Tenet - 2020 Trailer Review

In this solo YouTube review, the host introduces his education‑entertainment channel and promotes a new website that rewards viewers with cryptocurrency for watching video reviews. He then dives into an analysis of the Tenet trailer, explaining the title’s palindrome nature and connecting it to Christopher Nolan’s long‑standing fascination with time, citing Memento, Inception, and Interstellar. The reviewer outlines the trailer’s key visual clues—a secret‑program test, reverse‑moving scenes, and a recurring briefcase—speculating that the film will feature time‑inversion rather than conventional time travel. He discusses the cast, highlighting John David Washington as the lead and Kenneth Branagh as a likely Russian antagonist or mentor, and draws a parallel to the film Predestination, which also uses a briefcase for temporal movement. The host references theoretical physicists such as Michio Kaku and Sean Carroll to suggest the film’s premise aligns with contemporary scientific speculation about reversible time. Throughout, he expresses enthusiasm for Nolan’s work (while noting some films felt overrated), promotes the crypto‑earning platform, and ends with a call‑to‑action for likes, subscriptions, and platform sign‑ups.

Welcome back to the channel. I hope you're all having a great Friday evening as we go into the weekend. So, um, the Education Entertainment Television Show, you know, we started doing a lot of movies, TV reviews, and some of my other passions involve movies, cinema, television, um, and, uh, just kind of was an overall variety channel. And in recent times with the cryptomania, speaking about things like Bitcoin and like we got into cryptocurrencies that, you know, we believe is going to be the new wave into the future. Now, all this is very important to the channel because since then we've created this very interesting website that allows you to earn cryptocurrency while watching our movie reviews, TV reviews, And you're also able to have your videos put on here as well. And so what we're going to do today is review the movie Tenet, uh, the movie trailer that's out, uh, right now. Uh, very excited about this. This is definitely right up my alley of the type of films I like to review and watch. Um, and it's not out yet, but we do have the movie trailer here. So, um, we'll leave a link in the description how you can Basically come on the site, earn, um, basically, uh, earn cryptocurrency, which is a digital money that you can use to do many things that you do with real money. Um, in fact, it's exchangeable for real money. Um, you're able to, uh, gain this just by looking at the video. So, um, you'll be able to do that. Uh, it's integrated with YouTube, so you don't have to change anything. You're still on YouTube, still YouTube quality. And we'll leave the link in description to check that out. But let's get into the review for the movie Tenet, and let's talk a little bit about it and what it means. Let's look at this clip. We all believe we've run into the burning building. But until we feel that heat, we can never know. You do. Okay, so let's start right there. Let's, let's talk a little bit about Tenet. And, uh, first let's start with the word tenet. Now The word Tenet is basically what you might call a palindrome. What is a palindrome? It is a word that reads the same way backward or forward, right? So if you take Tenet, the letters in Tenet, it reads Tenet whether it's going backward or forward. Now, Christopher Nolan, who's directing this film, for those of you who all don't know, this is the same Christopher Nolan, uh, responsible for the Dark Knight trilogy. He's responsible for Memento. He's responsible for Dunkirk, Inception, Interstellar, right? So he has a, you know, great track record and he definitely knows how to make a great film. The lead character is being played by John David Washington. That's Denzel Washington, the actor's, Oscar-winning actor's son, who sounds very interesting, a greedo like him in certain parts of the trailer. But, uh, um, we want to talk about, um, where this movie is going and what exactly it means. Now, it doesn't really give us a whole lot, um, it— not in the first trailer. But, uh, we did get a second trailer today, and it's a lot more details in that, um. And so basically what we have to do is first go back and understand Christopher Nolan's, uh, fascination with time. Right, it starts in a, I believe it was 1999 movie called Memento, right, where a guy, he loses track of time, right, through a type of amnesia. He's forced to write on his body to remember things. Uh, of course then, uh, we got him playing a great deal with time in the film Inception, right? Inception, that's the dream world where they're able to, uh, go into other people's dreams, as you remember, as you recall. Interstellar, uh, literally orbiting a black hole to go back in time. So he's very fascinated with time, and time is one of those things that philosophically, uh, many people question at some point, uh, as to what exactly this is. And there's a pattern here with Christopher Nolan. And interesting enough, just, you know, uh, me personally, I love, uh, the concept of time, what it means you know, how exactly it works. And so I've done quite a bit of studying on the subject of time and trying to understand that. So this is certainly going to be a movie that is, at the very least, the subject of the movie is going to interest me a lot. Now, what we get to see from the trailer, and it's been two, this is the first one, but there's a second one, we'll talk a little bit about that, but The main character seems to pass a very interesting test to get into what it seems to be some type of secret program where there's something dealing with a government agency or shadow government or shadow group spies or what have you. They are— John David Washington's character, he passed this test. Now he's greeted by, uh, what is essentially a, um, uh, I would assume one of the agents of this organization telling him to welcome to the afterlife, right? So, so in understanding that, it almost seems like there was at least some simulation or act of what seemed to be death, or at least the participants believed they had died, right? And that they were willing to make some type of sacrifice, similar to how, uh, in the old 1960s spy thrillers, when the spy was caught, he would swallow the cyanide pill, right? So, uh, it just seems— it just appears that way, that the assumption is, um, that, um, the main character passes his test, he gets into this program, right? Uh-oh, excuse me, guys. I was trying to play a little bit more of the trailer and it doesn't seem to want me to let me do that. So let me see here. I'm sorry about that. Trying to hit my scroll button back there. Okay. So, um, I'm sure you won't have that problem when you try out the application, but let's keep going. So anyway, um, when he's awakened by this person, um, you know, basically he's now in this program from what we could see in the trailer, uh, and, um, uh, basically, uh, you see these very weird scenes where they seem to be moving in reverse. Now I think this kind of moves us back to the palindrome Tenet, which is I think a great clue of the film, uh, that is dealing with time and inversion of time, right? Kind of like the palindrome again. Um, and that seems to be basically how— it's almost like you can just rewind time right now. In the second trailer, uh, that just came out today, they do go into detail and explain that it is basically a type of inversion and playing with time. Now, they don't really use the term time travel or time machine. I'm not sure how they're able to manipulate, uh, this, this, um, this, this, uh, this dimension of time, right? Is it some type of probability loop or whatever it is? But it seems to be a direct, uh, inversion of their timeline where they can reverse time backwards and forward. Okay, um, so that's all very interesting, um, Now, of course, you see the film actually being rewound, you know, backwards and forward. It's almost like they can control it at will. Now, we don't see any type of contraptions or machinery yet, but there is a briefcase that they carry quite often through the film. And I'm assuming that that briefcase is the device that allows them to do this. Now, interesting enough, this is also very reminiscent of a film that, um, was, uh, shown called, uh, or that came out not many years ago called Predestination. And in the, uh, Predestination film, uh, what we basically got was we got, uh, uh, a time traveler carrying a briefcase, right? And this briefcase was able to make him move through time. Now again, the way that the Secretary of State explains it is that they're not really doing time travel, but they can just kind of reverse time, which is, of course, you're manipulating a series, a set of events, series of events. But it's not exactly like time travel in, I think, the sense many of us think about it. Like, they actually have to go through the events in order to go back to the events. Right. And then I guess they can perhaps change the events. Also, it's kind of interesting, it looks like the main character played by Kenneth Branagh is again portraying this Russian character, and I find that so very funny because Kenneth Branagh's Russian is horrible. He's a great Shakespearean actor, but he's not so good when it comes to his accent, right? So He actually tried that in, I believe it was a movie about Jack Ryan. Um, in it, I believe it was the one with Chris Pine, if I'm not mistaken, where he plays one of the main characters in one of the Jack Ryan films. Uh, he's playing a Russian in that. Um, and so he's in this film. I'm beginning to believe he may be either the lead, uh, villain in the film, right? Or he might be the, uh, a person who, uh, is actually able to manipulate time as well. Or maybe he's just some type of mentor going to help them catch someone. But it's obviously what it seems to be is that there's somebody else who can manipulate this, uh, flow of time, as it were, and they're, they're the organization tasked with capturing these people. So it looks fantastic. Um, You know, um, I really like Chris Nolan films. I don't like all of them. Some of them I think, I think was overrated, but I do believe that the subject matter, uh, of many of his films is very interesting. Um, and I think he puts a lot of thought in this film. He knows how to shoot a really good high-quality film. And all of these things, I can see all the traits of, uh, signature Christopher Nolan here. So the film looks awesome. I can't, I can't wait till it, till it comes out. Was there anything else missing in that trailer? Right. And of course, you'll be able to watch it here on the site, earn some cryptocurrency at the same time while you're doing it. Well, let's see here. I think that's about it because it doesn't give us a whole, whole lot, you know, through the trailer. But I think it's got to be one of those thought-provoking, great films. You know, of course, they show in the second trailer this interesting scene where instead of him shooting a bullet out of a gun, he's actually receiving a bullet because he's able to manipulate the arrow of time, as it were, right? I think I just want to add in the end that some physicists have wrote many theoretical papers about there being no reason why in certain physical dimensions, mathematically, why time can't work directly in reverse, how it goes forward into the future, right? So, you know, so this, this concept of where Christopher Nolan is going with this seems to be right out of some of the theoretical physicists' notebooks, ones like Michio Kaku and Sean Carroll. Um, so gonna be very interesting to watch this film. But that's all I want to say, guys. Uh, if you like content like this, don't forget to like, subscribe. If you want to earn our great cryptocurrency, make a few pennies in your pocket, make a few bucks in your pocket watching our videos, watching our reviews through our, uh, uh, web-based, uh, platform here, uh, we'll leave that link in description.
