Welcome back to the channel, and I hope you all are having a great day. So we want to talk to you all today about the BTCMYK Music Player. This is version 2. This is a project that we put together where we wanted to have music artists take full control of their own destinies. This would involve a platform situation where the only thing they need to do is submit their original music. Um, in doing so, they'll receive promotion from the site, um, and compensation through the form of a cryptocurrency token that is connected to the amount of plays they get. Not just the plays they get, but the ratings and stars they get as well. And this is a screenshot of what it's probably going to appear like on many of your systems. I'm going to take you over to a functioning version on my system here in a second, but a lot different from the first version, which was horrible. That's why we had to move to version 2. But simple, clean. And as I said before, we're going to have many evolutions in this. The first approach was to design the system itself, make sure that the hardware was working how we wanted to in connection with the cryptocurrency. And so what you got here is you got a basic rating system, and you can't really see it on this screenshot. I'm going to take over in a second, but there are little stars up here. When you push the listen to the tracks, you select how many stars you think that this artist should deserve. You just click right on the icon. And each star you give the artist, we give them a cryptocurrency token. And it's quite interesting. It's a little bit different from what many situations Steam artists have been in. Generally, it's something like a— either whether it's a contest or stake-weighted voting. Through the, uh, Steam Blockchain vote system. This is something totally different. This is because this system works on, um, basically our version of an ERC-20 token, right? Uh, you can create tokens now in the Steam Blockchain. Uh, this— what this allows us to do is create a treasury of tokens to award our, uh, music— musical artists. Now, this is something that we weren't able to do uh, just integrating Steam into this system. Of course, we wouldn't have the treasury to be able to award artists the tokens, and eventually the tokens would run out. People couldn't just come in and upvote and they get the tokens, right? So, uh, the, uh, Steam Engine tokens allows us to be able to integrate this into this player and be able to do this. Now, where there's a little— a lot different from what many musical artists are gonna get on Steam again is just by the plays, you're gonna receive tokens, right? So you get, for each play you get, you get a BitcoinNYK token. For each star you get, you get a BitcoinNYK token. So that means if somebody comes in and plays one of your tracks, you're gonna get a token for that. And then let's say they reach 5 stars, you get a total of about 6 tokens for that. Right? So it's kind of— it's very interesting what it's doing, and what we're hoping it's going to achieve is, is to monetize these artists and give them independence from middlemen. So there's going to be, uh, people who are, uh, going their first, uh, uh, taking their first shot at singing maybe, or even if you're a seasoned artist, uh, this is going to be a way to get paid for your plays, right? So that's been the dream to kind of create a situation where as your music is streamed, you receive compensation for it based on the amount of plays, right? So that's the dream with this project. And that's what we've put together here. Uh, again, the layout is quite simple at this point in time. This is version 2, doesn't mean this is the final layout. Um, but, uh, it has some functional features that interest us and we're going to try to show them to you here. If you come over here, Over here, these are download buttons that actually will take you to the artist's, you know, places where you can get their music, get information about them, get fan information, things like that. So you can access that here on the player. Up here on the top, you can see all of the major social media sites, and it's very easy to basically just at one touch of a button send your music across all your social media. So all you gotta do is hit the buttons. It's also a great way to get your friends, family, and fans in to listen to your music. And so a very simple system, clean, but we think gets to the point of what we're trying to accomplish and how we're trying to award these artists, trying to make it very simple for them to come into the site We don't judge your music. We let the, the community judge it and social media judge it. Uh, you submit it to us, we put it on here. If they play it, if they listen to it, you're compensated for in our token. So there's a good way to start out if you're a musical artist trying to take a shot on social media, taking a shot over on YouTube, whatever the case may be. And the hope is by pulling in a lot of people into the site and they're getting to see, uh, these various talented artists that, uh, you know, a lot of this traffic will be shared and this will maybe give a chance for some artists to be recognized who, uh, probably wouldn't have been, uh, had this not happened. So let's go and show you a working copy now, uh, on another interface. Gonna look a little bit different on my system than yours, but this is how it should appear on your system for the most part. Some mobile applications might not look exactly like this, but let's go over and have you take a look at, uh, what's happening on ours. Okay, so this is how it looks on my system, the BitcoinMYK token per play, uh, platform here. And again, we're just gonna check out, uh, some of the information on how it works. It's a new way for Steam artists to earn on every track they play. Now, every time someone pushes play, you receive a BitcoinMYK token. Using the yellow bars, they can rate you in stars. Uh, each star gives you an additional token. So rate our artists and they gain even more tokens. If you're a musical artist, you certainly want to join us today. You absolutely— if you're trying to promote your music, this is just another way you're going to be able to get that great music out. Okay, so let's test out the star ranking system. So I gotta demonstrate it here. In order for you to upvote an artist, we use the star system. So I'm gonna come here and you can see I lit up some stars there, right? That's 1 star, 2 stars, 3 stars, 4 stars, 5 stars. So I rated José Cabrera 5 stars on his track. Uh, now what's gonna happen when I play the track? Okay, so he's automatically generating a token for that, and he's generating a token, or in this case would be 5 tokens for the 5 stars, right? So very simple. Um, also here Let's see here. Here we go. And this will demonstrate here. If you get down here, let me turn that down here. Turn it off rather. Get down here. You'll see here to the right-hand side. These are the download buttons as well. Now, some artists have them. Some of them haven't been put in yet. That means the artists haven't put in their information where you can either purchase their CDs directly from them. We do not sell the CDs. We don't have anything to do with that. Our whole business is the token treasury that we issue and the value of that token. The artist uses our platform to promote his music absolutely free, and the download button will link back to a system of their choice. We also have integrated into the site their own personal profile pages, fan pages, where they can basically just— let me see, I'll try to click on one here. They can basically— okay, here we go. They can put all their various links and information about their music, their fan page, and the like. So I'm going to click here. See where it takes me. It should take me to the, uh, user's page. Okay, and it does. It takes me to Mr. Darren's page, his profile page, and he hasn't filled it out yet. But what Darren would do is he would enter all of his different information about how much he wants to sell his music for, if he wants to sell it, its fan pages and the like, and a variety of things. So this is, this player is totally integrated into a social media site with many other features and integrated into the Steam Engine tokens as well. Right? So very quite the interesting project, what we're doing with this, with this player. And I think it's going to be great for Steamians to try it out. Steam It Artists right now, it is only available for Steam It Artists. Or you're gonna have to have a Steam account because you're gonna be paid in the Steam Engine token. And later on, we're gonna talk about some future plans where in the next video we will more likely be adding it to the Steam proposal system, get people involved, get artists involved. And we really believe that this is going to end up being basically a great way to get new people using the Steam blockchain. Music has been so integral into the social media space. I can't think of one successful social media platform that didn't have music so much integrated into it. And so it is very important for that to be an onboarding device. If done properly and merged properly with social media, we think we could see a tremendous amount of people entering the STEAM blockchain. Now another thing we do is because we have our own social media site, One big problem with the Steam blockchain has been basically onboarding people. And so what we can do is on our site, we're able to segregate these accounts and people can still earn our cryptocurrency, the BitcoinMYK token, while they're waiting to get their Steam account. They can also take those BitcoinMYK tokens they've earned through us and purchase a Steam account. If they don't want to wait for them or if for whatever reason they haven't been approved through the Steem blockchain. So we believe this is the way forward. We believe this is where it's headed to really make a difference in the social media world. And that's all I want to say in this video.
