Jack Dorsey Btc Fork - Universal Basic Income Is A Good Idea

A critic examines Jack Dorsey's Bitcoin fork proposal and tech billionaires' push for Universal Basic Income, arguing their philanthropy masks guilt. He promotes BitcoinMYK, a fork combining Bitcoin, social networking, and UBI, as a better path to economic equality than anything Dorsey might build.

Welcome back to the channel. I hope you all are having a great day. So today I want to talk about Jack Dorsey's recent Bitcoin conference with Elon Musk, Cathie Woods, um, and talk about what is seeming to shape up for many of us in the cryptocurrency space as the what might end up being one of the latest Bitcoin forks. Some of the adjustments that Jack is talking about making to Bitcoin is not sitting well with especially the Bitcoin maximalist community, and that Bitcoin itself, meaning to be sound money, meaning to be gold 2.0, is not seen as something that needs to be changed in any way. And Jack Dorsey's making these very grandiose ideas like Bitcoin can bring world peace, and that's just not really what today's version— excuse me for these ads— what today's version has, you know, really been about in cryptocurrency. And so where does that leave us? It will it be a good idea for changes to be made if they're made in Bitcoin and what went on during this conference? So the first part is if this is shaping up to be some type of Bitcoin fork where they're gonna be all these different types of changes made to make Bitcoin more efficient. If that happens, obviously it's gonna be a lot of friction with that, but is it a good thing overall? And I think this is where I might especially differ with the Bitcoin maximalist crowd, in that it is my core belief that Satoshi wanted Bitcoin to change. He wanted it to amend for the better. You know, there aren't many creators I know of in the world that create something that can have as many, uh, as much significance as Bitcoin and not want it to improve in areas it can improve. It's a very hard thing to do. Possible, but if the romanticism of Satoshi is anything like many in the crypto space has shaped it up to be, then Satoshi would model more of a benevolent figure that would be more interested in progress, I believe, over, uh, you know, these type ideas. If he fits the description that they've created in their minds about him, if he's more of a practical person, if he's more of a capitalist business-oriented person to the fact that we've made cryptocurrencies today, then it may ring true that he would specifically want Bitcoin to exist unchangeable as sound money. These— all these things could be the case. Seeing that none of us really know who Satoshi is or his overall vision, it is very difficult to determine. Um, now again, my viewpoint would be this would be a good thing. Now the problem isn't so much as what happens, uh, when it forks, as in what type of fork it becomes. Does it become this centralized thing that it would probably have to end up being, probably for it to work on a level like Jack Dorsey about work towards world peace, which I really like Jack Dorsey. And I'm gonna tell you why I like Jack Dorsey. The reason I like Jack Dorsey— where in crypto many don't like him— because in cryptocurrency, many of these big social network tech guys that have these very centralized censors, censor platforms, is gonna generally get a negative strike from the cryptocurrency community. But I, I believe that Jack Dorsey, at least in his mind, really believes he wants to do the right thing. He wants to do what is good. And that is because there's this kind of false idea going around of what I call the comic book villain. And how the comic book villain works is his overall goal is villain, villainy, right? It's, it's without a purpose. It's, uh, sociopathic, but it has no, uh, it doesn't even have the foundation that a sociopath has. You know, for example, a sociopath He can rationalize the situation to make sense because to a certain degree it does make sense. But the problems with people like, uh, the conspiracy theorists like Bill Gates creating vaccines to control people and Jack Dorsey seeking more power and to keep people under his thumb, the, the problem with these notions is that they start to go out of the scope of reality and go into these very comic book areas where these are just boogeymen. And this happens a lot in cryptocurrency where we frame these people up this way, but we don't give a good, a great explanation as to why they want this, right? And so the only thing left to do is make it that they are just evil for the sake of being evil. And human beings are very complicated psychologically. They need a lot of things emotionally. And so oftentimes this type of alienation from humanity and antisocial behavior isn't what a lot of wealthy people seek. And that's why wealthy people generally, as part of their part of their social circles, they deal in a lot of philanthropy. Now I get that it can be guilt-ridden and they're doing this because they feel guilty about maybe what they've done to get to where they are, maybe the crimes their billionaire families have, uh, committed to get them where they are. But we also have to keep in mind that they also, uh, in large part might be doing it because as a human being at their core, they feel certain things aren't right and it doesn't sit well with them as humans. And so especially when they've reached a certain place such as the Jack Dorsey's and the Mark Zuckerberg's, as it were, um, when they reach those points, there might be a need for a type of redemption or seeing a world that is not burning on fire. So I'm open to, uh, Jack Dorsey being a good actor, and I'm also open to that because of, uh, when it comes to projects that are very endeared to me, like Universal Basic Income. He is one of the biggest donators of UBI. But now his industries and the way the world works and our corporate systems, they are also some of the biggest, uh, causers of why we need Universal Basic Income. But that said, I'm open to his intentions being good. Now, the problem with, uh, whatever his positive views on Bitcoin has been, the problem is when pushed by Elon Musk, when, when, when it's time to really put money on the table, uh, none of these guys have really stuck their necks out there. Elon Musk confessed to not holding much Bitcoin, not holding much Ethereum. And so I don't know why the price has pumped so high. I think it's utterly ridiculous. Um, but, uh, you go— because if they really believe that, he would be putting some of his multi-billion dollar fortune of his own money in there. But in, in addition to that, well, let me give them a, a, an excuse. So let me say maybe it's due to securities regulations, which he hasn't cared about in the past, but let's say he cares about them now, which is why he isn't investing. Um, let's say that's the case, right? Elon Musk still doesn't come off as the best proponent of Bitcoin, right? He's the one that's, uh, started a lot of market, uh, crashes due to what he said about Bitcoin. Doesn't seem like a, a real champion for Bitcoin. Jack Dorsey, uh, danced around when he was asked why doesn't he let Twitter, uh, to accept Bitcoin. Nobody wants to, uh, accept Bitcoin on a major level. It is about looking at the actions of what people do and not what they say. And I would also say to Jack Dorsey, you've done well in being a UBI proponent, but let's put some money in some universal basic income cryptocurrencies. How much money has he put in something as important as universal basic income? Talks about Bitcoin and freedom that Bitcoin, uh, creates. What creates way more freedom? Universal basic income, cryptocurrencies, right? Especially one like ours that is a Bitcoin fork and a universal basic income project. So what I would say to Jack Dorsey is he needs to put money into Bitcoin MYK projects like that. That's what I would say to you, Jack Dorsey. Um, but now let's— so overall, I believe that Satoshi looked at Bitcoin forks as amendments, amendments similar to how we have the Constitution of the United States. I don't believe Satoshi meant for original Bitcoin to be the standard and the only standard. Along those lines. And I think we have a lot of proof of that in the white paper, just how he describes Bitcoin. He describes his view of the future and what he could see. But let me get you over to BitcoinMYK.com, another Bitcoin fork, one that you need to pay very special close attention to. Taking a look at the marvelous BitcoinMYK, very reminiscent to Facebook But picture Facebook meets Bitcoin meets universal basic income, right? The cryptocurrency is a— I'm sorry, universal basic income is a great idea, right? As championed by many economists, world-renowned economists across the globe. And merging this with the biggest social network in the world, uh, technology-wise, where the biggest cryptocurrency in the world and the biggest idea in the history of man creates the perfect cryptocurrency project. But it needs all those elements, and it has to be a Bitcoin fork because we need to channel the energy of Bitcoin. And that's what we should have done from the beginning. Now, whatever fork Jack Dorsey does is not going to be as good as Bitcoin MYK fork, uh, and that's just the reality of the situation. I think it'd be better to just You know, invest in BitcoinMYK, work with BitcoinMYK. Maybe he'll see this video. Maybe you all share it throughout Twitter, throughout social media. He'll get it and he'll begin to understand the power of BitcoinMYK and why it's so important to bring in these elements of this interface that's like Facebook, this cryptocurrency that's a better version of Bitcoin. And this means to create true world peace, true equality. Now, Jack Dorsey mentioned Bitcoin can bring world peace. That is not true. Bitcoin is a network that 87% of it is owned by 1% of the network. This is worse than what we say in our standard economy of half the world's resources being owned by only 1%. Bitcoin is far worse than that. How can that bring world peace? That's not even going to bring good distribution. It's a horrible currency. Here's another thing at the Bitcoin conference that was horrible. When they asked about why— asked Jack Dorsey why he loved Bitcoin so much, why he thought that Bitcoin saved everything, he talked about it being this good currency. You know, we know Bitcoin is a horrible currency. The problem is we have these tech gurus, billions of dollars, that might have good intentions. I don't, I don't think that Elon doesn't have any good intentions, even though I think he's acting like a jerk and manipulated these crypto prices, uh, whether they've been, um, intentional or unintentional over the last, uh, um several months, but he gets a pass. Why does he get a pass? Because like Jack Dorsey, these are big champions of universal basic income, something that will bring true world peace and true economic prosperity. That is why. It is not what you say, it is what you do. But you know, when Jack was— when they pressed Jack Dorsey about that, Jack Dorsey was saying Bitcoin was a good currency. It's a horrible currency, and we all know that. And if he tampers with it, it's not Bitcoin anymore, because according to the space now, especially Bitcoin maximalists, Bitcoin is meant to be slow and meant to be, uh, just this, uh, trash cryptocurrency that doesn't really do anything, that should be approaching a value of zero. And I know people don't like to hear me say that. This isn't a strike against Satoshi or Bitcoin because the Bitcoin we have today, I don't think is his version. What he would have wanted to see Bitcoin become today, I don't believe that's what he'd want to see. I believe he would want to see something like us. I believe Jack would probably rather see something like what BitcoinMYK is doing. And the thing is, um, he probably is going to more likely do the same thing or similar system, which I'll be okay with to a certain degree. But I just don't think Jack Dorsey is the one to head up this, this, uh, this type of project. I, I think he should support projects like BitcoinMYK or others to do it with his track record with Twitter and censorship, it, it, I think it's just not the best move. He's gonna have a lot of friction. Um, Bitcoin MYK, I think, would be a better means to use that. But if Jack does it, it is very likely Jack Dorsey is going to do, uh, universal basic income through this Bitcoin fork, right? It is very likely he's going to send out Universal basic income all across Twitter and social media. And if you don't believe me, look at the history of Jack Dorsey with universal basic income. And then even if you want to look at Mark Zuckerberg, what he planned to do, uh, or his thoughts and views about universal basic income— had Facebook Libra coin been established, it is very likely he would have issued some universal basic income. Through the Facebook cryptocurrency. So this should go to show you that universal base income is the future. Everybody knows this. You ignore this, you ignore projects like BitcoinNYK at your own peril. Uh, that's just the way it is. Uh, it's not going to change, especially if anything now with the pandemic and, and with a recession looming economy that we were already on the verge of before before COVID-19, before the Delta variant. We're— this is here to stay. Universal basic income is only going to get bigger over the next several years. And so ignoring this, you're doing it at your own peril, right? You're, you're not making a wise choice in cryptocurrency. But that's all I want to say about that. UBI is a great idea. What do you think about the Jack Dorsey possible Bitcoin fork? Until next time, as always, take care of yourselves and each other.
