Steem - New Way To Earn On Post!

In this video Michael Joseph Presley introduces a new companion project for the Steem blockchain that distributes Tribe/SCOT‑like ERC‑20 tokens to content creators. Users submit a link to any live Steem post (regardless of front‑end) and automatically receive tokens based on three criteria: a reputation score of 65 + (5 tokens), having 5,000+ followers (5 tokens), and an optional staking multiplier (each 100 tokens staked adds 1 extra token per post). Tokens are valued at roughly $0.07–$0.08 each, so a maximum of 10 tokens per post translates to about $0.70. Payouts are processed within up to seven days after submission. The presenter emphasizes that the system is a simple, democratic vote‑based complement to existing Steem reward mechanisms (proof‑of‑brain, stake‑weighted voting), not a replacement. He claims the project is part of the Steem proposal system and could inject $170 million–$1.7 billion of value and attract 1–3 million new users. The video ends with a call to like, subscribe, and explore the provided links.

Hey, you all, welcome back to the channel. And today I want to talk about a new way for Steemit users, the Steemit blockchain users, to earn on their content and posts that they do on a variety of Steemit frontend sites, Steemit.com sites. Now the newly added Tribe community, Tribe tokens that uses something reminiscent of what you might get with ERC-20 tokens on the Ethereum blockchain. And what we've done is we decided to create a project that complements many of these projects. We didn't really want to, I guess you could say, go so far outside of the ecosystem and our ideas to where, you know, it would be more so a saturation of, I think, a lot of time spent on social media. Some of these statistics suggest that we spend an average of about 5 minutes per day on our favorite used social media sites. And so what's ever becoming clear is that there are more and more social media interactions coming out to the point it is becoming so overwhelming to us that many of us just cannot keep up. And, uh, because of that, it's You know, I guess for lack of a better word, I kind of feel like it's spreading us a little bit too thin. But at the same token, as some are, I think, more conditioned, more specific to certain niche markets, that does make sense that everybody can kind of just move off into their own communities and collectively there present some value to the blockchain. But what we found is even a more simpler way to get value from many of these projects and posts that many from the Steem community are participating in. And we use a very simple process right now. We do have a Steemit front-end site that's been up, and you still earn through proof of brain, the proof of brain algorithm. We have a specific system internal to our project you can also post on, and it works more on the, on a vote system. That is related more to a democratic process than a stake-weighted process. So many of us have entertained ideas like this. I think the important thing is that together and collectively, as we try many different approaches to make Steemit a much more user-friendly experience and system to people coming in, I think that experimenting with different models is going to give them a chance to work amongst projects they like. So what we've done is put together a very simple interface to deal with it, and it basically works like this. When you, whenever you post on a Steemit blog or a Steemit frontend site or something to that effect, there is a link to your post you generate, right? It doesn't have to come from steemit.com. As long as it's related to the Steem blockchain, you're allowed to post your Enter your post details here, uh, the link to your post, and you're given what is essentially the Steem blockchain's version of ERC-20 tokens, uh, with Ethereum, uh, the SCOT tokens. You receive so many of those tokens from us automatically just based on the post right now. How is determined how many tokens you get is based on something many of us are familiar with on the Steem blockchain called the reputation score. right? So your reputation score is selected and the amount of followers you have are selected. So as you can see in this example, if you had a rep score of 65 or higher, you receive 5 tokens on every post you submit. And if you had followers of 5,000 or more, you receive 5 tokens on that. So that means you earn 10 of our tokens now, which is on a post automatically, which right now its market value is something like about half of a STEAM $1, right? So you're looking at something like around 7, 7, 8 cents, right, per, you know, per token. So an example like this, if you were able to get, you know, the full amount, which is 10, that would be something like 70 cents for every post you make in dollar value. So this is a new method for steamers. I think it's a way that especially new steamers or people who just aren't getting curations, there's a way to help with that. And we're not promising you'll make a lot of money as the value of the token changes, but we can pretty much tell you that it will add value to something you're already doing. You can submit posts that you've already done on Steemit. The only thing is the posts do have to be current, meaning that they have to be live posts when they're submitted. And much like how the Steem blockchain works, uh, from the time you submit your post, you're given, uh, payouts can take up to 7 days, right? And so you just, uh, submit your Steem information. Now where it does kind of get back to similar to stake-weighted voting is we have a little special system if you want to stake our tokens, and we call it the multiplier. And how it works basically is, um, for every 100 tokens you stake, you're going to get an extra token per post, right? So if you stake at least 100, you're going to get 1 extra token plus, uh, so many tokens for the amount of followers you have and so many tokens for the amount of rep score. So you got to get something in every category, right? If you have 1 follower, you're still going to receive at least 1 token up to 100. So this is designed to be very, very simple and easy to use to work with other Steam systems, Steam front ends, and a variety of things. And it is, it is meant to work as a companion to these other Steam projects. It's not meant to replace them. It's not meant to compete with them in that sense. It is meant to give you more value to the posts you already make. So this is definitely something you, you want to try out. I think you're going to like it if you do it. Since you're posting anyway, you might as well earn a little bit more money on your posts you're posting anyway, right? So again, our goal is to make this very, very, very simple. Right, we feel part of the issue with STEAM has been some things have been more difficult than they need to be, and so we believe that this will make sense to a lot of people. They'll start to resolve it provided they understand how to use it, and it's very simple to use. A lot of people, I think, are looking for it to be more to it than it is, and they're looking more at the stake-weighted voting model, but you have to keep in mind, you have to remember Although we're not making a statement that proof of brain doesn't work, we're making a statement that the Steem blockchain has many uses and many advantages, and at this point in time, we would like to explore something outside of proof of brain. We believe there are so many advantages to the Steem blockchain as far as the free transactions, the speed of the network, We believe we will eventually be able to convince a large amount of Bitcoin holders that they should be using the Steem blockchain. Many of you all are already Bitcoin holders on the Steem blockchain. You could be collecting BitcoinNYK tokens for free based on the holdings you have in Bitcoin right now. So that's kind of where we're at with this, but very excited about how this is gonna work. People are using it right now, and a lot of people are satisfied with the results they're getting. They're earning extra money on posts they already created throughout these Steam front-end sites and projects. But that's all I want to say in this video. If you like content like this, don't forget to like, subscribe. Also, our project is part of the Steam proposal system. That is, these are projects that are funded now by the Steam blockchain to bring a great deal more value to Steam. We're estimating we can bring anywhere from about $170 million to $1.7 billion to the Steem blockchain. We're estimating through our data we can bring potentially about 1 million more active users, between 1 to 3 million people. And this is data we've researched, this is data we've compiled, this is data that is probably, I think at this point, unquestionably pretty much accurate. Uh, and we'll leave links and information and data on that. You can check out yourself and, and see if it, uh, uh, pans out as much as we think it does. But that's all I want to say in this video.
