The review then shifts to the startup team—Nick, Izzy, and Ronald—who scramble to recover after the theft. The host emphasizes the precarious financial and legal situation, the investor’s looming legal action, and the team’s desperate attempts to stay afloat. Throughout, the reviewer offers personal reactions, calls the episodes "entertaining but uncomfortable," invites audience predictions, and ends with a standard YouTube call‑to‑action.

Hey you, welcome back to the channel. And guys, today we're going to review Startup episodes 5 and 6. We were left, uh, on our last episode with a kind of cliffhanger where we don't know if Maddie, uh, is dead or alive. Um, it appeared to me that she was probably dead. But as we get to see in the opening of this episode, uh, she is not dead, but she's not in good shape either. She's in very bad shape after being struck in the head by Dae-woo, who is the hacker who's involved with, um, Philip Rask, um, trying to hack the money and steal the money, as they successfully were able to do from Gencoin, with there only being one problem now: what to do with Agent Maddie. And we can see that, uh, Rask is struggling a lot with this. Uh, this wasn't part of the plan. Dae-woo, the hacker, happened to visit him at a time a romantic relationship ensued between him and Maddie, and she was able to put the pieces together that, uh, there is some dirty business going on with Raz and this hacker, uh, who should have been, uh, apprehended, but now he's visiting, uh, you know, obviously Agent Raz at his home. So, uh, now Raz is in a very bad situation. Although they've gotten the money, Daewoo is telling him that they have to kill Maddie, they have to tie up all loose ends. And, uh, the movement Agent Raz has from from a good cop to bad cop is going in accelerated mode. You know, now he's, uh, you know, looking at, uh, facing murder charges as well against another federal agent. So a very horrible situation he's in. And, you know, the scenes we're getting between him trying to come to terms with this, if he's going to kill Maddie or not, especially after their romantic, um rendezvous. Uh, it's a very psychological scene where we're seeing it from his perspective, and it seems to be shown from her perspective as being held hostage, trying to escape. And, uh, just interesting character played by, um Martin here playing Raz and his psychological view he has, you know, as he's— and I don't know if he's always been this, like, you know, this series we get in the first episode that there is the idea that Agent Phillip Raz was a good cop was a good agent. And so, um, his personality though seems so, uh, off at times. It seems like— I'm wondering, uh, was he always like this, or is this the idea that the character has transitioned like this? Because there are just some very psychological traits that Agent Raz exhibits that doesn't, doesn't seem like one could develop over a short period of time. So my assumption is he's been on this course to be a bad cop for a long, long time. And, uh, so, you know, Maddie's trying to— as we got to see, she's trying to, uh, much like a person who's in a hostage situation probably would do, they would probably try to say the things their captor wants to hear, uh, you know, in order to attempt to escape. And that's of course what, you know, Maddie does. And she, she tries first to, uh, emotionally reach Raz, saying, let's just take the money, we can go anywhere we wish. But, uh, you know, she's finding out this isn't working on Raz. And then she attempts to, uh, in the last, you know, uh, you know, minute effort, try to attack Raz, try to finally escape. And at this point, she struck looks like with a ceramic porcelain toilet lid. And this is, I think this was the final blow for Maddie, which it was. And, you know, in this moment, you know, Raz actually does kill her, but there's a lot of going back and forth with him and Dae-woo. And it's very, it's very, you know, we know that this situation isn't gonna end well, but, You know, Dae-woo has made it clear, and he's attempted several times to kill her. And, uh, so now he's closing up his deal with Dae-woo and Dae-woo's, um, you know, basically getting his cut, which is about $200,000 of the $2 million that was stolen. Um, and so I don't know what's going to happen with this character Dae-woo. Something about Dae-woo makes me think that his story isn't done yet. I don't know if Ras is going to circle back around and try to take him out because it just seems like, uh, to leave Dae-woo in the picture now, with Dae-woo being the only person that knows everything about Asian Ras and what's going on, that doesn't seem like tying up loose ends for Ras. So I don't think the story is over with Dae-woo, but at the same time, Dae-woo seems like a pretty smart character, so he's probably— I don't know how easy, if that's the plan, I don't know how easy he's going to be get rid of. But, uh, you know, anyway, so, um, you know, basically what's going on with the, with the rest of the, the, the, the, uh, the cast here is, uh, Nick is still, uh, trying to now figure out what to do after the money's been stolen. Uh, Izzy, Nick, and Ronald, you know, Ronald's now back in the picture, you know, although Ronald was, uh, put out, he was cast out. Uh, Ronald is now back, um, and comes up with this, uh, brilliant plan to where what they need to do is legitimize Gencoin, open up an office, get some interns, um, going. And, uh, you know, they're putting their money together. You know, he has, uh, he comes up with about $3,000 after the money's been stolen. Nick has about, um, $17,000 in a security fund, and, um You know, Ronald's already kind of out there himself, so everybody's on a timetable to, uh, get money back or it's going to be serious repercussions. Uh, Ronald has about 3 days with the $300,000 neighborhood money he's invested without their say-so. Uh, Nick is in trouble with, um, the investor who invested $1.5 million, uh, into the, uh, Gincoin project. And of course that money's been stolen now, and Nick's trying to stall for time. And so they do come up with this plan, they put it together. Uh, the idea is to double down now on the investor, try to get the investor, uh, you know, pretty much, uh, uh, to, you know, reinvest so that they can try to now make it work, because they really don't have any money. And the $20,000 they did manage to put together with, uh, renting this office and paying in, you know, and, um, well, they don't have to pay the interns, I would imagine, but running the office and just trying to run a legitimate operation is, uh, not gonna last long. In a few months, they're probably going to be dead broke. So they, they need to secure more funds. And so did this investor is smart, you know, he's catching on, and he said, well, no, I want to see some books. Where are the other investors? You know, he's figuring out that this is a, uh, you know, this— they're, they're basically, uh, took him for a ride with his money. And so he's letting them know, hey, I'm going to be back with lawyers and have them check all this out. And that's not going over well for the team, you know. It's gonna basically, uh, uh, you know, the, um, the gig is going to be up, so to speak. So, uh, they gotta scramble now, figure out what they're gonna do. And every week everybody's in these impossible situations. It's very interesting to see them able to maneuver one step forward by the skin of their teeth and just barely scrape by and, you know, and get out of the bad situation. Um, and, uh, so that's kind of keeping, you know, everything edge of your seat. And, uh, that's all, uh, very entertaining to watch and, uh, uncomfortable uncomfortable at times. So yeah, so, so far I'm really, I'm really liking these episodes, guys. I would love to hear some of you all predictions, you know, as to what you think's going to happen, you know, how they're going to get out of this next debacle that's heading their way. And so guys, that pretty much concludes my review of Startup episodes 5 and 6 this week. Uh, you know, Rask, Agent Rask, also he has a, uh, a problem, uh, with what he's going to do about this missing Asian he's killed and what he's going to do with the money. Is he just going to disappear? So we'll be finding that all out as this continues. Season 1 only has 10 episodes, so there are only 4 remaining.
