Help Me Name My Cats Adelle Ramcharan?

In this informal vlog, the creator invites viewers to help name his outdoor cats that live in his rural backyard. He recounts a recent encounter where a large five‑foot snake tried to enter his house, but the cats chased it away, highlighting their role as natural pest controllers. He describes the surrounding wilderness—wild boar, coyotes, bears, rodents, and occasional sightings of hawks or bald eagles—emphasizing the need for protection in a country setting. The host references YouTube creator Adela (or Adele) Ramchand, whose minimalist mountain‑living videos inspired him, though he admits he lives a more luxurious version of nature life, complete with power lines and electricity. He shares personal backstory about starting a YouTube channel while dealing with a toothache and how he discovered Ramchand’s channel. Throughout, he asks the audience to suggest names for each cat, noting their dog‑like behavior, vocal responsiveness, and playful personalities. The vlog blends wildlife anecdotes, lifestyle reflection, and a call‑to‑action for viewer engagement.

Hey guys, so today we're doing a video entitled Help Me Name My Cats. Is— and this is my backyard— is I came home and there was a large, a very large snake. Uh, trying to get in my house, and the cats had, uh, actually, uh, took them out. So if you all can help me by giving everybody a name— and see, as you can see, my backyard here is nothing but wilderness in the boonies. And so, you know, we want to get some names for these guys because they have earned a name, all of them. Because like I said, I came home one day and there was a snake, a big snake. He must have been about— I don't know, this thing was probably about close to 5 feet long. You know, I'm about— I'm a good ways— I'm probably about probably take me about 20-30 minutes to get to the hospital if I'm bitten by a rattlesnake. And so yeah, you want to definitely have some protection here. You know, from the elements and have some protection from, you know, another thing too when you live in the country like this and, you know, it's all types of different wildlife, wild boar, and it's all type of you know, coyotes and bears and different stuff. You also have a lot of rodents like, you know, mice and different stuff. So cats are— these cats have been good with helping with pest control and different stuff like that. And, you know, so You know, definitely, so definitely they serve a purpose. So if you're a manly guy and you like to do like I do and go back in these woods and chop down trees and different stuff like that, or if you kind of like the minimalist lifestyle, You know, you definitely want to be able to, you know, have, you know, some added protection here. And I don't know what that is. That might be a hawk or bald eagle or something up there in that tree. I just saw something move out there. My backyard back here, like I said, it's all types of, you know, it's all types of things that, you know, that I might encounter out here. Bigfoot and different, different— that might be a hawk or bald eagle or something up there in that tree. I just saw something move out there. Uh, let me get down so you can see him. All right, and what is his name? I don't know his name. This one looks like he's crawling up on me, and this one's getting in my—
come on, get up there, get up there, get up there, come on, come on now.
So this guy here, he's in my, he's in my lap, man. So people like Adela Ramchand, I really liked her videos because, you know, uh, you know, uh, you know, as a YouTuber, uh, as a small YouTuber, you know, myself, uh, when I said, well, I like to do some do some YouTube videos. Uh, leave him alone, Midnight. Come here. And, uh, you know, uh, I said, well, I said, um, oh, Mrs., Mrs. Rum, you know, Mrs. Rumchon does. And, uh, you know, uh, kind of minimalist out in the, uh, you know, and, and actually, I don't know if I'm really a minimalist. I just like being close to nature. Actually, I'm not a minimalist. So, um, I'm not like— I'm not quite like Mrs. Adele Rumchon. I hope I'm saying her name right. But I'm a, I'm a person who likes to live in nature, but I like to live luxury in, uh, in nature. And that's how come you see me. Actually, that's how come you see power. Actually, that's how come you see power lines out here too. I don't know if you can see power lines, but they're actually power lines out here. So I do have a, you know, traditional electricity, you know, out here and different stuff. But Yeah, so I don't know if I'm really an animalist, but I do love her videos and she's been a great— quite a bit of an inspiration for me, you know, with just shooting these YouTube videos as I didn't really know much about YouTube, but I thought it would be fun because I actually had a toothache and I didn't really know much about YouTube, but I thought it would be fun because I actually had a toothache and I couldn't get to my dentist over the weekend, and I ran across her channel where she was, you know, putting up reliefs, things you can do for relief on toothaches. And she was putting up videos on that. And so I then found out other interesting things on her channel, you know, like the minimalist lifestyle when she was living out in the mountains. And I think, uh, the last video I saw, I think she had actually left the mountains. Uh, and, uh, so I don't know if you guys ever seen cat like these cats. I don't know if you guys ever seen cats fight, but I mean, I don't know. This guy must be the king of the cats right here because he know he can fight. This guy can really fight. This guy here, he's a—
hey, buddy! Hey buddy, what are you doing? Huh? You okay? You like the camera? Tell us you like the camera. Huh? You like the camera, buddy? What you do? You want to get in the camera? You want to be a superstar? You want to be a YouTube star? You want to be a YouTube star? You want to be a YouTube star? What about you? You want to be a YouTube star?
Take the, uh, you know, they're pretty— these cats I have, they pretty much act like dogs. Like, you know, I I don't have to have food or anything like that. They come when I call them and they, you know, they listen to what I say. They almost respond on voice command, almost. And so look at that guy, he's having a ball down there. We definitely got to give him a name. He's just having a ball of a time. He loves it. He loves to come out here. And there's a— I don't know what you want to call this guy here, this furry cat here. I don't know. I don't know, looks like he made a new friend there. I don't know, that might be his old lady there. But anyway, uh, yeah, folks, uh, yeah, this is, uh, you know, very, um, you know, very, uh, minimalist. And we might see a— we might see a deer This looks like a snake. That stick looks like a snake. Stick looks like a snake. Stick looks like a snake. So look at, he's on him. That cat, see how he attacks? See the attack? He said that snake's a little bit That snake's a little bit too much to deal with, so I'm not going to deal with that snake. So, uh, yeah, yeah, so, so yeah, that's how I would describe it, um, like that. But yeah, I mean, so, um Yes, definitely would be described that way. But, and this is another thing, this is another problem why I wouldn't consider myself a minimalist, because as you can see, as I'm walking down my driveway here and it's oak trees on either side, as I'm, as I'm walking down the driveway here through these oak trees, through these rows of oak trees, if you look at the far— if you look at the far end of my driveway, there is a power line going right through my driveway. So that kind of kills my minimalist dream, doesn't it? It also kind of— but, uh, and this is another thing, this is another problem why I wouldn't consider myself a minimalist. Because as you can see, as I'm walking down my driveway here, these on either side, as I'm walking down the driveway here through these oak trees, through these rows of oak trees, I need to name my friends here, the guardians of the property.
