Steemit Chat

Hey you, welcome back to the channel. And guys, today we're going to talk about Steemit chat. So, you know, as many of us join Steemit and we see that Steemit is in a beta testing mode still, you know, there have been many additions made on to Steemit and Some of the commentary among some of the things that Steemit members wanted to see was they wanted to see a chat messenger service or a messenger service and a chat function. And so on the main site, you will probably notice that that feature is not available as Steemit is still in its beta testing mode and doesn't have quite all the bells and whistles on it that maybe some people want to see. But what I've been doing is I've been going over to Steemit Chat in the evening, sometimes during the daytime, see what's going on with, you know, other members of the Steemit community who want to chat, who are interested to see what other members of the community are doing. Met some cool people over there, and this is a good place to go if you want to get more information about Steemit, if you just want to talk live to some people who've probably been around on the platform quite a bit of time, know some things, and so far it's been a pretty good experience with the Steam It chat features. There's direct messaging, people create various groups and various rooms for various things, and you can check those out as well. The one thing you probably don't want to do is though, is go into rooms that that don't want promotion. Like a lot of times people go in the general part of the Steemit chat area and right away they start posting, you know, their latest post and trying to, you know, promote their material. And there is a promotional room for that. So if you do come over and join us, make sure you use the promotional room to promote your content. Content. Uh, not a good idea to go in other rooms promoting your content and the room's not set up for that. It's annoying to people. More than likely, they're probably not going to check it out or upvote it anyway. So, uh, not a good thing to do. But just come on over, get to know the community, and that's, uh, the way that you get to meet people, interact with people, find out what everybody's doing. And people like your content, they'll follow you. If you like yours, you know, you can follow theirs. But so far, a good option for people who are looking for that Messenger feature. Good option for people who just want to do some live chat, find out what's going on in the world. I'll be over there. Come over there and chat a little bit with me if you like.
