Superman Trailer - Top 5 Trailer Of All Time/Most Anticipated Film 2025

In this YouTube commentary, the presenter discusses the newly released Superman Legacy trailer, noting its placement among the top five biggest trailer debuts ever. He cites an estimated 250 million views and extrapolates YouTube AdSense earnings, arguing that the trailer’s ad revenue could exceed the total box‑office gross of the recent flop Kraven the Hunter, which had a $110 million budget but only $52.5 million in earnings. The speaker then predicts that Superman Legacy could surpass the $1 billion box‑office mark, despite potential fan backlash over DCU changes, and highlights the film’s July 11, 2025 release date and its status as the most anticipated movie of 2025. The video concludes with a standard call‑to‑action to like, subscribe, and stay tuned for further updates.

Welcome back to the channel. I hope you're having a great evening. So today, guys, I wanted to talk about the Superman Legacy trailer is, is now ranked the— in the top 5 of the biggest trailer debuts ever in history, right? So, um, this is all very, um, interesting. Also, it's important to keep in mind that this, um, these, these particular movies, right, that, uh, have emerged as the most viewed trailers of all time history trailers. Um, it's important to keep in mind that all these movies made in a window between $1 to $2, you know, $2 billion, right? So you're— so, uh, does that mean Superman's gonna do that? I believe that it, it will cross the billion-dollar threshold. Now, some people don't believe that necessarily will be the case because there still does seem to be a division amongst, you know, some people who actually go out and view the movie. You know, as to say, you know, you're gonna have Snyderverse people who, you know, still want to see the Man of Steel, the Henry Cavill's version, and they'll probably check out the trailer, but that doesn't mean it's going to translate at the box office, right? So July 11th is the date it's coming out. You know, also Superman Legacy is determined now to be the most anticipated movie of 2025, right? That's coming out. So this is all very interesting stuff. you know, will, you know, as to, you know, what will be the success of Superman. Also kind of got this little running joke going. I think it might actually be true though. You know, I think this is actually true, and that is that the revenue, the YouTube AdSense revenue, and I haven't added up And, uh, it may be true. I have to see how much Craven the Hunter made, but they're saying that just the Superman trailer ad revenue is more than Craven the Hunter. Now, now I gotta go check this out, guys. Let's see how much Craven the Hunter made, because that is crazy if the Superman trailer alone brought in more revenue than Craven the Hunter. I didn't go see Craven the Hunter, and I've heard nothing but bad things about it, unfortunately. But now I have to check that out. Let's take a look and see what the case is. Yeah, it's not looking good, guys. I think they might be telling the truth because Kraven the Hunter, uh, it's saying that it definitely was a box office flop, that it had a $110 million budget, uh, of that $110 million budget, so far it's only made $52.5 million, which means that, uh, it's in the red almost $50 million, right? Oh my goodness. And so when you add the— oh my goodness. So let's see here, uh, um, 250 million views, uh, for Superman. That's probably— that could— that, that AdSense revenue could, could be something like, uh, uh, let's see here, uh, it can probably be as high as $10,000 or more per million views, right? Um, it all depends because sometimes the YouTube ad revenue can be a lot higher than that, right? Can be 2, 3 times higher than that. So let's just to kind of make it where it's, uh, kind of in line with that. Let's see if I— let's say something like $50,000 per million views times, uh, 250, right? So it'd be $50,000 times 250. Right? So that's like, let's see, my math's there. That does like $5 million, $10 million, um, $10 million, what, $15, $15, $20 million, some, some like the $15, $20 million range. So then that means then that, uh, Yeah, I mean, it would— it definitely would be more than Craven the Hunter because Craven the Hunter is in the red, you know. But that would be millions upon millions of dollars, uh, just from the ad revenue from the trailer, right? You know, you know, which of course means that, you know, they're grossing more on their marketing budget than the cost of putting it out there, right? Uh, that is insane, right? But oh wow, guys. Um, yeah, uh, so that's interesting to denote. Will it cross the billion dollar range, right? Of course, that's gonna, that's gonna all depend on, uh, if the Superman fans were in an uproar about the change, uh, with the DCU if they're going to support the film, if they're going to come out and see the film. And the thing is, probably yes, because I think even though just because they may not like the changes, that still doesn't mean that they're not Superman fans and they want to see what's going on, right? So I wouldn't be shocked if a lot of them go to see the movie, if nothing more but just to say how terrible it was, right? So Uh, you know, uh, the history of these top trailers that are premiere, you know, uh, have been breaking the billion dollar to $2 billion threshold, right? So gonna be very interesting.
