In this video, the presenter introduces the STEEM Leo (SteemLeo) project, explaining that it operates on the STEEM blockchain and uses SCOT tokens (the STEEM equivalent of ERC‑20) which will later become SMT tokens. He describes how tokenized communities (hives) are created to match users’ interests, making it easier for members to gain value from content that aligns with their preferences. The speaker emphasizes his personal interest in the investment‑focused side of the ecosystem, noting that SteemLeo covers both cryptocurrency and traditional investing topics. He shares his recent experience joining the SteemLeo Discord, highlights the community’s active discussions about Bitcoin, crypto, and market analysis, and encourages viewers with similar interests to check it out. The video also promotes the BitcoinNYK project, which has a proposal submitted to the new Steam Proposal System (SPS) aimed at improving onboarding and value creation on the STEEM blockchain. The presenter mentions that tokens like STEAMLEO are now visible in multiple wallet interfaces such as SteamPeaks and PAL Network, making token management more convenient. He concludes with an optimistic assessment of the STEEM blockchain’s growth despite its “growing pains,” and asks viewers to support the BitcoinNYK proposal, like, and subscribe.

Welcome back to the channel, and today want to talk about the STEAM Leo project. So I have been hearing quite a bit about this project here and there, never got a chance to check it out, wasn't sure exactly what they did, but, uh, they're part of STEAM blockchain, part of the, uh, STEAM Engine Marketplace, uh, the SCOT tokens. They're basically like the ERC-20 version of Ethereum for the STEAM blockchain, SCOT tokens, or what the STEAM blockchain will later integrate as SMT tokens along those lines. And what's happened is many communities have been established that do a variety of things. They're like their own hives, and the idea of this is to attract, uh, people to communities that speak to their interests, and they're all tokenized communities. So you can kind of gain value in prospective communities that are more representative of your interests. And that's very important because I think part of the problem before, specifically when you're dealing with something like the Steemit blockchain or sites like Steemit.com and curation of polls, is that if people don't share your same interests, it's probably gonna be a little bit harder for you to get value from that. So there's a series of these communities there that have been established that, you know, work in their own perspective ways. And I think it works a great deal better. Like, I certainly think the Steam Leo project more speaks to me because I like to deal with the investment portions of the blockchain. I like to understand the, the price of the, of the, the coins and a variety of investment material information. This seems to span not just cryptocurrency but more so traditional investing in a variety of, of ideas like this. So I got a chance to go into their Discord earlier today and I had great conversations in there. You know, like I said, it definitely speaks more to the nature of my interests. And so I'm going to be checking out the Steam Leo project a great deal more. Just signed up today. If you're on the Steam blockchain and you like this area of the community, You know, if you're more into the investment part of the money part of it, then this is going to be for you. And just kind of looking through some of the posts, I seemingly know some of these people. Um, and they got interesting posts about a variety of, um, investments and, uh, just things going on here with Bitcoin and cryptocurrency in general, Steam Engine Marketplace. So it looks pretty darn good. Um, Again, certainly try it out if you're, you know, interested more in that perspective. I think a lot of us are kind of focused on the price of Steam right now, and, you know, because of that, trying to understand how the market's working and what's going on might as well interest some of you who it hasn't interested before. So you can probably check out something like Steam Leo, but I'm gonna start doing some posts over here. And I just want to tell y'all real quick, the BitcoinNYK project that's trading on the Steam Engine Marketplace now has a proposal as part of the new Steam Proposal System or SPS system. And we really like your support. We think we might be offering something that's gonna deal with some core problems in the Steam blockchain, specifically with onboarding and trying to get more value to the blockchain. So that's going to be all quite interesting to see what comes of this system. And we're very, very optimistic about it so far. They have done a tremendous job, and all your Steam Engine tokens like STEAMLEO and a variety of others are now featured in many of the interfaces, wallets, such as SteamPeaks and, uh, PAL Network. So you can see all of your cool Steam Engine tokens in one place. Uh, and, uh, yeah, that's pretty convenient and just pretty cool stuff. So I, you know, definitely pleased with some of these new developments, uh, with the blockchain. This is a blockchain that has a great deal of potential, um, and it's Growing through its problems, its growing pains, and, uh, you know, coming out, coming out a little bruised and battered sometimes, but, uh, definitely on the right track and getting there, you know, more and more these days. But anyway, I'm going to leave our link to our Steam proposal, uh, here, um, and if you happen to see this, check us out, see if you feel that our proposal is addressing some of the issues on the Steam blockchain, if you like them, and if you think it's a good idea what we're saying, go ahead and give us a vote so that we could move forward to try to help improve the blockchain. But that's all I got for you all in this video. If you like content like this, don't forget to like and subscribe. And until next time, take care.
