In this monologue, the performer (Mykos) explains why the piano tutorial videos intentionally include mistakes, noting that his limited experience (3‑4 months) and the mismatch between his large fingers and the small app keys cause errors. He clarifies that some apparent errors are due to the app’s limited key size rather than actual playing flaws. Mykos announces that he has ordered a baby‑grand piano and will soon produce videos that combine live footage of the real piano with app‑based views, allowing viewers to see both the actual keys and the app interface. He emphasizes the educational value of showing progression without editing out mistakes, and ends with a call to like, subscribe, and take care of oneself and others.

All right guys, um, so just a few things. Um, when I'm playing these pieces, sometimes you see quite a bit of mistakes, right? And, um, the reason that is, is because the reason I present it like that is so you guys can see the mistakes in order so you can see the progression I've only been playing for, I think, 3, 4 months now. Uh, also, some of the things that may appear to be mistakes might not exactly be mistakes, and I understand what that means because I'm playing it across the app. Um, my fingers are not gifted with the best small piano hands, right? So a lot of times I know the notes, I know where I'm aiming, And just because my hands are so big and the app keys are so small, that might also cause errors. Now, the first lesson I did on tutorial, I was saying that I'm getting a— I'm going to transfer this over to the piano. I have ordered a baby grand piano, and in the future we will have videos coming up where we won't be on the app at all. Now, the only problem with that is if we're not on the app, uh, it's gonna be difficult for you to see the keys. So for you guys who like to see the keys, uh, maybe you want to try to learn some stuff or just a few notes, um, what we're gonna do is, um, um, try to mix up the video. So some will be like live, some, some of them will be live. I'll be on this, my baby grand piano Some will be live video shots of that, and then some of them will be, um, you know, back to this kind of thing just so you can see the keys. But sometimes I make mistakes, like I want to show the mistakes. I don't want to edit the video. I want to show the progression so you can look at, okay, you know, you kind of see the progress. I can look back and see the progress over time. But also just on these apps, the keys are, you know, gonna be smaller than, you know, it's gonna be a little different from, you know, actual real piano. Channel. So anyway, um, that's all I wanted to say, guys. Uh, if you like content like this, don't forget to like, subscribe. Till next time, as always, take care of yourselves and each other.
