Hey you, welcome back to the channel. And guys, today we want to talk about PayPal, who recently filed a patent for expedited cryptocurrency transactions. And this is very interesting. Everybody's getting involved with the blockchain, everybody's getting involved with cryptocurrencies now, and we're trying to figure out what this, what this could mean. Some of us, you know, some people feel feel that it could mean that PayPal is going to get its own virtual token, that it might get its own virtual exchange, and this could be good for the cryptocurrency space overall. So, um, uh, we'll be interested to see what happens with this. Uh, PayPal obviously has a lot of money has a lot of resources. And this will obviously make the structure of moving money across borders easier and faster, more efficient. And so they got this patent going with the Patent Office on this particular technology that they're going to use Um, you know, which seems would— which will be a lot more faster. It says here in the article, in many transaction situations, a 10-minute wait time will be too long for payers or payees, and those payers or payees will instead choose to perform the transaction using traditional payment methods, uh, rather than virtual currency. Issues like this have slowed the adoption of virtual currencies despite their advantages. Thus, there is a need for an 'Expedited virtual currency transaction system,' explains PayPal. So obviously PayPal is going to do something with this technology, um, and, uh, you know, using the blockchain, uh, might be, uh, similar to what's happening, uh, with Ripple. Um, maybe they could get their own exchange, um, you know, move these tokens across it. But anyway, guys, uh, looking forward to, uh, seeing what you all think about what exactly is going to happen with PayPal and using this, uh, this technology to move money.
