Steem - Group Function - Bitcoin MYK Group

Welcome back to the channel. I hope you all are having a great day. So, uh, we want to talk about STEEM today, and we'd like to talk about the group function, a new function that was released on the STEEM blockchain. This is a part of the hard fork. So we know we have SMTs coming out, that's Smart Media Tokens. That's very Reminiscent of what you might get with an ERC-20 token. Steam has started now to develop tokenization on the site so people can come on the Steam blockchain, create their own token within the Steam blockchain. Now, why is that such a special thing unlike any other blockchain? Well, if you've used Steam, you know that Steam has a few advantages. One is It is very easy to use. It is quite identifiable as far as a wallet goes. It kind of reminds you of using something like PayPal or something. It is not one of these complex wallets you got to sync and do a variety of things. So I think that falls into favor with a lot of people. A lot of developers on the Ethereum chain have now started to make the switch to the Steem blockchain. So the Steem blockchain, as far as technology goes, at certain Points is an architectural marvel, uh, and I really like the Steem blockchain more so than any other blockchain as far as use. Um, and so that's coming out. Now what they've also done is they've created these groups within Steem. So kind of imagine, if you will, your own kind of little portal on the Steem blockchain where you can post social media within your own little area and, um, your community can upvote itself and, uh, Basically, we have one of those groups within the Steem blockchain. We're going to talk about that today. So we're here on the BitcoinMYK website. This is going to be, uh, ground zero for everything that you do with the BitcoinMYK project. Why is that? This is going to work like a hub that you can conveniently move to whatever applications on BitcoinMYK you want to do, or even on the Steem blockchain. So when you're on the site to get started, I first want to show you this because a lot of people get confused about this or they don't understand this part. What you do is you, you, you go down to, you scroll down to the bottom of the page and what you're gonna see is something like a power button, very similar to what you might get when you start up a device or your computer or something like that. That is how you start using the hub, right? What happens when you hit it? You hit the button and a menu pops up and it shows you everything you can do within your hub on the BitcoinMYK site. So you can do everything from playing games to earning more BitcoinMYK tokens. Remember, this is a token that's based on the Steem blockchain, so it operates on the Steem blockchain. And also, I also want to say one of the big advantages to using the Steem blockchain is not only is it one of fastest blockchains in all of cryptocurrency. The transactions are, yep, free. So you don't have that inconvenience of having to pay fees every time you get ready to send something. And did I mention that it's super fast? So you can do all this, these various things. Some are offers. You can get the CryptoTab browser. You purchase one of my favorite simulated miners, which is a game that simulates the mining operation of cryptocurrency. But the twist is you actually earn BitcoinNYK tokens that could trade on the in your marketplace. You can earn gift cards. Um, you can earn, um, you can do something that's related to Fiverr where people can hire you to do tasks, or vice versa. You can, uh, put in ads to say you're looking for work. And all this is paid and facilitated in the Bitcoin MYK token. We have the link to the exchange where we trade. We have a market prediction game, which is like an option game excuse me, similar to what you might get on Augur, where you predict where the market price of our token and others may end up. We also have, um, a trading card game that's new that we're trying out, where you become the character in the game, and as your cards are sold, you earn half of the, uh, revenue. And then we have the Bitcoin MYK music site, which is actually a streaming service right now for Steam artists, where they can earn basically our tokens for every time somebody plays their track. So that's pretty cool. Look through our video series, you can find out more about that. But what we're interested in today is Steam Group. So on our hub, we got on the social network, right? Because that's where most of our social media and posting is going to take place. So when you hit it, it should take us over to— voilà. It's taking us over to BitcoinMYK on Steemit. So what's happening here? Well, you're able to post, you're also able to earn Steem. As you can see here, you're earning Steem rewards, you're earning Steem, but you're not just earning Steem, you're earning BitcoinMYK tokens as well in relation to your Steem. And so this has just been released, this is all new. And, uh, so our group is just learning about it with this video. So we expect that, uh, well, we have almost about 1,000 registered accounts now. We expect to start seeing a lot of those people now come over to the site, start using our group function here. Um, what's going to be really cool about this, like I said, you will earn two cryptocurrencies. You're gonna earn STEEM, uh, by posting here with the rest of our community, but then you're also going to earn Bitcoin MYK and a good amount, especially in the beginning. So that's why it's important to get in. We're gonna run several contests. The person who does the most posts, like say in the first few weeks, you're gonna earn something like 1,000 Bitcoin MYK tokens. We're gonna have different levels of prizes. So It's gonna be cool. You do everything from one place. You don't have to worry about going here or there. We have an instant message server. One thing that's big in the Steam community I see a lot is that they use Discord. Now, this is totally counterproductive to what I would say is a good way to run a business, right? Steam is now depending a lot on ads. And so what they would probably want to do, or Steam It rather, is have more people in one area, in one place as possible. They don't want their traffic going someplace else because they lose value and money that way.
