Steem HF21 - Aftermath/ Steempeak Review

In this video, the presenter reflects on the aftermath of Steem Hard Fork 21, describing it as the best fork to date despite mixed opinions about earlier forks. He highlights new blockchain features such as the Steem Proposal System (SPS) and the Economic Incentive Program (EIP), emphasizing their role in funding community projects. The bulk of the review focuses on the SteemPeak front‑end, praising its user‑friendly interface, integrated token portfolio view, and the fact that it hosts the SPS, positioning it as a superior alternative to the official Steemit.com site. The speaker then explains the emerging Smart Media Token (SMT) ecosystem, including SCOT tokens and the Steem Engine Marketplace, noting how these ERC‑20‑like tokens enable project fundraising. He uses this context to promote his own initiative—a Bitcoin sidechain deflation token—claiming it could inject $1.7 billion into the Steem blockchain and potentially lift STEEM’s price to $50‑$100. He urges viewers to sign up on SteemPeak, up‑vote his proposal, and try the offered BitcoinMYK tokens. The video concludes with optimistic remarks about Steem’s community strength compared to EOS and a standard call‑to‑action for likes and subscriptions.

Welcome back to the channel, and I hope you all are having a great weekend. So coming, uh, after the aftermath here, uh, of Hard Fork 21, bit of a bumpy ride, uh, but I think we came out of this all right. And, uh, probably the best hard fork I think up to now. Um, some people were saying they like Hard Fork 19 better. Um, the last few years back, um, I certainly didn't like Hard Fork 20, but many of us do like Hard Fork 21 now that we're seeing what's happening. And some of the features that came out of it I think are going to lead to great improvements, uh, within the Steem blockchain. Um, and such, uh, uh, features that have come out of it is the Steem Proposal System and the, um, Economic Incentive Program, or the EPS, and EIP system. And so we're here to— on the Steam Peak interface front-end. Steam, it's a Steam blockchain site, probably at this point one of my most favorite because it has a lot of features. But not only does it have a lot of features here, the— it basically has the interface interface put into it to run the Steemit proposal system. And, you know, that's quite important to get people getting funding for some great projects that are hopefully gonna change the Steemit blockchain and propel it to the next level. So we're hoping that's what's going to happen. And so SteemPeak is the only interface that I'm aware of that has the proposal system up that we joined. But in addition to that, when you go into your wallets, this is pretty cool. So a lot of us have been talking about the, um, the what is called the, um, Smart Media Tokens or SMT tokens that's supposed to be coming out, uh, uh, sometimes, uh, with, with Steam. But the program, the SCOT tokens part of protocol it runs on is available now on the Steam Engine Marketplace. And this creates this situation where the community can launch projects with their own tokens, similar and reminiscent to ERC-20 tokens. And in doing this, they're able to raise funds for projects that can hopefully make Steam, the blockchain, more valuable to the end user. Where Steampeak impressed me the most is what they've done, and I kind of had this idea, or I was hoping that Steamit.com would have done this when these tokens first came out, and that is integrated into the Steamit.com pages. So that didn't happen, but Steampeak has proven to be just an awesome user interface. I think pretty soon everybody's gonna be using something like Steampeak. But it shows in a very neat format all of your tokens in one place, right? And not only their tokens, but the value of all your tokens, right? And so, you know, along with that, basically it's all neat in one package and also the Steam proposal system. And we'll take a look at that, but all happening on this great on this great interface. So I'm very proud of the work SteamPeak has done. I think they kind of share a vision with me on how things should, you know, work on the Steam blockchain. And if I'm not mistaken, I've heard some talks from some of the people who put SteamPeak together, and they just have a variety of other great outreach programs and initiatives going as well. But Let's try to get over to the proposal system and we can just take a look at, you know, what's going on over there. So still running the proposals here is a variety of things. We kind of covered some of this earlier and this is the system that allows the Steemit community to now come in and basically be able to get funding for projects that are hopefully gonna make the Steem blockchain a great deal better. And some projects that are coming up doing pretty good. We got someone who wants to sue Facebook and Google. It's just all types of things. They have the annual Steem Fest event, and it's a type of, looks like, refund program with that. And I wouldn't mind going to that. I'm not sure where it's gonna be held this time, but I I haven't had the privilege of making it to any yet. I think the last one was out of the country, but maybe I'll get lucky this time and be able to make it. And here's our project getting down here, Bitcoin sidechain deflation token. And would love for you guys to check it out, see what you think about it. Want to bring about $1.7 billion to the Steem blockchain, and we think we have an effective way to do that. But Steampeak is just a, just a great platform. Of course, you can post from it. Let's take a look here. I'm not logged in, but let me see what their front page looks like here. The intuitive way to experience everything Steam, that's Steampeak. And here it does have your various categories. Yeah, it has its main page, front page. And I just like the way it's put together. So I wanted to to bring that all to your attention. If you're a Steamian, try out SteamPeak. I think you're gonna love it. It's really cool. I tell you what, try it out and give us a contact. You can leave it on a video or one of our posts and let us know that you just signed up for SteamPeak and stuff like that. And what we'll do is we'll send you over some BitcoinMYK tokens. What about that? And you can trade them on Steam Marketplace and uh, earning some, earning some crypto, right? But I love what they've done to this. This is, this is, uh, well, I don't, I don't know, they just kind of took their own initiative here, um, and like Steemit Inc., Steemit.com, the website, uh, you know, I don't know, I mean, it's going to be a lot of interfaces I think that are going to give the Steemit Inc., uh, interface a run for its money, right? Uh, and I think, I think that's going to be kind of important for SteamIt Inc. because they are doing ads now and seeking advertising. But I think the reality is, in order to keep up that appeal, they're going to need to basically, you know, probably work on that interface a little bit and want to keep people wanting to advertise on SteamIt.com. But it's all very interesting, and I like where it's going. Uh, we survived hard fork 21, um, pretty, pretty good. Um, I'm pretty much happy with the way things have turned out. Some people are still kind of don't like where it went. Uh, some people are do, but one thing I, I think that's going to be clear, and that is the future for the Steem blockchain is going to be a good one. Uh, I, I believe it's just going to be a matter of time for a good product, good application decentralized application comes along, one that a lot of people want to use because, you know, Steam just has really good branding and just has a great community. And, you know, looking at like EOS, I just don't feel EOS has really put together that same community like Steam has. I could be wrong. I haven't really had any success using any of their social media features on the EOS site. But, uh, we'll see how things, uh, go and how things end up. But that's all I want to say, um, in this video. Don't forget to, uh, check out our project. Go over there to the Steam proposal system and upvote us. You can vote for free, uh, vote on us. Let's get this project to the Steam blockchain. We believe it's going to raise your value tremendously. Uh, you know, of course No guarantees, uh, but some of our predictions: if we can bring $1.7 billion to the STEEM blockchain, which we believe we can, we believe we could potentially raise the value of STEEM anywhere from about $50 to $100. And if you read our plan and take a look at it, uh, there are some reasons why we think that's quite possible, uh, and, uh, we have some data to back that up. But, uh, those are the kind of predictions we're looking at. And, uh, so come on over, um, join our website, uh, join our sites like SteamPeak, uh, great interfaces, and we think you're gonna love it. But that's all I want to say in this video.
