized video hosting platform. You can have all of these people who have this other option that they didn't have before using, using BitTube. So that's, that's very big, guys, because a lot of people use YouTube. And imagine if a percentage of them— doesn't have to be a big percentage because YouTube's so huge— but a great deal of them migrate to something like BitTube. And you're going to have a great coin there, and a coin that makes it very easy for people to get into the cryptocurrencies. So, so both of these, both of these coins are addressing some major, major issues in cryptocurrency. And you know, that's, that's, that's gonna That's what's going to be very important with the future of the cryptocurrency space. And that's why I love these tokens so much, because I can't see other tokens doing that. If you were to bring me a token and I were to question about what are steps that are being taken to market these tokens to make them more user-friendly to the average person, remember These are— you— everybody's not a tech guru, right? People want easy. They just want to, uh, go on their social media site, do what they got to do, and leave. You know, they don't care about, um, scaling up. They don't care about how long it took for you to work on a blockchain and to build this or build that. The average person does not care about what type of technology you have on your system. They just do not. They, if they can use it, it serves their needs. That's all they're concerned about. All right. So, um, you know, in saying that, um, You know, these other tokens to me do a bad job of looking at the crypto space in relation to the, the, the average user and, and, and doing something about it, you know, addressing that concern. So, um, let's— we've seen some of the positive things between BitTube and Electroneum. Now Let's look at the bad things about both of these tokens, and then at the end we're going to try to tally them up together and, and, and see, uh, which one kind of comes out on top. So what's bad about Electroneum? Um, well, what's— what, what I see is kind of bad with Electroneum right now is As Electroneum, its first direction is the unbanked, uh, and their first direction is the, um, uh, people who are in, you know, I'm thinking of lands where people, you know, don't have, uh, maybe good, uh, currency system, good banking system, good economy, right? So their target is to those people, to that group. Now that's a specific demographic, so that doesn't— that may not attract people who aren't in those areas, right? A person, you know, if you're in the West or if you're in a, in a pretty wealthy country or something like that, You know, that, that might not be something that you can kind of hone in on and be able to relate that to what's going on with your situation and your particular use case of cryptocurrency. You may not identify with that write-off, and so that won't really grab in the the, um, you know, some people in the cryptocurrency communities, um, it may just not click with them because of that. Um, what else? Electronium, um, as a blockchain, is it a great blockchain? As a blockchain, uh, Electronium is probably, uh, not the best in that area, you know. In fact, Electronium probably is far inferior to many other blockchains, um, you know, as far as sending, you know, payments and various things like that. Um, what else, uh, I find bad about Electroneum or negative? Uh, this is just maybe a personal pet peeve of mine, uh, the marketing, the way they've been doing this thing. The use of social media or the non-use of social media and the time it's taken to put together these marketing deals. Um, you know, me personally, I think that's a negative. I think time frames are important when you're dealing with technology and business. I always compare this to when the United States had a race against the Soviet Union to put a man on the moon. You know, the United States did not go, well, our hope is we need to get these rockets working properly. After we get these rockets working properly, We're going to get the astronauts to the moon and we want to make sure these rockets are working back and then we're going to get them back to Earth. Unfortunately, a lot of people were dying getting to the moon, blowing up in rockets and various things like that, them trying to, you know, win this race. So I kind of personally see that as a negative against Electronium and I think that's about it as far as the negatives on Electroneer. Let's go over some of the negatives with BitTube I'm seeing. Some of the negatives I'm seeing with BitTube is, well, it's new and it's not exactly the first out the gate in the video hosting community. You got DTube, you got DLive over on Steemit that's doing pretty well in that area. They're using Steam, which is a very valuable token. It's a very active platform. And so, you know, they have to, they're gonna have to deal with all this video hosting competition. That's one thing. What else is negative about it? Well, the next thing I would say is that BitTube has the same problem as most video hosting sites, right? And we're gonna— right now the technology is looking— it's hit and miss with viewing videos, with uploading. And I can only imagine a lot of this is happening due to large amounts of people coming over to BitTube now, now uploading, and the community's growing larger. But, you know, this kind of technology is problematic in the decentralized hosting space. It's hard to watch a video, it's hard to upload content, and that can try the patience of a lot of people. And it might kind of cause a problem of people not wanting to use the technology until it gets better. And so that's a problem. What else? They haven't ICO'd yet. The volume's quite low at this point in time. And, you know, so you're going to see a lot of volatility volatility and shifts in the price and various things like that. And that might be offsetting to some people. Ah, what else? What else can I come up with here about BitTube's negatives? Well, that's about it. So now let's try to compare them both together and see who comes out on top with all those things mentioned, the good, the the good part versus the negatives. Um, so in the cryptocurrency space, I'm going to say, especially when you're dealing with a coin, I'm gonna say initially I'm looking at the utility capabilities of that token, of that coin. I'm looking at how you can move it, how you can spend it. Um, and, uh, I'm looking at how well it's going to distribute, um, uh, opportunity and distribute, um, uh, capabilities to people who don't have them, because that's kind of really the purpose of controlling your money, um, to— for the people to control it and move it as various things like that. So when I, when I look at the kind of like the ultimate purpose of what cryptocurrency was about, I find that your token needs to do that. And in comparison with Electroneum to BitTube right now, Electroneum definitely does a better job of that because I can see Electroneum after the after the campaign in the East, you know, getting all these unbanked people to join in and various things like that. I can see it attracting attention then from the West, and then I can see Electroneum sort of being this token that's a spendable token, right? Because they got ideas about how not only use the instant payment processor but actually how to kind of maybe have a setup, uh, where they're kind of inter, uh, uh, trading the Electroneum token, kind of like what you get with exchanges where, uh, they can move money from account to account within the Electroneum ecosystem. They don't have the problems of, um, the blockchains, you know, um, being, um, over, overrun, um, and crowded, Right? So Electroneum solves all that. Whereas BitTube token, I see BitTube as a good token for serving a particular purpose in dealing with privacy, or I'm sorry, censorship, dealing with how media is controlled and released to us. And to me, those are just significant different things. I think it's going to be great to an audience of content creators, sort of like what you get with Steemit, and great to viewers as, as this social media site where it's very participatory, right? And so I see BitTube as a type of great idea for a business or company that does well in their particular area and But I see Electroneum as a global, uh, coin that can do, you know, what initially I thought Bitcoin would do, you know, or should, should have done. And I think Electroneum will kind of fulfill a lot of some of the elements and ideas I thought Bitcoin, you know, which would be protecting our money, giving the money back to the people, and then being able to move this money efficiently, uh, to where it's, um to the point where it's usable, it's convenient to use, it's practical to use. You know, it's not like a situation where, you know, it's costly to use and then you got to deal with vendors who aren't there and then the vendors have to wait on their— to receive their tokens and various things like that. So I don't see BitTube as that, but I do see BitTube as a great way to bring people into the cryptocurrency space, right? But also Electroneum does that as well. So that, that, so in that, in that particular situation, that's why Electroneum wins, you know. Electroneum wins because Electroneum is kind of the, it's kind of the be-all end-all token for me, right? Right? It has elements of all of those things where BitTube at this point has some elements. And so that's awesome. But working together, you know, I still think that these tokens work well together. And so I think that's awesome as well. But guys, that's all I want to say in this video about Electroneum versus BitTube. Electroneum would still win in my opinion, but I'm very excited about BitTube, and I see good things in the future for BitTube and some good opportunities for you all. Guys, don't forget to go over there. Speaking of BitTube, subscribe to my channel. Over 100 videos uploaded over there now. Binge watch them. Hey, I don't care, you guys watch them all over there. And, uh, um, and, um, Electroneum. Or I almost forgot to mention, I didn't make a video yesterday and that's why I kind of missed out, but, uh, you probably already know that Electroneum is, uh, up for vote to be put on an exchange. Uh, it's called, uh, I can't remember the names, like OK something exchange. I, I've never heard of it. I don't think I don't think it's a huge exchange. Um, and speaking of exchanges, I did miss a big point about BitTube. I got to go back to that. BitTube, uh, in one of their pros, but it still doesn't cause BitTube to win, but it does move it even so much, you know, up in the, in the, uh, in the comparison. And that was just to say that BitTube did make it on a major exchange Bitrex. And I love Bitrex. I use Bitrex. It's a great exchange. It's a highly regulated exchange, right? So it's not one of these little, you know, hole-in-the-wall exchanges that are outside of international waters and various things like that. This is a, you know, it's very highly regulated. I believe Bitrex is in New York. And so that's awesome. I think that's great. And so I should have mentioned that. I forgot it. Um, but anyway guys, uh, yeah, this exchange, uh, Electrum is supposed to be on there. The votes were yesterday. Again, I'm sorry I didn't make a video yesterday, but I hope you did get over there and vote. And we have had trouble in the past with exchanges to the point I don't even really like to discuss them or talk about exchange listings anymore. Uh, but, um, you You know, if you did, get over there and vote. That, that, that was awesome, uh, and, uh, I hope that will just add to Electroneum, uh, you know, uh, getting to the point, getting to the place we know it will eventually get to. Uh, guys, that's all I want to say today. If you like content like this, don't forget to like and subscribe, and until next time, take care.
