Sola Coin Episode 2

In this YouTube commentary, the presenter explains Sola (also called SolarHero), a social‑media platform that functions as its own cryptocurrency. He outlines the tokenomics (150 million coins, ~US$5 million market cap, price around $0.10‑$0.25) and notes the platform’s Instagram‑like interface combined with a Facebook‑style growth model where ad revenue is shared with users. The speaker addresses the frequently asked question of why trading volume is low, attributing it to a community‑first approach that encourages holders to keep tokens for long‑term growth rather than short‑term speculation. He highlights the automated referral program that gives users 10 % of their referrals’ earnings for a year, positioning it as a cost‑effective alternative to traditional ICO/IPO marketing spend. The ad‑revenue‑backed sustainability model is discussed, with the presenter arguing that tasteful, well‑placed ads can fund the ecosystem without devaluing the token. He praises the team and advisors (including the OpenLedger CEO) as reputable, and walks through the white‑paper roadmap: decentralized media storage by Q4 2018 and a pay‑per‑engagement, connector‑based platform by 2019. Throughout, he expresses optimism about Sola’s growth potential, encourages viewers to sign up via his link, and promises future deep‑dive videos.

Hey you, welcome back to the channel. And guys, today I want to talk a little bit more about Sola, the Sola coin. Um, and Sola is a social network that, um, is basically a cryptocurrency and, um, kind of a layout kind of similar to Instagram, but its growth model feels more like a type of Facebook situation. And if you were to imagine a situation like, um, platform, a huge platform like Facebook, where the users, all the revenue was shared back to the users. And it was this type of big profit sharing, you know, program, various things like that. And so Sola is basically able to basically create money upon using the basic social media platform, which is ad revenues. They created 150 million coins and have a market cap of about $5 million USD. These coins are going for about 10 cents US dollars. And you know, there have been various programs like this created before, but one question had come up quite a bit with Sola recently has been, well, everything sounds great about this coin, what it's doing, but why is the volume so low? And there seems to be hardly any trading at all. And I did a little research, looked around, got some information from the community and various people. And it seems that the concept behind Sola is they, the people who are involved, they want the Sola community to grow much like they want to grow together with the platform. And I have to say, I'm kind of in agreement with that. I think Sola, from what I've seen, does have the potential for large growth. It's already gained about 800,000 users. And Sola had been part of a previous company called Plague, and that already had quite a bit of users, I believe. And so they all kind of integrated back into that. But, you know, so far what's going on with it sounds good. The only problem I've seen so far has been the volume of trade, and I kind of assumed that maybe people aren't— when they bought these tokens, they just aren't doing anything with them. And that kind of makes sense when you're dealing with a product or a project on this scale. You know, it's probably— people aren't gonna be, you know, trading and selling their coins right away, especially if they bought at around 10 cents. But the Coin's been fluctuating. I think it's traded around 25 cents, something like that, and it's come back down. But, uh, um, you know, my, my entire, um, mindset about, uh, platforms such as this is if your project is a good idea and, uh, the blueprint is great, um, I'm less concerned about early on your trading volume, more, more concerned about your plan and how you're implementing stages of your plan. Uh, another thing that I quite appealing. And, uh, what I, what I liked about SolarHero is this automated referral program that they have. And, um, when I signed in and I logged into the account, uh, it basically says you gain about 10% of all of your, uh, the people you refer, uh, earnings through SolarHero for the first 365 days. Now The reason that I think I thought that was pretty cool was because I think what a lot of people fail to see or don't quite understand is that if you're in comparison of an ICO to an IPO, you know, an initial public offering, is that initial public offerings require a great deal of money to the sales and marketing department, and sometimes that can take up about 15% of the entire money raised in budget. And so, uh, what Solar seems to be doing is giving that, that type of money back in coins, in ICO form, back to people who refer, which I think makes a lot of sense, and I think it'll help grow the model better and gives quite a great deal of incentive to get 10% of the earnings of the, uh, of the, uh, the users to the platform. Uh, And what's great about Sola so far as I go through everything is that they're gonna be able to sustain this model from ad revenue. Now I know a lot of people don't like ad revenue. They've had issues and problems with ad revenue. But what you have to understand about, I think, a setup like Sola is what they're saying is we're all partners in this. If you're a partner in a business and you want that business to be successful, you will— you make decisions to make that business sustainable. And, uh, I, I feel like what Soul is saying is that, uh, you know, we're using these ads to sustain our business, our company, and it's necessary in order, you know, to keep this sustainable. And, um, I think as long as the advertisements are done with taste and class and positioned right I don't think that needs to be a problem at all. I've actually seen some advertisements set up on certain websites that aren't all that intrusive. So it's going to depend a lot on how they implement it, but I don't see anything wrong with it at all. Their layout is good so far. I see no reason to believe that their layout, you know, won't deal with that. Any better. And as far as doing a little bit of research, from what I've seen, the team is also, uh, you know, pretty well-known team around the cryptocurrency space, and, uh, a good team at that. Uh, some of the advisors they have working on the project, the CEO of OpenLedger, and, you know, various things like that. So this seems to be a pretty legitimate well-put-together, uh, uh, you know, cryptocurrency and platform. And, um, so I'm very excited to see what's going to happen with this coin and what's happening so far. Also, again, guys, uh, the incentive to not only join this but to refer other people, um, and, and gain 10% of their earnings, uh, over the course of a year, I think also is an excellent way to handle this and a lot of incentive for us. Uh, you know, some coins that I love very much, um, uh, part of their marketing plan has been to try to get people over and try to get them to buy the coins directly. Now, there's nothing wrong with that, uh, but The problem I have with models like that is when these models depend on that in order to be sustainable and where there is no market demand within itself. Now, comparing that to a coin like SOLA, with SOLA, what you're getting is you're getting an attention-valued platform. And what it's doing is it's using basically that attention to generate money back into the coin. Whereas you can have advertisers come in that have products where they can make money through advertising, various things like that. And as this model kind of creates this exponential growth model, you can have millions, billions of dollars in ad revenue that can sustain this market as the developers and creators are saying that that money will be reinvested back into these coins. So you have this model where it can be very sustainable and where people can use their attention value. If you're a person who uses social media quite a bit, you can gain a lot of attention value that way and monetize it in a method that I think is more sustainable than I've seen so far. So I'm liking everything I'm seeing with SOL. Again, for those of you who have invested and don't see the trading volume, my understanding of that is people are holding on to the coin, people are wanting to grow over time. And I find that to be a— that may not be the best situation for a speculator, for like a diehard speculator, and I understand that. But this could be a growth coin, a growth model. And when you can have a situation with this much growth, I think it's definitely going to make a lot more sense to do it this way and for people to hold their coins on as the model is growing over time. Also, there doesn't seem to be a lot of pressure or demand about purchasing anything that the attention value value is, you know, it's based on that. So I like all these things about Solar, uh, guys. I invite you all to be a participant in Solar, uh, make sure you sign up with the link I provide in the description, uh, as I would like to see, uh, you know, us all grow together and there be, you know, finally a model that offers good distribution for everybody, where, where there is good distribution but at the same time there isn't a reduction in value. right? So that's very important that when you're dist— when you have a working distribution model, that you don't, um, diminish the value in that. That when, as the money moves, there has to be value equaling out to that money moving from person to person, and not just the money moving from people to people. And so I think that's also very important to understand that. But guys, uh, so far, um, like what I'm hearing about SOL as I look at the white paper. Here they have a kind of layout of their, their plans. I invite you to look at the white paper, different stages, different quarters of what's gonna happen. By the fourth quarter of 2018, they seem to be gaining total decentralized media storage, and by 2019, connectors, platforms, and a pay-per-engagement model, completely distributed immutable services. So it seems similar to a lot of other, you know, similar platforms. But I love the speed in which this is growing, that it can accommodate people. And guys, that's all I wanna say so far about Solar. I will continue on doing a series on Solarcoin, you know, up until I reach a point where I feel I've covered, you know, a lot information more about this coin, as there's a little bit more information I've seen to talk about. Guys, if you like content like this, don't forget to like and subscribe. And until next time, take care.
