Steemit - How To Get Followers (EASY)

In this solo tutorial, the creator shares practical, low‑effort tactics for growing a follower base on Steemit, especially for newcomers. He explains that many high‑follower accounts succeed because they consistently produce quality content and have been on the platform for a long time, but new users can still gain followers quickly by focusing on the platform’s “new” section, following and being followed back by other newcomers, and leaving thoughtful comments in categories they genuinely care about. He warns against chasing large‑scale accounts (whales) because they are unlikely to follow back, and emphasizes building a community and relationships over immediate monetary gains. The video concludes with a call to action to like, subscribe, and follow the presenter on Steemit.

Hey you, welcome back to the channel. And guys, today we want to talk about how to get followers on Steemit. And going into my second week now, approaching about 400 followers. Very interesting. Um, you know, as I look around and I have, you know, seen Steemit users who have these great followings, 5,000 people, 10,000 people, you know, one thing that seems to, you know, they all seem to have in common is number one, a lot of them are putting out really good content. Really good, great blog posts and things like that. And number 2, they have time behind them. They have time on their side. They've probably been in the game about maybe about close to a year now. And then you have some people who are just pretty much right off the bat just killing it, a lot of followers, a lot of money, bringing in a lot of money. But for the newbies like myself and probably some of you guys watching the video right now, You know, what I found that works as I see my following account goes up, or my list of followers going up, is, uh, well, one section that I think doesn't get talked about a lot, a lot of people don't point to, is the news section up here at the left-hand side. And when you go through the news section, you can see a lot of probably newbie Steemit users who are looking for followers just like the rest of us. And, you know, at first glance doesn't look very impressive, but when you think about the large number of new people trying to get exposure here on Steemit, you know, it becomes evident that there are not only a lot of them, but they're very, you know, excited to get new followers. And so a lot of times, in cases I found, what happens is when I go over to the new sections, look at the, you know, the newest posts in categories that interest you, you know, I find people that are, you know, basically, you know, follow me back when I follow them, you know, especially like in the introduction, introductory section. Section. So, you know, I find that to be probably one of the easiest ways to get followers here on Steemit. I know a lot of people usually rush off to the trending section, the hot section, and they generally might follow someone who has a great following. And there's nothing wrong with that. That's, you know, if you're interested in the content they're putting out, sure, you know, you should follow them. Probably not gonna have a lot of success with them following you back. And there's a practical reason for that, and that reason is, you know, it got a lot to do with— it's like standing out over a sea full of people and you're looking over that ocean, and as vast as that ocean gets, it gets very difficult to see who's in the ocean. So, you know, it's gonna be very difficult for a lot of people with large followings to follow you back. So, you know, I think it would be a great idea to follow new people who are like you, who are putting out similar content like yourself, and you guys can grow together. That's basically one approach I'm taking, and it seems to be working on my follower account. Now, you won't be getting like large, necessarily large amounts of money per blog post because a lot of, in a lot of cases, these new people won't have the voting power, they won't have the Steam powers. They're, you know, still new, like you, like— but, uh, you know, it's much easier to get them, and, uh, there is, um, you know, the numbers, so to speak. But not only that, guys, uh, you know, this is a very powerful platform, you know, even if you go beyond just picking up Steam at dollars and, uh, you know, just focus on building, um, a great community, building relationships, uh, you know, whatever other businesses you have, whatever, whatever, whatever other products you're promoting. This is also a great avenue to get people in front of, you know, whatever you're producing, whatever type of business you have. So these, this is all, you know, very, uh, all this I see is upside. You know, and it works quite well, you know. But in addition to that, you know, you can also get followers by commenting. And that's, you know, your comments. I think that's very underrated where you comment. But the secret to the right comment, I think, or commenting right, is going things, sections and categories you're really in. You know, a lot of times people will try to just, you know, comment on whales' posts and big blogs and a lot of things like that in order to try to, you know, get some, you know, get some exposure and things like that. But what happens in a lot of cases is if you're not really interested in the you know, in the material or the category, your comment probably isn't gonna be that great either, you know. So that's why it's very important to focus on a category that very much interests you, and you can write a very good comment, you can get some exposure, you can possibly get a follower because you've written such a great comment, you know. So guys, those are some of my tips on how to get the best followers. Don't overlook the new guy. He's gonna follow you back. He's gonna be loyal to you. You know, he's not going to, you know, decide if he should follow you back or not. He's probably more likely gonna do it. So guys, those are my thoughts on how to get followers quick. If you like content like this, don't forget to like and subscribe. Don't forget to follow me on Steemit. And until next time, guys, take care.
