Hey guys, welcome back to the channel. And today I'm doing some okra harvesting. This is what okra looks like on the tree, and you can— as you can see, they have these very beautiful blooms that form before the okra pod forms from the hibiscus family. I'm going to try Let's see if I can cut one off while I'm holding this, uh, while I'm holding this camera here. Uh, it's kind of getting a little sunlight on the camera there. Let me see if I— okay, there's the pot. Uh, I'm gonna try to snip it off. I'm just gonna let it fall because I only got one hand here. All right, did I get it? Yeah, I think I got it. Yeah, I did it. Oh, Jesus. Will down. So let's see here. Uh, there we go, a nice beautiful okra pod. And you have to, you have to cut them off before they get too big. They, they get very, uh, uh, uh, hardened to, to the point you can't even, uh, really eat them. Very fibrous and got a strong fibers. You gotta really cut these every day, guys. And so what's happened with me over time is I have so many okra plants, I've had to actually destroy them. You know, it's too much energy to try and, uh, replant them or anything like that, or when I'm thinning them out. So it's easier just to destroy them, um, you know, for me. Oh, look at the way Cody— Cody got in a fight with something and he hurt his hand. Okay, so let's see if we got any more over here, guys. Here's some more, and they're all over the place here. Ah, these guys are starting to come. I'm gonna let that stay on the bush a little bit longer, guys, let it get a little bit bigger. But after a while, I have to come out here every day just doing this kind of stuff. But anyway, guys, that's what, uh, okra's harvesting like, and that's what it looks like. All right, take care, guys.
