In this video, the host explains Telos’s Universal Basic Income (UBI) program called Acorns, which originated after Telos forked from EOS. Telos implemented Acorns before EOS’s planned Universal Resource Inheritance Program, distributing a daily allotment of Acorn tokens that must be partially forwarded to other accounts. The host notes that Acorns are experimental, currently unlisted on exchanges, and suggests early adoption could be valuable as UBI gains political momentum, citing Andrew Yang’s campaign. The video also promotes the creator’s own project, BitcoinNYK, which offers a 1,000‑token airdrop to Telos users who provide their Telos wallet and a Waves wallet address, enabling trading on the Waves DEX. The host concludes with a call to like, subscribe, and support UBI initiatives.

Hey you, welcome back to the channel. And today we want to talk Telos, the Universal Basic Income program now implemented by Telos. So Telos was a fork of EOS. There was this fork between EOS and Telos, uh, and there were some changes made, uh, with EOS as far as distribution— or sorry, rather Telos as far as distribution. Uh, and Telos has now went on to now add a universal basic income program to the platform under the name of Acorns. Interesting enough, EOS also had planned to release a universal basic income program. Looks like Telos did it first. It seems like after the fork between Telos and EOS that Telos went on to fulfill some of the things, or some of maybe the original ideas that were in EOS, or concepts and ideas they wanted to, to be part of EOS, and they went on to create their, their separate blockchain. Now, with EOS, as I understand it, the way their Universal Basic Income program will work would be under something called the Universal Resource Inheritance Program, and it would work or be funded by the annual inflation of EOS. But getting back to Telos that has their universal basic income program now functioning, they use something called acorns. And every day you can receive so many acorns and you have to, send them to another— out of your account to another person. You have to— they have a special rule where you have to send so many, uh, ACorns, uh, out when you receive them in your, in, in your account. I'm going to try to leave some links in the description to reference, uh, about how exactly that works in some videos. Uh, but it sounds like a very interesting, uh, project. At this point in time, it is experimental. Um, and, uh, I, I think they're going for the mass adoption angle, uh, with universal basic income, which some thought may be the plan of EOS. Now, it seems that all of this is happening on the verge of what's gonna be a revolution and a push for universal basic income. Even in our current political systems in America, we have a candidate gaining a lot of traction by the name of Andrew Yang, running on the universal basic income platform. So what it seems to be now with universal basic income is this is no longer a, uh, something of the future, a plan of the future, an idea of the future. And whereas several years ago this would have been a thought of, this is seriously considered now. And there is a very good chance that this will be implemented in the United States of America universal basic income every month for every US citizen. So it seems to be going that direction. So how Tello's works is you can receive these ACorns every day. Now, here's the thing though, as it is experimental, people are setting up accounts, moving ACorns to and fro. There is no exchange at this time for ACORN tokens. It doesn't have a market as of yet. Perhaps when the user base builds up, you know, then there will be an exchange for this, right? So maybe this now is a good time to get in. You have to set up your Telos wallet. You can download it at telos.io and be able to use their wallet. And so getting those acorns now may prove one day to be a valuable token as We're seeing a lot of press, a lot of attention going into universal basic income. Uh, our project BitcoinNYK as well has implemented a universal basic income program. It does trade with value as of now on the Waves decentralized exchange, and we are implementing an airdrop of 1,000 tokens to every Telos user. We're doing a Telos airdrop as well. All you need to do is, um, in our site on our forum, you will need to enter your Telos, um, wallet identification. Uh, you will also need to enter our wallet address over at Waves, which will be instructions at the forum. We will leave a link in the description, and you can receive 1,000, uh, BitcoinNYK tokens if you have a Telos wallet and begin trading them over on Wave. So very interesting. We love universal basic income programs. Uh, we would love to, uh, for there to be more and hope that all these communities work together and participate together as we're all moving toward the same goal. But guys, that's all I want to say in this video. If you like content like this, don't forget to like, subscribe, and until next time, take care.
