Uptrennd - Best Social Network On Blockchain Review

Hey you, welcome back to the channel. And today we have a very exciting new platform that's launched called Uptrends. I want to tell you today about Uptrends. I haven't been excited about a project in quite a while, not on a level like this. And although there are many great projects out there, there are some projects that do a very good job of addressing many issues that occur specifically over the use of social media over the blockchain. It does something different than I've seen from others and how to address those issues. So let's tell you a little bit about Uptrends today and see what we can learn. Uptrends, a new era of social media platform created with the sole purpose of empowering the people. Uptrend stands on 4 foundational pillars: freedom of speech, data security, equality of opportunity, and distribution of wealth. On Uptrend, your private information will never be permissionlessly sold, um, and you will earn 80% of all advertising revenue generated on the platform. Uptrend is a movement to shift the wealth and power from the corporations back to the people. Bloggers, photographers, videographers, musicians, podcasters, selfie aficionados, and all other content creators are now able to monetize and thrive through their posts and passions like never before. Every time a member's post or comment is upvoted, they receive rewards. The higher a member's level, the more rewards they can earn. At level 1, members can earn 1 token per upvote. Each token on the platform is sold at a base rate of 5 cents Upvote. Upvoting is free. During the initial growth phase of Uptrends, the conversation will be focused on niche of cryptocurrency. As community grows, 6 months to a year, topics will slowly branch out onto a diverse ecosystem across all topics, making Uptrend the most secure and profitable platform to share any content. So let's think a moment about what's being said here, why this is a game changer, and why this is so important. So first, at the base, every vote is 5 cents. So let's think about that for a moment. If, if every vote is 5 cents, then that means that everybody is equally treated equal and their contributions are valued pretty much the same across the network as well. 80% of all advertising revenue generated on the platform goes back into the economy to shift the wealth and power from the corporations back to the people. So let's just stop right there and let's, let's try to pull this apart and why this works and why I think it's going to work great. Because if you think about it, in cryptocurrency, the idea generally works to be something like we're kind of this grassroots movement. We go into these platforms and we buy their cryptocurrencies, we buy their tokens, and this is how they fund their operations. Uptrends does something different. It not only takes that into account, but it allows itself to generate money from corporations, but gives the users the options to gain value from that. And that's very important because it makes the platform sustainable. And I think it's only fair that we have already given over so much of our money value to corporations. That they've already taken so much from us, I think it's only fair that we have the option to get that money back and give it back to the people. I think the next part is, or the part that becomes, uh, very, uh, difficult, is when you create these platforms and people put their value into these platforms, but they're not equally rewarded back as to what they put in. And so people put a lot of work into their content, their videographies, their music, their podcasts, and a variety of things. And they just— the amount of energy it takes to construct these things. I've heard things like people take several hours to make videos. And for them to receive such little for it, uh, it is not much appreciation for the hard work and the value they give over to us. And one way to correct that is by making every vote everybody gets equal. I've always pushed for that. I've always been a proponent of that, and nobody has done it because there needs to be a way to fund these operations. But Uptrend solves that problem because they're able to take money from corporations, they're able to take it from us as a community, as a group, and make this sustainable. So I'm very impressed and applaud the work Uptrend has done in that. I'm using the platform so far. I think it's a magnificent platform. Now, as I understand it, they're supposedly now trading on, I believe it's called Sistine Coin, uh, these— I'm sorry, Sixteen Exchange, uh, sister Sistine Coin or Sister Coin, I have to look it up. I believe it's a Turkish exchange, but I've heard, um, I've heard it before and I know of several coins that trades on it. Um, and as I understand it, they're going to be trading over there and they're finding some other homes to possibly trade at, but I don't believe they're going to have a significant problem trading because I think the way that they are starting off with this platform is just so amazing. So let's take a look at some of the layout of how it looks. You know, it has a very much a Reddit feel. And as you can see right now, there are a lot of YouTubers over here. There are a lot of content creators, popular ones here like Crypto Channel here, Omar from Crypto Channel. He's a very big YouTube over 100,000 subscribers. And I'm also seeing many people on Uptrends that come over from many of the other social networks where they be steaming. And it is so user-friendly, very easy to use. And in its initial phase, it seems to be that they just mostly want to focus on cryptocurrency. So it's got to be stages to this. For the first 6 months of their operation, they like to focus on cryptocurrency, getting the cryptocurrency community involved in this, in this, people who understand cryptocurrency. And then the next period of time, they're going to be much more welcoming to, uh, everybody who does your standard blogging and photography. And this is all very important as well, because what this does is it, um, embraces a large variety of people who are gonna be able to use this very easy to use interface, use it so it has a much better chance of mass adopting, right? And that's what we need in this space. We no longer need this difficult technology to navigate. We need it easy for anybody to use, your grandmother to use it. And we're getting that in Uptrends. And Uptrends is just, I can't say it enough, I can't stress it enough. Uptrends is such a pleasure to use, right? It's just awesome. And it addresses the issues, doesn't it? Right? What tends to happen, and many of you who have participated in these sites, you already know what I'm talking about, but there is a lot of inequality on these platforms because there's power in these upvotes, there's value in these upvotes. Each upvote is like 5 cents. That means that everybody who comes in, they can control this money. That's part of Uptrends. The problem is, or the problem becomes, how do you distribute this money? And this is when we get into all this variety of mechanisms on many other sites. Well, you get more value to your votes and things like that based on how much of you can purchase in a very specific way, whereas Uptrend does have leveling up and you can purchase these tokens and you can actually convert them to advertise on the site also, which I think is a very awesome feature. I think they're starting off great in the beginning with that, but initially you come in, everybody's valued the same. Nobody has a $100 upvote, $50 upvote. Everybody who comes in starts with a 5-cent upvote. Right? That's a, that's a pretty good upvote. That's pretty strong upvote, and it gives you a chance to earn some money. So I could tell you this is going to be a great site, guys, because it's so easy to use, because I think it's also had a chance to very much look at the mistakes of other people. Uh, it has many great features as well, guys. You can instant message on this. This is something I don't see often in these type platforms. You can instant message on it. Has very easy-to-use built-in interface or wallets and variety of things like that. Now, as I understand it, Uptrends is not a blockchain as of yet. Their website is separate from the cryptocurrency, right? But they intend to change that in the future. Now, I've made this argument before and I'll make it again. And that is that I do, I think that it makes more sense in some cases to use another blockchain, right? To create a cryptocurrency outside the website in order to, if you know, if you're not, if it's not necessary for you to have a blockchain at that point in time, you know, unfortunately a lot of people go build blockchains. These blockchains aren't very secure and they can be attacked. And, uh, right, it's probably just easier to use another blockchain, right, that's already more secure. You can piggyback off them. It also, instead of spending all that money to create what could be initially just an inferior blockchain, to me it makes more sense to give that back to your users, your investors, build up with the community over time. Once you get the value and the sustainability, you can go in and you can become whatever you wish to become, right? And so that's all very, very important, guys. Very, very important. But Uptrend is just an awesome site, easy to use. You can just, you can log in through Facebook, you can set up an, um, uh, an account standard. You're approved, it looks like, instantly. So it's none of that waiting to be approved or anything like that. And so they seem to be in a very much onboarding stage right now. But I can tell you, like what they told me when I first came over the uptrends, guys, you're gonna love this. And there's something there for everybody on this site, right? Let me get over here to my profile, take a look at what's going on so I can kind of just show you what it looks like on the inside of these posts. Well, I'm sorry, or your profile on the site, what some of the interface looks like here on the site. Um, okay, so this is my profile. So far I've earned 33.5 points. I just joined the other day. And another thing I noticed, like, if you look at this, I just posted this a few minutes ago, but you get quite a lot of views on your, on your post, right? Uh, and that's, and that's pretty awesome. This is probably like first one of these types, and I believe that's due to because it's so easy to set up an account and get started. But you can see I'm getting upvotes. Each upvote is like 5 cents. 325 views on that, uh, 204 on this, uh, 217. And for some reason, people like looking at my ugly mug here. I got 1,186 views when I posted this yesterday and 16 points to that. Just heard a click, which means somebody probably just upvoted me or commented or something like that. Really like this site, guys. I really, really like it. I, I tell you, I've been on many of these social network blogging, and as well, this is also a video posting. So just want you all to understand, you also directly upload your video to Uptrends. You don't go through somebody else or another, another service or another website. You can upload your videos directly to Uptrends. And this is so, so awesome. So freaking awesome, guys. You are going to love it. You can— you have something like a buddy list where you can contact people directly. You can speak to them directly. You don't have to go offsite. And so it's very social network-like in the actual idea. So that's why I think it's going to be so popular. I am so relieved and glad the find something like this, uh, because, um, it has pretty much answered all of the issues and problems as far as I can see in these type, uh, platforms, right? Is there is equality through voting, there is the sustainability idea of you take ad revenue, you put it back in the value of the cryptocurrency. So it's respect, it's value, It's easy to use. It has many features of what you would want in a social network. So this is all fantastic, guys, just awesome. And that's all I'm gonna say in this video.
