Steem Stimulus Package Faucet Budget Proposal

A proposal to distribute STEEM tokens daily to registered users through a faucet, starting with 5,000 STEEM. Revenue from referrals and a marketplace funds ongoing payouts, creating a self-reinforcing loop. Weekly reports will track disbursements and community receipts.

Hey you, welcome back to the channel. And guys, today, uh, we want to talk about a budget proposal originally proposed by Jerry Banfield. Similar structure had been going on with Dash to raise money that was very successful. So this idea has come to Steemit as a much more efficient way to raise money for projects on Steemit. Which helps the economy and ecosystem. So today I'm proposing something called the STEAM Stimulus Package Faucet Budget Proposal. And the objective of a stimulus package is to reinvigorate the economy, to prevent reversals in the system by boosting spending. In our case, we want to encourage the purchase of STEAM and use case of STEAM as a functional token for mass adoption and use. To achieve that, you want a healthy and stable economy, and cryptocurrencies can be quite volatile, making it ever so difficult to achieve stable and healthy economies. Good signs of healthy economies and markets are widely used coins that create a more stable market with a tighter margin. Also, what's important in a healthy economy is being able to distribute across that economy efficiently and effectively so that the economy is sustainable as enough people hold the tokens. What is problematic is if a very low amount of token holders hold a mass amount of the coins, whether that's due to not enough money coming in or value not being, uh, generated. Our proposal is to boost and prevent such situations on the Steemit platform. This, we believe, can be attained by a manufactured stimulus package. How this would work is Steemit account holders will be able to visit our website, enter their Steemit ID. Every day, we will release in increments the amount of coins per person which submits their credentials, and this will be distributed in equal amounts. The amount will randomly change based on the amount of funds available. This will help to improve distribution across the network. Unfortunately, this won't be enough. The problem with stimulus packages are that sometimes people don't spend the money appropriately. Again, in our case, that would amount to not holding or not buying STEEM. So the actual STEEMIT stimulus package exercise through a faucet will only be the first step in the project. The next step will be, once enough people are on the site, to monetize their attention value. The success of the cryptocurrency market depends on people actually using and trading the coins in markets for goods and services. To exchange the coins for fiat currencies will at some point be of detriment to the markets. So full use of coins need to be observed with One way we plan to achieve this is through attention value. So in the event of sell-offs of STEAM from our faucets, we plan to utilize attention value to generate new capital into the STEAM blockchain. This will be obtained through monetizing the traffic. How this would work would be a very simple process of moving money from one place to another. One of many examples we plan to use is a go-between site like Qme.com. Qme.com is a safe, non-intrusive search browser. It pays through normal Google searches. When you search your favorite blogs from Steemit.com on Google, you're actually paid monies. The site or webmaster is paid in the form of being a referral. What happens is the monies we are paid, portions are used collectively to buy Steemit. The other portion is used to buy on the market rebate coins, rather, in the form of Miko's Coin. This is important as it motivates Faucet users to continue to use such services that generate income to the site and back into the Steemit.com platform. Another method we will use is selling promotional products for posts on Steemit. So as monies are received in the faucet, some may buy such products in our marketplace. This way the coins continue to circulate within the Steemit ecosystem. This is an overall systematic approach to introducing new money to Steemit as well as creating a more healthy economy through means of distribution of the coins. Each time users participate in such non-intrusive programs through us, they receive rebate tokens or MECO's coin, which serve as both a marketable tradable token, uh, onto itself, uh, similar to what we'd expect from SMT tokens, uh, to provide, you know, whilst using the Steemit blockchain. The visitors to the site, as well as being paid through such services, will receive both STEEM and MECO coins to serve as incentive to trade the coins on the market for monies they can either buy more STEEM with or cash out. In any event, they would have created a new source of capital that is able to enter the STEAM markets. All liquid capital or SBD or STEAM will be given back into the faucet. Any post related to this topic, liquid SBD proceeds that are available will be given to the faucet in equal increments sent out each day. So how much do we need in our budget proposal? As our website is now available, we'd only need about 5,000 STEEM to distribute initially. It is important to note we won't need any monies directly to fund this project, only to distribute. For example, if we were able to distribute 1,000 STEEM to 500 people in one day, each person would receive about $2 in STEEM per person. Or, or rather to STEAM. We, we would only collect the same portion of the proceeds as everyone else. Each week we do a report how much funds were released and how much the community received. As these posts will be upvoted, we use those monies to distribute to STEAMians who use the faucet. We would require no direct monies. However, Proceeds from posts that aren't liquid we retain for our own use into Miko's Coin to serve as a rebate coin to continue to encourage use of people using our site joining programs such as QMe to keep the ability to bring in new capital onto Steemit. After about 5,000 STEEM is received that is liquid, no further monies will be needed to collect All post monies will be given to the faucet that are liquid, such as in the form of Steemit Dollars. A few interesting details: a healthy Steemit economy will as well require a good growth rate and capital injection. Today, social media only has about 5 minutes per site available to the average user. It is very important that social media applications be user-friendly and easily understandable for success of mass adoption. We believe that making it possible for people to participate in Holstein by doing normal things they do every day serve as a key recipe to achieving this. We believe some of the ideas we've discussed may help to remedy such issues, uh, and we thank you very much for your consideration of our proposal. We hope that Steemit flourishes into a healthy economy across the board. So guys, that's a proposal that I've, you know, we've recently proposed here to Steemit.com to help it jump over some of the hurdles of, you know, what generally can happen when you have issues with distribution and you want your platform to flourish as an overall, you know, platform, an economy. And so I really like the project that Jerry Banfield started. I like where Steemit is going, and I see great success for the platform in the future. But guys, that's our proposal. If you have any questions, please feel free to comment below and Maybe you can make us some suggestions, or maybe you have some of your own. And if you do so, I encourage you to check out the budget proposal program that Jerry Banfield started. Guys, if you like content like this, don't forget to like and subscribe.
