In this YouTube commentary, the host discusses the rumored pay‑per‑view boxing showdown between rappers Soulja Boy and Chris Brown, allegedly promoted by Floyd Mayweather with training support from Mayweather for Soulja Boy and Mike Tyson for Chris Brown, orchestrated by 50 Cent. The speaker expresses skepticism about the event’s legitimacy and value, highlighting significant concerns: a noticeable weight and muscle disparity favoring Chris Brown, Soulja Boy’s lack of classical boxing training evident from poor shadow‑boxing and bike workouts, and the likelihood of a very short, low‑quality fight. The host likens the promotion to a P.T. Barnum circus spectacle, questioning whether the production will justify the pay‑per‑view price. He also muses that such fights could become a novel, less violent way for music‑industry rivals to settle beef, using examples like The Game or 50 Cent. While personally preferring Chris Brown’s music and being neutral toward Soulja Boy, the host invites viewers to comment on who they think should win, concluding with a call for audience engagement.

Hey guys, welcome back to the channel. Um, I was pretty adamant about not really doing videos on the music industry. I only did The Weeknd due to the quality of the video and it being quite artistic, but I didn't say I wouldn't do sports. And apparently, uh, this has made it onto ESPN. Uh, so unless you haven't been online, you probably already know about this beef between Chris Brown and Soulja Boy. So let me first off say I'm not one to really be concerned about celebrity personal business. Seemingly they step on each other's toes like everyone else. However, this is a bit different. This is a public concern because they are asking for public money in this event. Apparently Floyd Mayweather wants to promote a boxing match showdown between Soulja Boy and Chris Brown. So it appears it's going to be a pay-per-view match. Um, actually, I'm about 100% sure it will be that. Uh, so as I said, I'm not going to discuss the personal affairs that led to the fight. I'm not going to discuss Karrueche Tran or Rihanna. Um, I will say this though, if they want my money, they need to put on a good production, uh, because right now apparently Floyd will train Soulja Boy and Mike Tyson will train Chris Brown, um, as put in place by, uh, 50 Cent. And, um, I don't like right now what I'm seeing. Uh, you know, for instance, it seems to be quite a bit, quite a bit of a weight difference between Chris Brown and Soulja Boy. Chris seems to be carrying quite a bit more muscle as well as overall weight. So Soulja Boy at this event not being far off, it is possible to add a lot of muscle over a few months or so. However, to be able to do that with the added weight and be able to comfortably box with that change, uh, that may be a problem, um, because Soulja Boy doesn't look like he's had any prior classical boxing training. Um, in his videos, uh, he's shadowboxing and riding an exercise bike, and it looks horrible, and it looks— it looks like the fight may go 90 seconds or 60 seconds, and I don't want to be shoving out pay-per-view money for something like that. So a lot of concerns. But, um, you know, now in contrast to Chris Brown, uh, Chris already, uh, looks like he's had some good boxing lessons and he's already progressed well at it, you know. So I think Soulja Boy would need an entire year to train, or maybe even two. So I think Floyd, um, great businessman. I think he's becoming like P.T. Barnum. And if you don't know who P.T. Barnum is, you know, he had the title of the Greatest Showman on Earth, you know. Uh, basically, uh, he was involved with the circus, you know. When you see the Ringling Brothers and Barnum and Bailey Circus come to town, that's the P.T. Barnum they're talking about. And right now, this does feel like a circus or a spectacle. Soulja Boy's doing this terrible shadowboxing and riding an exercise bike, you know. You know, it's very hard to take this serious, but again, it seems not to be a joke. There's no indication thus far of some type of hoax or stage. We can only assume it's all real and legit. But in closing, I just want to say this. Wouldn't this be something if this is the new way to deal with beef in the music industry? Like, imagine if The Game or 50 Cent decided to handle and squash their beef in the same manner. That would be quite interesting and less deadly. I think that would be worth paying for if they can't seem to get along any other way. But anyway, personally, I like Chris Brown music. I never was a Soulja Boy fan, but didn't dislike him either. However, I'd imagine with some people, some ex-girlfriends, some people in the music business that was rubbed the wrong way either by Chris Brown or, uh, Soulja Boy, that they want to see them get knocked out in this fight. But anyway, what are you guys' thoughts? Do you want Chris to win or Soulja Boy to win? Comment, let us know. And that's all I got to say about that. Take care, guys.
