Pi Network - Update & Alternatives

Pi Network rumors include staking, Amazon acceptance, and a Binance listing, with KYC verification potentially boosting its value. BitcoinMYK offers an alternative: a freemium social-token platform that rewards users for social-media activity, has lenient KYC, and trades on multiple exchanges.

Welcome back to the channel, and I hope you all are having a great day. So today we're going to talk about— excuse me— talk about Pi Network. I'm going to talk about some updates that are happening with the, uh, the Pi Network, and we're going to talk about alternatives as well to the Pi Network, right? So it should be an interesting video. So many of us are excited about Pi kind of see it as one of those cryptocurrencies that's going to actually be useful, get us closer to mass adoption. Looking at something like the Pi Network, already north of 25 million users, one cryptocurrency. So that's easily going to make it one of the biggest cryptocurrencies out there, right? So some of the updates that are going on, uh, right now with the Pi network is staking, right? So it seems like staking was going to be something that was going to incentivize, you know, people to secure the network, be involved with the network. And so it seems like that's going to be a function with the Pi Network on this chain. Another rumor that keeps circling, it's pretty much an old rumor, but I'm hearing a lot more lately, and that is that Amazon, as in the Amazon, will be accepting Pi coins, right? We know that as of late, uh, Amazon, due to fees, has suspended its Visa transactions in Europe. Um, this is something that, um, is happening with some businesses with the high fees that Visa charges, even here in the United States. One of the Uh, the marketplace stores, uh, big department stores— Kroger's, uh, is, uh, had been talking about getting rid of Visa due to its high fees and accepting Bitcoin and other cryptocurrencies, right? So, um, that ought to be interesting. Could be helping to push along that use case for cryptocurrency, right, with the high transaction fees that the credit card companies are charging. Uh, so that could open up a good avenue for products like Pi coin. Look at something like Pi coin. We already got 25 million wallets. It's easily integrated on phones. The distribution is good there. Anybody who can get a phone can start mining and owning and have it or pass out the referral links and earn that way. Uh, make sure if you haven't joined Pi Network to use our link in in the description, uh, that way we get some credit for telling you all about it. But, uh, right, yeah, um, you might want to just go ahead and, uh, mine Pi anyway, seeing that it's free. That's one thing I don't understand about people in cryptocurrency projects that have great promise that are free to get. It's only going to take the maximum losses maybe 5 minutes of your time Uh, people don't invest in those projects that oftentimes end up being some of the better projects, uh, but they'll do high-risk DeFi products and, you know, lose a lot of money. So I don't know, but that's how things go in cryptocurrency. So those are some of the updates with the Pi Network. Still no launch date, uh, as of yet. But it's been going a long time. This thing's been going for years and it does seem to be getting, you know, I think close to that sweet spot to where they're going to probably finally launch. Also Binance, that's another rumor that it's going to get listed on Binance. The thing about getting listed on Binance, if you got that much hype and push behind you, more likely you're going to get listed on Binance. Especially if they're willing to pay the listing fee. I don't know if Pi Network will be willing to get involved in that or not, but seeing that it does kind of feel like a more, a great element of centralization is happening with the Pi Network, probably a lot easier for them to speak with CZ and Binance and probably get listed. So a Pi coin listing is probably likely, and it's probably going to greatly throw the price of the coin up. Ridiculous estimates as to the value of the coin are out there. I can say this, I do feel confident saying this about Pi coin, and that is because of the verification with the KFC— I'm sorry, KYC. KFC, I must be thinking about eating or something, chicken. But because of the verification with the KYC, the know your customer rules, Uh, anytime that's done, uh, oftentimes, and just the verification process overall, validating that network to have authentic users and, um, to have active users, oftentimes the value of the cryptocurrency is going to go up with that. That's generally typically what happens, right? And so Pi Network, uh, after that process and potentially a Binance listing, uh, you know, could probably see some very highly valuable, uh, price in the cryptocurrency. That could very well be the case. Now they got some ridiculous estimates out there— $1,000, $100. I really don't know, but crazy things have happened in cryptocurrency projects. We've seen the Dogecoins and the Shiba Inus go up um, and they are less useful than I think PiCoin would be with its big wallet size and reach. Um, I think, um, also, um, you know, it's important to keep in mind and understand that there, there are going to be a lot of people who might not be open to KYC. So some of those accounts may not, you know, be there as to speak, but anytime there's a network of size and participation, the value of that cryptocurrency typically is going to start to go up. Uh, and the reason that is, is because, uh, of course the network value— if you read something like Metcalfe's Law, which says the value of a network is proportional ratio-wise to the size of the network, right? So in layman's terms, as it gets bigger, as more people join, the more, uh, valuable it's going to become, right? So that's another thing I don't understand in cryptocurrency. People are picking the quick money projects, the projects where they see the markets moving, but they never take a look at future-wise, what's the growth of the network going to look like? Is it going to be able to grow? First of all, there are these a lot of carved out niches in the cryptocurrency space, but some of these niches, the, uh, opportunity for them to grow is slim to none. And oftentimes, and, uh, so, uh, you know, a lot of times you just get these, you know, a lot of short-term traders, short-term gamblers, so to speak. Um, so we also now want to go into the Pi coin alternatives. Now there's a YouTuber out there, he's listing Pi coin alternatives you can use. These are other blockchain projects similar to Pi coin, um, where you can mine for free and earn tokens through some type of participation or app or site or something. Now unfortunately, he hasn't named what I think to be one of the best out there. That's the BitcoinMYK site. What this is, is it feels like a mix between Bitcoin and Facebook, but it's done in a way to create mass adoption. Uh, I'll demonstrate right here. Whenever there's— excuse me— participation in voting, somebody polls, you make friends with somebody, someone becomes a member. I'm gonna, I'm gonna click on the, um, uh, give them a vote, and you should see them earn a cryptocurrency on their polls. Uh, let's see, I went to their page instead. I was trying to click on their— okay, they did earn 10 tokens, but it should have showed, uh, where I clicked on their post. All right, yes, and it did work. As you can see here, one BitcoinNYK token has been added to this new registered user's account. Has chat rooms, has games, has a lot of things your standard social media sites have. Feels kind of like Facebook. And again, you know, what's happening here is you're basically just things you normally do on social media. That is basically how you mine, right? And, um, it, it is, uh, the reason it's similar to Pi Network because you kind of— as long as you just log in every day, you're going to earn so much of the cryptocurrency just by logging in. Also has referral program just like Pi Network, has many of the same aspects, uh, to the network like Pi Network has. Uh, but there are a lot of advantages, I think, over BitcoinMYK that doesn't exist on PiCoin. I'm going to look at a few of them right now. Okay, so here in my account, if you look here, uh, you can see that for different things I do while I'm on the site, I earn the token. Uh, I earned a token for liking someone's content. I earned a token for visiting a site. I earned a token for logging in, right? I earned a token for updating my profile, um, and, uh, right, you know, it goes on. It's a variety of things. If you upload pictures, and they're all different amounts to what you can earn based on what you do. So it's a little bit different from Pi Coin, whereas Pi Coin just kind of log in, you kind of hold your phone, and it's not really mining. It's, it's a kind of like a simulated mining. It's not really mining. You're— it's really all the value is really coming from the attention, right? You're not securing a network or anything, right? But with something like this, uh, using the future, what we deem to be the social token, where these communities are built and there is a governance model in the community that decides, uh, you know, what governance is done on the site, what accounts you know, should have certain, uh, restrictions put on them or so on and so forth. It's all decided through judicial means and through a very democratic system. But, uh, you can earn the cryptocurrency by doing a variety of things, uh, related to social media, things you do every day, uh, anyway. And the reason it's designed this way is all done just to make the experience more user-friendly for new people as they onboard. There's no long learning curve to try to figure out how to do, how to manage a wallet. These, these wallets are very easy to maintain. Uh, um, uh, they, they work something similar to like what you get on, uh, PayPal or something. So they're very simple wallets, right? You can just transfer from your wallet here right under your profile page and so on and so forth. and as you earn, all the things it does, it goes right in your wallets, right? Uh, right now we're listed on about 5 exchanges. So unlike Pi Network, you can start using this today. Uh, it's a totally free cryptocurrency, so you don't have to purchase it. A lot of things come up like, where does the value come from? And one of the easiest ways to answer that question is again the site Metcalfe's Law. That just says, much like how you use Facebook and Twitter, and it doesn't seem or appear that you're putting out any money, yet these products are worth trillions of dollars. Uh, Bitcoin MYK is somewhat similar. It is a decentralized network. The cryptocurrency itself is on the blockchain. It is decentralized. Uh, the system works on an algorithm based on what you do and your attention value, right? That's the difference. Our mining is based on an intention value, um, uh, basically model, right? Proof of participation, meaning when you do something, you add value to the network and that goes into the network, right? Now, some of the reasons why this is probably going to be probably my first pick over something like Pi Network is because the KYC is a lot less, uh, uh, it is a lot more lenient, right? It's not as strict. So with our KYC, it uses other social media profiles, whether it be your social media, uh, decentralized social media apps, or whether it be your traditional social media accounts, right? By basically sending, um, your social media key outside of your, uh, standard social media profiles into BitcoinMYK platform, you're able to basically link to those accounts, identify those accounts. So we then know it is you. And, uh, that pretty much satisfies a lot of our KYC concerns, right? We know that we're dealing with a unique user. And no system is 100%, but with it being under that, it's gonna be a lot easier for you to get an account, uh, using your social media profiles. Some people will ask questions, well, can't the system be gamed? And what happens if somebody just creates, uh, bot accounts and they go in and go out? We already have a very capable security system to detect bots and to detect behavior that is, you know, would be, cause a lot of flagging. At that point, you'll be switched over to our governance model, our judicial group, which through a democratic process where they're elected by the community, decide if those accounts pose a risk and danger to our network or not. So that's the short answer of how it works. Right. And that's how we secure our network. A little bit different from the Pi network, but it's going to allow us to be a lot more flexible and do many more things that we think Pi might be limited in because of the strict KYC rules. There are a lot of things I think going to go on with Pi where there's not going to be as much value going through Pi as, or active users as what they have now. Many of these people won't be able to get through KYC or complete it. And so that's why it's so important. Also, another advantage is we're already trading on 5 exchanges, meaning you can start piling up your, your BitcoinNYK cryptocurrencies today, build it to a network size similar to Pi, and you can already start trading and reaping the rewards of that, right? As you can see, it's already a complete system, works very similar to social media sites you already use. There are games on here, groups, forums. You can create your own group and have your own people come in and, uh, basically have them as your referrals where you can gain our cryptocurrency off them. So very cool stuff. Make sure you give it a try today. Uh, make sure you tell other people that there are also other alternatives to Pi, uh, the Pi Coin network besides Pi, as many are looking for that. Maybe you'll be able to, uh, share that with them, share the video with others. But that's all I want to say in the video. If you like content like this, don't forget to like, subscribe. Don't forget to join BitcoinMYK.com today so you can start to earn, uh, yet another cryptocurrency that is the future model, I believe, cryptocurrency. And that is freemium services where you get the cryptocurrencies free, establish large networks that are valuable, that can rival the likes of Facebook, Twitter and Instagram and be quite valuable and you sharing that network value. But that's all I want to say in this video. Till next time, as always, take care of yourselves and each other.
