Tesla Bot Impact On Crypto (UBI)

Elon Musk says Tesla's humanoid robot will displace jobs, making universal basic income inevitable. The host argues cryptocurrency offers a better path to UBI than government, and promotes BitcoinNYK/BitcoinMYK as a decentralized alternative to traditional welfare systems.

This is going to be a massive social challenge, and I think ultimately we will have to have some kind of universal basic income. I don't think we're gonna have a choice. Universal basic income. Universal basic income. I think it's going to be necessary. So it means that unemployed people will be paid across the globe? Yeah.
Welcome back to the channel, and I hope you all are having a great day. So we want to talk now about the release of Tesla humanoid robot which is in the works for Tesla. And of course, Elon Musk, ever the showman, has this very interesting presentation recently at CNET that talks about the purpose of this humanoid robot. Now what I want to talk today about is not only what Elon Musk just stated about universal basic income, but I want to talk specifically about it in relation to cryptocurrency because what many people in this area now of universal basic income, many people who are predicting the future is how it will end up, many of these strong advocates for universal basic income are starting to see the, the very relation between universal basic income and cryptocurrencies, blockchain technology. And the reason for this is because I think they've been able to put together what's going to be the best platform to launch universal basic income on. I think it's becoming ever so more clearer that the reason that we're gonna need universal basic income in the future. But what would be the best platform to launch it on? And many people are agreeing that this isn't something that's going to be able to be really done at the government level. Now, that doesn't mean that the government may not have to lead the way on this like it's done in many fields. And it doesn't mean that the government won't play a big part in universal basic income, but I think ultimately what it means is that universal basic income is something that will have to exist onto itself for itself and carry its own value to itself. And that might proceed outside of government control, government economies, government currency systems, and it may just have to move into a future technology that is going to rid itself of many of the issues that we may find in a government approach, like inflation, if that even is a thing or would be a thing in universal basic income. So why is this— why am I saying that the Tesla reveal or the bot And speaking about its impact on cryptocurrencies, well, again, much of my focus is on the relationship between universal basic income and the importance of cryptocurrencies to it. But when a large company like Tesla starts to experiment with things like this, the type of budget Tesla has— for example, I will— if you've seen this one, it's probably the most most advanced humanoid robot we've seen to date, the Sophia robot. It's done by Hanson Robotics, uh, a very, uh, smart, uh, programmer, Ben Goertzel, uh, you know, working with essentially, uh, you know, uh, some artists and, you know, people who, uh, may have had some connection to Disney World. And you've seen all those very interesting, um, animatronics that they have and, and so on and so forth, but There have been like this collection of people working on the Sophia bot, and you know, it's mixed emotions about the, uh, the Sophia bot. Some people see it as a type of, uh, uh, what could be deemed maybe as a, um, you know, as a puppeteer stunt. But, um, you know, there, there have been some advancements there, and with her becoming more human-like But even in all of these things, there's, there are still some limitations, and a lot of that limitation generally ends up being money and budget. So my point is, I'm pretty sure that Hanson Robotics that's doing many of these humanoid, you know, cutting-edge robots, or as close to cutting edge as we can get right now, I think that they would have still significantly a lower budget than what Tesla's gonna have with this bot. You know, even when Elon during the presentation was asked about how he felt about decentralization of this, you know, robot, seeing that this was a lot of his argument about the dangers of AI, super AI, and, you know, maybe in this case even humanoid AIs and their arrangement and their relationships with human beings. The Terminators, as it were. Um, you know, he had voiced that the decentralization of the AI would be the, the best move. However, when he was faced with the question of would he be willing to do that, uh, from a profit perspective with Tesla and his legal fiduciary responsibilities to shareholders, That doesn't work because decentralization of AI, there's no money in that. There's no profit in that. It is for the good of mankind. And so that doesn't work for Tesla. So what's going to happen is Tesla's going to have a very big budget. They're going to have a specific budget to profit off of this. And in a weird sense, it's going to create a much more advanced robot. Now, ultimately, you know, my mindset is You decentralize a network and everybody's talents and skills go into it. You create a better product. But, you know, uh, there still is this type of, uh, uh, control over people's mind about only good things can be created if people are paid. People only want to invest their time into something if they are compensated. And so that was Elon Musk's argument. Now, the thing is, this bot will probably end up being more advanced than, you know, the Sophia robot. You know, also, it was kind of interesting. Somebody in the audience asked a question about, you know, will they become more humanoid, more companion-like? And Elon kind of jokingly led off the conversation, you know, like these companion bots having a wife as a robot in the future. And, you know, he kind of, you know, moved on to say, you know, people can get creative with the technology later down the road, or maybe they can scrap parts or whatever. But I also— but I personally kind of found it a serious question and a question that, uh, I could see Elon taking more serious in future development with this bot, simply because there is going to be a— an honest Mars expedition that may happen within the next 10 years There's going to be this, um, this great obstacle to overcome of isolation out in deep space. We've never been this far out before. These are like year-long missions, you know, is, you know, years and years to get a person back from Mars. You might be looking at, uh, at least, you know, 3 to 5 years, you know, for the average expedition to complete round trip in some instances. So what, what are they going to be doing out there now? I know they have the VR and augmented reality they're going to be using out in deep space, and that might work to a certain extent. Sorry about that, guys. I'll turn off notifications. I always forget to do that. But out in deep space, what would also be a great deal more useful? Humanoid robots, right? Robots that act like humans, you know, putting several dozen of them on a space mission. you know, and, and letting them, uh, work on Mars. And, uh, also just psychologically kind of reminds you of the, of the movie I Am Legend, when every day he would have these mannequins sitting around a town he himself only occupied, and he'd have these mannequins sitting in, you know, various locations, and he would communicate with them, and it would kind of preserve his sanity somewhat. And so we don't know the deep psychological effects of what's going to happen out in Mars. Uh, these Mars expeditions, perhaps they might need several doctors on board. But I think these robots looking at things that look humanoid around you, that, that could be a, uh, a significant use case. But let's talk about, you know, overall what this is going to mean in relation to cryptocurrency, universal basic income, automation, bots, and, and so on and so forth. Yes, so want to talk about the implications of what this Tesla bot can become. So in these initial stages, in these early stages, you know, besides having a big, you know, budget, as Elon expressed, that decentralizing this property, you know, wouldn't be in the best interest of Tesla, right? It's not profitable for Tesla to spend a lot of money to do that. And if they aren't going to be able to spend a lot of money, then they're going to be able to get less things done, you know, in that, you know, in, in that perspective. But let's look at the initial stages. Let's kind of graduate it up. Looking at the Tesla bot, it's first going to be mostly in relation to the software of the car. And, um, what Elon was saying is it, it, you know, it— even though they won't exactly decentralize the software, but it might be possible for it to be distributed into many, many automobiles, and these can network together, right? And so it still doesn't have to be, um, a system with less development, less network. It can— it can— and more communication with more vehicles on the road. It could— the software could actually be licensed out to other manufacturers. right, installed, and your Tesla could be communicating with this vehicle over here. So, so, so those kind of things can occur. Now with that software and maybe with the communication of this humanoid bot in relation to the, you know, to the software, can you imagine like, um, a type of, uh, you know, with Tesla concierge service with the bots, you know, maybe You know, you have, you kind of chauffeured around in this driverless Tesla, kind of got this humanoid bot sitting up there like he's driving the car, communicating with the car. He's doing other things provided now with this Tesla service, like taking your groceries in the house, because that dexterity, that seems going to be one of the main topics or one focus areas of the the, the, um, you know, focus on the usefulness of the, of the Tesla bot, right? So being able to grip and hold things, being able to maneuver and walk and do these various actions, uh, is going, you know, as a bipedal bot, a humanoid bot, there are going to be some concierge activities that open up, uh, with just owning and driving Teslas in addition with, you know, these bots. You know, they— I remember, uh, some years ago it was a company that made dummies, and the purpose of the dummy was just to sit up in the car, ride around, uh, with, you know, in particular female drivers, and that would convince, you know, people who could be assailants or, uh, you know, people who could be potentially harmful that they were accompanied by someone, uh, uh, you know, a large male perhaps, that would create some security and defense for them if it came to that. But, you know, there could be a number of applications that could then move on to more development, advancement in the bots, and overall just humanoid bots, um, doing a variety of things. So it could be the stepping stone for those type things. And what begins to happen then? Well, of course, due to development and the use of these bots through various humanoid-like activities, uh, with the dollars behind it to advance the bot, maybe Tesla opens up another bot area and they take over creating these next future generation bots. That has happened before. Car manufacturers have become other industries. Uh, BMW, uh, you know, used to make airplanes, right? That is what the logo is about. The logo is supposed to be a propeller, uh, an airplane propeller against a blue sky, right? And so, uh, BMW was an airplane manufacturer. Automobile manufacturer, right? And, uh, some of them go on to be, uh, you know, um, fashion, uh, and furniture makers. But there's no reason that the development into the Tesla humanoid bot cannot only be used on Mars, on Mars missions and expeditions, but there's no reason it can't be used in our everyday societies through that development. right? And to the point they could just fork off into a specific robotics company and we got something like Skynet and the Terminator. That too is very possible. So all very interesting, but I wouldn't put it past them. Now where cryptocurrencies come in, in a world like that, uh, I believe this is going to speed up the process ever more so, uh, for cryptocurrency, especially universal basic income cryptocurrencies like Elon said at the beginning of the video. And systems are going to need to exist to facilitate that. And we're on one right now, BitcoinNYK.com, a universal basic income cryptocurrency that uses an algorithm that basically allows, you know, for you to various things you do on networks you're part of, you get the cryptocurrency as now as a means of support and sustenance. And as the network grows, of course, the most valuable it grows. Right now, starting off, it's worth very, very little. I just want to put that out there. People come, you know, for people come looking for, oh, it's gonna save, it's gonna put food on the table, just gonna do this. And no, it's gonna do none of that. This is the prototype. This is the beginning of a system that can, uh, perhaps in the future facilitate that. So if you're even coming on the project come for those reasons. Don't come because you're interested in Universal Basic Income. Come because you want to create solutions for the future and you want to grow in value with that network. Don't come to make quick money. Don't come because you need $20 or $100. Don't come because you're looking to get rich but afraid to get scammed. Those are none of the reasons to be part of this project. And, uh, if you're thinking like that, do yourself a favor, do not come. But if you do come, leave your pocketbook at home. Understand what we're doing here. See the relationship between this and what's happening with, um, uh, robotics, artificial intelligence, technologies of the future, and why, uh, big tech gurus like, uh, Elon Musk start off this video saying things like, uh, universal basic income is going to be necessary, and he's creating bots now. To take more jobs? What are we going to do to facilitate this? Now, it's not Elon's fault if he didn't create the bot. Somebody else would. And that's part of why we got the exhibit, because he was saying if they did create the proper bot for the proper Tesla product, somebody else would. And he was concerned about them not doing it better. Same thing here with us. We're trying to do Universal Basic Income. We think we understand enough. We think we're going to do a better job at it. But we don't think this is going to be separate from cryptocurrencies. Cryptocurrency is going to play a huge part in this. This is not something your governments can handle on their own. So that's the message we want to bring to you all today. We hope you enjoyed the video. Uh, don't forget to join BitcoinMYK.com.
