Inhumans - Great Marvel Tv Show!

In this YouTube commentary, the host introduces Marvel’s upcoming Inhumans TV series, beginning with a concise mythological primer that links the Inhumans to the Kree, the Terrigen Mist, and the royal family (Black Bolt, Medusa, Maximus, Crystal, Karnak, and Lockjaw). He then dissects the first official trailer, outlining the central conflict of Maximus the Mad scheming to seize power and return the Inhumans to Earth, while Black Bolt struggles to contain his destructive sonic ability. The presenter highlights casting choices, noting the actor who played Ramsay Bolton on Game of Thrones as Maximus and praising the actor portraying Black Bolt for his expressive facial performance. He discusses concerns about a TV‑budget adaptation versus a cinematic release, arguing that strong storytelling and acting can compensate for limited resources, and mentions rumors of IMAX‑shot sequences that might appear in theaters. The host shares personal excitement, compares the series to Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D., critiques the planned depiction of Lockjaw, and invites viewers to share their opinions, ending with a call to like, subscribe, and stay tuned.

Hey you, welcome back to the channel. And guys, today we're going to talk about the Inhumans. We got our first official trailer. The show will be airing on ABC. And so guys, you know, if you don't know who the Inhumans are, what this is all about, I'm going to give you a quick explanation as to who the Inhumans are. And so guys, the Inhumans, uh, if you, if you come across, um, a lot of these Anunnaki videos on YouTube, which I find quite entertaining, uh, they talk about this alien race of, of, uh, beings that come to the Earth and they take early man, they do experiments on them, they bioengineer him to mine gold. And so we have a similar story with the Inhumans where we get an alien humanoid group that comes to Earth, uh, thousands of years ago, and they bioengineer early man, but for the purpose to fight a war for them. So they want to make them super soldiers to fight this war and experiment with something called Terrigen or the Terrigen Mist. And this gives them extraordinary abilities and powers. It does a lot of other things to them. Sometimes it alters their physical form. Some may appear more animal-like or, uh, certain deformities or various things happen to them. And some just appear humanoid and very powerful, like our main character. But, uh, the alien humanoid group that was responsible for this were called the Kree. And of course we know the Kree from Guardians of the Galaxy. They're the first supervillain they fought, Ronan the Accuser, was part of the Kree species. So the Kree, they decided to leave, abandon ship, get out of Dodge because of the prophecy they came across in which the Inhumans would be or would become the fall of their civilization. Leaving the Inhumans to themselves, the most powerful of the Inhumans kind of form this government, this royal family, where our main character Black Bolt becomes king along with his wife Medusa, cousin, I believe, Crystal, brother Maximus the Mad, Karnak, and Grogan, some of the members of the royal family. And they rule their people. Uh, in the comics it was originally on the moon and they have a cloaked city, uh, that you can't see. And, uh, you know, they're pretty much like isolationists, so they don't want to, you know, be in human affairs. So that's pretty much the quick crash course in who the Inhumans are. So in the trailer, what we're getting is we're getting this, um situation that follows the comic books as well, where Black Bolt's brother Maximus the Mad is plotting to overthrow him because he wants to go back and take control of the Earth because he feels the Inhumans were the original inhabitants of Earth, which they were, until they were altered by the Terrigen Mist. He wants to return Black Bolt doesn't want that, obviously, from the trailers. And so we get our story. But what's also interesting is the character who's playing Maximus the Mad, and that's why I'm excited about what's going to happen with this show despite a lot of controversy we're getting. And, uh, you know, of course, this character, uh, Ian— I can't remember his last name— he plays Ramsay Bolton on Game of Thrones, and If you know, a lot of people watch the channel know I'm a big Game of Thrones fan, and everybody just despises Ramsay Bolton. He has to be the worst character, the worst villain in the history of Game of Thrones, bar none. And so he's playing Maximus the Mad. Maximus the Mad in the comics was a genius, you know. You know, he had these abilities, I believe, to figure out, you know, many things. He could build. He's like this engineer. He could build all different types of things. But anyway, he wants to be king. And Black Bolt, his brother who was king, he's obviously the most powerful. And he has this type of sonic vibration that comes when he opens his mouth. And I mean, he's so powerful, so deadly, he can level a city. City with just a word, just when he opens his mouth. So he's very superpowered. So he doesn't speak. His wife here, Medusa, communicates messages telepathically to what his will is and what he wants of his people. And Crystal here in the yellow, who a lot of you probably know from a lot of comics— she had a few well-known romances, one with Johnny Storm, from the Fantastic Four. I believe she dated Quicksilver and even Ronan the Accuser. So she has a large— she kinda reminds me of some of these celebrities who date a lot of people. But anyway, that's pretty much our story. Now, a lot of people are upset because, you know, again, this was supposed to be made into a movie. They wanted this to be on the silver screen because it's It's a very good story with the Inhumans. Part of that story has been featured on Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. You know, some of their people from their civilization have been in the, or their species have been in that show. And so a lot of people wanted Black Bolt and the Inhumans to make it to the silver screen, be part of Marvel movie lineup. Doesn't look like that's gonna happen. So they're giving us a TV series, which a lot of people are like, uh, we don't think TV's gonna have the budget or is gonna be able to do this correctly. So here's what I want to say to that. Well, where it is true, those concerns are very valid, and TVs do have quite a limited budget to really do these things effectively. Ineffective, I believe you can always make up for that with a very good story. I believe you can always make up for that with good actors. And so, uh, you know, basically we have the story so far. We, we— the human story is probably one of the best comic book stories personally I think out there. And I think because of that, writers are going to be able to really home in and tap into their abilities to tell a good story. And so that's why I'm, um, I'm, I'm believing it's going to end up being a great TV show, uh, and I, I hope I'm not wrong about this, but, uh, I've seen a lot of TV shows start off like this where people thought they were going to end up crappy and they have really surprised, uh, you know, surprised us. So, uh, I'm hoping that happens in this case. I'm, you know, I hope so, guys. But, uh, maybe some consolation prizes, uh, you know won't get the big movie, but perhaps, or as I understand it, some of the scenes will be filmed with the large IMAX cameras. And I believe some of this will be shown in movie theaters. Don't quote me on that, but I think some, some parts of this will be shown in movie theaters. So maybe we can't get the full movie, but maybe we can kind of get that movie experience a little bit. With Inhumans. Uh, I like the actor who's playing Black Bolt, you know. Uh, his facial expressions I think are going to be very important to really, uh, capturing, you know, Black Bolt's personality, as Black Bolt doesn't speak. So you need a very animated person in their facial features. And this guy, I don't know, he just kind of— when I kind of picture what you know, Black Bolt would look like and how he would react. Um, he kind of to me just captures that. So I do like that. I like that about, uh, you know, this, this actor who's playing Black Bolt. Get this very interesting scene in the trailer that I liked where we see, uh, Black Bolt's being attacked by police officers. He's beaten by police officers. He's trying not to to open his mouth because he knows if he does, he can probably destroy half the city. So he lets out this very small grunt trying to restrain himself, and you just see the immense power that comes, you know, out of his mouth, out of his voice, you know, just from, you know, that little grunt that came out. So, you know, very, very powerful, you know, being Black Bolt is. And we also get Lockjaw. And Lockjaw, a lot of people love Lockjaw. If I had one thing that kind of bothered me about what we're gonna get with the Inhumans, it would be Lockjaw. So a lot of people were hoping, want to see Lockjaw, want to see the special effects with Lockjaw. Got that. Whereas they didn't look They could have been worse. I just don't like how they're doing with Lockjaw. I think Lockjaw may have been the one thing that would have worked better if he would have been an adaption from comic book to TV. You know, he has a very interesting story. I think Lockjaw was once a boy or a kid and he was exposed to the Terrigen Mist and he becomes, you know, this big dog, you know, that serves the royal family and helps to and does various things, but just never one of my, you know, one of my favorite parts of the Inhumans. Anyway, I'm quite excited about what we're gonna get with the Inhumans. I can tell you I'm gonna— I'm pretty sure I'm gonna enjoy this more than Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. I couldn't— I could never really get into Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D., although it serves as a good complement with the Inhuman story. And, but I just, you know, I just could never really get deep into Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. I think this— I'm definitely going to be into Inhumans. I want to see what's going on with it. I like the, I like the fact Ramsay Bolton's in it, and I like the actor who I can't— I don't know his name at this point, I'm gonna have to look it up— who plays King Black Bolt. I like his facial expression, you know, how he's doing this. I think that's going to be interesting. And guys, tell me what you think about the Inhumans show, television show that's coming out. Tell me if you think it's going to be good, if it's going to be bad. I think because it has such a great story that if done right, if written right, I think that they're going to be able to get a lot of people on board with the show. It will depend on a writing department, seeming as they probably won't have the budget to really do the things a lot of people want to see. So anyway, guys, that's my thoughts on the Inhumans TV show coming out. Guys, if you like content like this, don't forget to like and subscribe. And until next time, take care.
